Yay my house is beautiful and pink now! They were extremely thorough and detailed making sure not to miss anything throughout the process. As far as I can tell everything was done with the utmost care and preparation making sure the finished result would turn out as we hoped. I can already tell this job was done far better than our previous painters so I expect it will last much longer and look much better as well. Igor came and gave me a competitive price and setup a date quickly as we were looking to have the paint done asap. Everything went smoothly and was done as stated in the estimate details. The only little hiccup I could make a suggestion for in the future is just knock to let the owner know when you need to paint the door trim as my dogs really wanted to run out the door as soon as it swung open. Luckily I was nearby to grab them but that wouldn't be ideal for anyone involved if they ran out. The workers assigned to our property were otherwise very consistently hard working and listened to any requests we had along with the way. We received a written detailed estimate from William Mejia which at first seemed comparable with other estimates. What sets Superior painting apart is that they offered a very comprehensive and detailed contract explaining how their painting service will be performed. They prepped the house to perfection. All holes patched, stucco repaired seamlessly, every crack sealed, caulked. They are also very good at painting multiple types of materials. Stucco, wood, metal, vinyl all with different prepping and paints. They also helped us make color choices with a colorist that really helped us chose the best colors for our house. William also worked with us when we asked for a one delay to the job due to rain. On the first day of painting, an entire crew showed up on time and Marlon introduced himself as the contact point with any questions. For the next 8 days, the crew of 4 to 5 showed up on time to start the day. Marlon was very helpful and informative, he always responded patiently and politely to questions and with a smile. This crew were experts at their job and they worked seamlessly and tirelessly. They really honored all the promises made in the contract and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the job. Every day, they would clean the job site up before they left. They also communicated with our neighbors to make sure they were okay. On the last day, when we pointed out any minor imperfections(There were not many) because they are super perfectionist and careful, Marlon took care of the requests with a smile. I got William and his crew as part of a package deal with some flooring work. I did a lot of research on the flooring, but after being introduced to William, I was already on board. Seeing the outstanding reviews on Yelp, I knew this crew was solid. We had a 3000 sqft home with 10' ceilings. Their estimate was about 2.5 weeks, partly due to working in parallel with the flooring company. We got cheaper quotes, but their ability to work with the flooring team and the stellar reviews assuaged any concerns that I had. They just finished and I could not be more happy. The crew is extremely thorough and dedicated. They were consistently onsite 8am to 5pm, sometimes coming earlier, sometimes staying later. They stayed on schedule and were EXTREMELY careful with our personal property. They covered and taped everything, they dismantled ceiling fans, outlets, doors, light fixtures, to ensure every inch of the house was carefully painted with two beautiful coats of Swiss Coffee. The team was very friendly and appreciative of the small gestures like a fridge of drinks and snacks. They were always polite and never seemed to take a break outside of meals and snacks. It's absolutely insane how hard they work to do a good job. Moreover, they turned on the heat inside and endured 80-85F for days, because apparently it's better for the paint to dry in a very warm, arid environment, which Torrance in Spring is exactly the opposite of. Marlon, the foreman, was very communicative and let me know of any new charges (extra paint, broken switch, more supplies, etc) BEFORE going to get it so there were no surprises. They kept on schedule the entire time and they came in at cost. We also asked for a few extra things, like demolishing a pony wall and patching up the wall, and removing and installing new bathroom fixtures. Of course, there is additional cost to this, but the fact that they can do this well avoids another handyman visit. I cannot recommend William's Super Painting company enough. We are SO happy with Super Painting. They (Igor) were the first contractor to get back to us within minutes of asking for a quote. He responded quickly, showed up at our home, and provided a very thorough quote shortly after. When we accepted their bid, they got to work quickly within just a few days and also wrapped it up within a few days. The price was very very reasonable. They did a lot of prep work on the house, and in the end, the house was painted beautifully. Throughout the process we worked with William and Marlon and both were very attentive and accommodating. It's hard to do justice to Super Painting, but I'll try: 1. I genuinely wondered whether I had paid enough. What contractor ever makes you think that? They did a ton of work. 2. The quality was exquisite. I have a laser-like focus on stray paint lines, uneven surfaces, etc., but they just weren't there. I had worried for nothing. 3. Igor worked with me so nicely on issues I hadn't thought of, or a color test that didn't look the way I'd hoped. Another needless worry. 4. Igor alone is worth the price of admission. He's so much fun to work with and just a good guy. 5. When we were at the bidding stage, I kept thinking, "Why is Igor going on and on about how great this Abisai is? Sounds like a sales pitch." Well, Abisai IS that great: skilled, experienced, conscientious, and kind. I was extremely lucky to have him in charge. 6. The included color consultation is a great bonus. It made a huge difference to my project. I don't know why other painters haven't figured this out. 7. Getting all the enthusiastic compliments from neighbors has been wonderful. Not only was the cost HALF of what my contractor was trying to charge us, they did an AMAZING job! Igor was great with communication from the beginning to the end. He came out to view the property and provided a detailed estimate quickly. Fabian and Chris were the painters on the job and they were fantastic and professional; they greeted me every day and let me know of their progress when they leave and what they will be working on the next day. They did such a detailed job that covered EVERYTHING exterior, including patching up the stucco (even fixing the mistakes from my contractors), painting the gutters, drains, door trims, doors, fences, roof line, everything! They went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the work and were fixing extra little things here and there for us, no questions asked. When they were done, they cleaned up so nicely, they were even scrapping paint spots off our driveway, and they left extra paint so neatly labeled, it was unreal! We hired them to paint 9 door trims to color match the new interior doors we had installed. Abisia and David did a great job setting up, keeping the place clean, lightly sanding down the trim, and applying 2 coats of the paint we provided that match the paint on the doors. Our door trims are from the 70s so they've been painted over several times from owner to owner. The prior paint job was horrible and you can see some of the paint running that dried on like drip paint. Abisia and David didn't sand these areas down all the way as I assume the job would've been much bigger by removing all the paint and having to put a primer. I think if they were the original painters the trim would be in much better shape right now. Overall, they did a great job for what we requested. Igor the owner was nice and super responsive! Igor suggested the water-resistant primer and introduced a high-quality paint, Rain Refresh with Self-Cleaning Technology per my request for longer sustainability against water due to the sprinkler system constantly hitting the west side wall.
