If I could give Color Vision Painting more than five stars, I would gladly do that. My experience with this company was everything I could have wished for. They painted the siding on front of my house, pressure washed the entire house, including the back, which was all stucco. They repaired several areas where stucco had flaked off. They painted two iron gates and an iron railing. They did a beautiful cosmetic repair to a large wood beam on the front of my house. They built an entire new wooden mini wall enclosure to conceal trash bins. Jonathan, the owner, was completely professional, and extremely pleasant to work with. I really enjoyed working with Jonathan on this, you can tell he and his team take pride in their work. They helped me add new wood to my balcony and give it a full painted makeover. They also did some trimming around the windows as a bonus. I will say the balcony work is excellent, and the add-on work with the windows is good and solid but a little less pristine versus the main job of the balcony. All in all affordable compared to past quotes especially, and for so much more than a coat of paint. My mom had used Color Vision to paint her house as many of her neighbors had in the Carousel tract homes in Carson due to the Shell Oil lawsuit. There, you can see the results of Color Visions work on many of the homes. Upon finding out about Color Vision, I contacted Jonathan Alvarez who came to my home and gave me a quote within 24 hours. A very good price was given to paint using up to 3 colors, fix some stucco issues, stain my backyard gate, and do a foam window molding around my front window. Jonathan and his crew showed up the morning of the start date and began work, tearing out bad stucco and old brickwork, prepping cracks in the stucco, patchwork and some window seal repair work. Once we gave him our color selection they painted the whole house in about 2 days. We are very happy with the workmanship and the colors, we feel like we are living in a new house! Thank you Jonathan and crew for your expert craftsmanship as shown in the pictures. On a side note, about 10 years ago I used a company, BMV Contruction, to paint my house. They do substandard work using substandard materials and do not honor their "lifetime warranty". After painting my property, they leave the trash in my trash can, and tell me it is not their trash, especially the owner, Jonhaton, when he wants the job, everything is so nice after everything is turn sour. Don't believe his words. I had bad experience with this company. I accidentally deleted some pictures, the trash all full in 4 trash cans. I got several estimates for painting exterior of my house. Color Vision's was less than some, not others but very competitive. I didn't see too many reviews for exterior painting but Jonathan Alvarez assured me that they do it all. He took a look and noticed some minor things that needed to be done like screening on a metal screen door and offered to do them as part of the job. He was even able to paint behind a very long stretch of continuous (1-piece) gutter on my 2 story house by unclipping a short gutter segment from attachment, painting behind it then reclipping it. Other painting contractors were afraid of getting into that. He provided a very detailed description of work and repeatedly said "you will be happy with the result." I had a good feel for him, saw his positive reviews and decided to use Color Vision. The crew consisted of a 40-ish painter and two young guys who were his son and nephew. Those young painters were professional, worked very hard and knew their stuff so don't let their age fool you. It was encouraging to see them talking with Jonathan who it was clear they had good relationship with -- no grumblers or malcontents among them and they seemed to enjoy one another's presence. My conclusion was that they were good people as well as being skilled. They prepped for days before starting any painting, finished on schedule and the result was as Jonathan promised and very good. FANTASTIC!!!! I am so pleased with Color Vision Painting. Our house looks NEW since they painted! Our house looked so dated and we decided it was time to clean up our act. Richard from Color Vision Painting came out and really went over all options and clarified all details before coming up with an estimate. After our initial meeting, I had some follow up questions about the process and Richard was always reachable or got right back to me. Once our date was set for painting Jonathan managed the painting team. What an AMAZING crew! The painters really know their stuff, are so nice, and did the job RIGHT! They sanded and sealed and truly prepped for the paint to last. Also we had some major stucco repair, so many uneven surfaces, windows that had been placed but not smoothed out around the frames, cracking and breaking where the stucco met the ground, etc ... they smoothed all of this out, no one will ever know what a disaster it once was, thanks to them! Should have read more of the reviews before I got them started, but knew someone who suggested that they were good. Had them in to do several days of misc. work around the building. When finished, I pointed out a couple of places that were sub par and could use some additional work. Johnny told me that they were only hired to do touch up and that what I was complaining about was not their problem. I hired them by the day. I was not adverse to paying them for additional time to finish the job properly, but Johnny just blew me off. Never again!! I don't understand the generally good reviews they get.
