Edgar did a great job patching, sanding, texturing and painting several holes in our walls after wall furnace removals, tv mount removals and electrical wiring work. He was able to come out next day to put in a bid for it after my request. And he was ready to start the job the day after that. Amazing for someone who can't stand looking at ugly walls for long. He arrived on time both days and worked hard both days to finish early. We felt safe leaving the house in his hands while we enjoyed time outdoors due to the primer and paint fumes. After living in my condo for 17 years with light yellow and white painted walls, it was finally time to glow up to beautiful all white walls! It makes my place look bright, light, clean and like new! Edgar and his team were friendly, professional, trustworthy and highly skilled! They treated my place like their own and perform high quality work. The walls were fixed of the blemishes, the baseboards were fixed, my walls were primed, and my walls and ceiling were double coat painted! Such a fantastic job! In the past, my mom would hire a general handyman to do the painting of our house. This was to save money. Thankfully, the results had always been pretty good. This time around, we had a lot of patched up holes in our walls, ceiling, and cabinets due to a complete repipe project in our house. I wanted someone who could match the existing paint because 1) various rooms have different color schemes, and 2) our past handymen didn't save all the paint that they had used. I recommended going with a professional painter to my mom. She was hesitant because of the price difference, but I pushed for it to ensure quality paint matching. Edgar worked with me despite the difficulty of the matching process (the machine at Dunn-Edwards Paints tended to create a lighter shade). He also helped to check our existing paint cans in our garage and found out which ones were matches. We labeled everything now, so I'm grateful for his organizational skills and thinking ahead for the customer. Edgar and his crew were punctual, starting the work day around 8 a.m. and finishing around 4:30 p.m. They were careful about being clean inside the house, especially with our carpeted areas. They also protected my mom's clothes when they painted in her closet. When I had to leave the house, I could trust them to lock up after they finished. They would sweep up the dust too. Communicating by phone was usually quick and easy. Although my mom found them to be pricey and no discount was available, a family friend said that their price was reasonable. I don't really know much about painting, but Edgar assured me that they would apply primer and two coats of paint. For some problem areas in the drywall patches, they tried to fix it as best they could (the other company apparently didn't do so well with the drywall repair). Edgar made sure that I was satisfied with how it looked. I think my mom will be happy with the work when she gets home from her overseas trip. My sister and some family friends came over this weekend and thought that the house looked great (they hadn't been over since before the repipe project). I'm relieved that Edgar finished within the expected time frame because of my sister's visit and also because we need to prepare the house for visiting relatives soon. I called Edgar this week for some touch-up work. He was able to come on a Sunday and take care of it. Did a great job, and took a lot of care to protect the carpets and furniture. It was very affordable too. When he got there I had the wrong paint on hand, so he took a sample and went to Home Depot to get the exact formula to match.
