Absolutely horrible customer service. Ordered a large gift for my Mother in law. They left them on the porch in the heat. Items were missing from the order. This was the second time I've placed an order from across the country for delivery on HHI. Both orders were in August, and of course, the first thing I was concerned about was delivery and ensuring the fruit and chocolate stay chilled in the heat. There was no need to worry - they take great care to deliver the food directly to a person. The service here was fantastic. The staff was pleasant and so very helpful. On Monday, 12/21, I ordered an arrangement online to be delivered on Christmas Eve. The delivery address is just a couple miles from the store. This was my ex-mother-in-law's Christmas present from her grandchildren (she already has everything she needs, but she loves the fruit, so that's what we send her). Although she was home all day on Christmas Eve, the arrangement wasn't delivered. Nice. She thought we forgot her for Christmas this year!!!!!!! When we called on Christmas Day, I was heartbroken to learn that the store had not delivered the order, or even called her to say there was a problem - she would GLADLY have driven the short distance to pick it up! It's not like this store is in a huge city, with thousands of orders being processed every day. It's Bluffton, SC, for crying out loud! She called the store on 12/26 to find out what happened, and was told they had no record of the order, then the line was "disconnected". She and I both suspect the store clerk simply hung up on her. So she called back, and spoke to another clerk, who knew nothing, but put the original person on the phone. NOW the story became "Well, we had a problem, we can maybe it get out to you late this afternoon." They acted as if they really couldn't care less that they ruined her Christmas present or that they totally failed in the Customer Service department. She told them to just cancel the order and refund my money, (According to the website, they have done so, and it'll take about a week for the money to actually be put back on my credit card.) She called to tell me, so I can make sure I get the refund. And she told me that the LAST time I sent her an arrangement, there was a problem with the delivery driver. Although she's practically walking distance to the store, she was last delivery of the day. She said her arrangement looked like it had been handled and shuffled around quite a bit - not quite as fresh and pretty as it should have been. When she mentioned it to the driver, he began to complain to HER about his job, the store, and basically that she was being a horrible person for even mentioning (however nicely) that the arrangement looked terrible. He totally didn't care that he ruined her gift (it was her birthday present!) These arrangements are expensive for me to get, and it's very difficult to find something that my ex-mother-in-law likes or needs. (She's one of those "if I want it, I just go get it myself" type people.) So to have my very hard-earned money wasted this way, and my kids' grandmother totally disappointed - twice - is very agitating. I sent in a complaint through the Edible Arrangements website Customer Service - unfortunately the online form was too short for the full complaint. It also goes directly to the store owner / manager (rather than to the corporate offices), with the promise that I'll hear from them within 48 hours. I'll believe it when (if) it happens. And what can they do, anyway? What makes up for ruining an elderly widow's Christmas by making her think her only grandchildren didn't bother to send her anything? Update: I posted this on the store's Facebook page, and they deleted my comments about their lack of service by not delivering my mother-in-law's Christmas present. Real nice, guys. I did get a call from the Bluffton store manager. He apologized for the problem and offered me 20% off my next purchase. Yeah, that really makes up for ruining Gamma's Christmas. As if I would EVER order from this store again! They can delete my comments if they want, but there are plenty of other places on the internet for reviews where they can't remove them. Wish I'd read those BEFORE I trusted them for Christmas. Update 1/1/16: I'm pleased to say that I spoke with the store OWNER on Monday about this situation. Dean also called my mother-in-law and apologized to her. After speaking to both Dean and my mother-in-law, we may give the store one more chance. Dean has promised he will personally make sure the order is done correctly and delivered as-promised. We'll see. read more

Ordered birthday balloons and chocolate covered bananas to be sent to my boyfriends work for his birthday. He called me to thank me and when I asked if they were good, he chose to be honest with me and said that he only tried a bite of one and, "it was the most disgusting thing he'd ever tasted." He then went on to say, "I think the bananas were rotten." How embarrassing? I immediately called the store and they said no one was available to talk to me. I wished for the problem to be fixed immediately, because it was his birthday "that" day. I then called the corporate number to see if they could help. At this point, all I wanted was a fresh batch be sent out again and that he would receive them on his actual birthday. They said the store has to have the chance to correct the error and they have 48 hours to respond to my complaint. Well....what good does that do? His birthday is today. I finally got a call back from someone from the store. And a refund on the bananas was promised. I then set them a FB message after store hours to inquire why it hadn't happened. I spoke to them the next day and they accused me of choosing the wrong gift for my boyfriend and that "he must not like bananas." Excuse me? Then they said they don't keep credit cards on file, so they would have never just refunded me without getting my credit card again. Then why did they say they would? I then called to speak to corporate about how awful I was treated by their staff. They apologized and said they would take care of the refund and it would take 10 days. I'm currently on the phone with them, as the refund has still not gone through. This is a very frustrating experience. read more

If I could give this business a "0", I would have. I requested a delivery for an extremely important occasion (sympathy) and I was told that the recipient was out of their delivery range (they were only approximately 20 miles away). I pleaded and even informed Adina (not sure of the spelling) that I would pay extra to have the bouquet delivered. She immediately stated that they would not deliver outside of their route. I asked her to check with her manager and again I was told that they would not deliver outside of their route. There are no other stores in the area where they would have impeded on someone else's route. I called the corporate office to see if they could assist me and the representative called the store, at which time Adina called the owner for the corporate representative. They wanted to know what I was going to order, and the order for the bouquet would have been over $100.00. The owner said no! Absolutely terrible customer service. I use Edible Arrangements in several states and have never experienced such a non-caring attitude. They did say that if I could have someone pick it up, they would through in a box of strawberries. Really? I'm going to ask a grieving family to go and pick up my gift to them????!!!! This has put such a sour taste in my mouth but I know that this is not usual for Edible Arrangements. SEVERE let down. Price gauged and then NO delivery. There's a pandemic going on and every single dollar counts. I paid a $20 (absolutely absurd) delivery fee for my Mother's Day order and nothing even arrived. I spent over $100 trying to make my mom's day special and now I'm empty handed and broker than I was before. Now and essentially all day, no one will answer the phone at your store, corporate won't answer the phone in general, and I'm shut out. My order still says "your order is being arranged".....for over 24 hours my order has been in "arraignment". I need a REFUND, a call back, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ANY KIND. I'm truly shocked you would price gauge and then hold my money during such a difficult time...You'll tell me it'll be delivered tomorrow (5/11) and you'll assume I should live with that as a reasonable answer, but it's not and it won't suffice this time. I didn't pay a fortune for a delivery to arrive on a non-holiday. Have some decency - seriously, it's appalling. read more

I give this place no stars. And this is why. I ordered a Valentines arrangement on line for my little grandson several days in advance. I paid extra to guarantee Valentines Day delivery, provided a contact phone # to call if necessary, and gave landmarks and a description of the house in case the delivery person couldn't find it. I alerted my son about the delivery so he could be on the lookout. Valentines Day came and went with no delivery. When I called first thing the next morning to ask why, I was told that the delivery person couldn't find the house. They admitted that no one called the phone number provided or checked the directions. They asked if I would like it delivered the next day and I said yes but only if the manager agreed to take the extra $ I paid for the V-day delivery. She took my contact info, told me the manager would call me, and hung up. When I didn't hear from anyone after several hours I tried calling them again. My call went right to a recording and I was put on hold. I waited for 10 minutes and no one ever answered. I called 3 times and no one ever answered. And I had to listen to a recording of how great their products were and why i needed to order it all as soon as the customer rep came back on the line. Do I need to tell you how that felt? No one ever called me but the arrangement was delivered the next day without any problems finding the house. The day after that I called the credit card company and disputed the charge. Am hoping for the best. I have been a loyal customer of Edible Arrangements for many years but I will never use this franchise again. read more

This establishment warrants no business. Their attitude is they will get things done whenever they want to and the customer be damned. Yesterday they attempted to deliver an arrangement but no one was home to accept it. They left a notice on the door. I called the listed number to request a delivery window for the next day and was told it would be delivered between 10 am and noon. At noon I called and was told that it would be delivered whenever the driver got here. Waiting all day for a delivery is not an option. HELPFUL - NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Corporate headquarters should shut this place down before they ruin the brand. read more

I would give this store zero stars if that was an option. I ordered an edible arrangement to be delivered yesterday, 9-25-15 for my future sister in laws bachelorette party. They didn't deliver the arrangement because no one was home to sign for it. They left a door tag with the number to call. So My future sister in law called back yesterday and spoke to someone in the store who said it would be delivered today. One of her friends stayed back from the bachelorette activities today so someone would be there to sign it. My future sister in law just called me and nothing ever got delivered today as promised. The store is now closed and the customer service is closed also. This is absolutely ridiculous and I expect a phone call from the manager first thing Monday morning for a full refund. read more

I had an awesome experience at this establishment. I went in to order something off the shelf and was there wasn't much to choose from. Valentine's Day is in 2 days and most of the items in the refrigerator were already sold. The ones that were available were not what I was looking for. I was offered help and when I asked for a specific item I was asked if I could pick it up the following day. My daughters birthday party is out of town tomorrow which made that option impossible for me. They went above and beyond to prepare my order while I waited. They were extremely busy with Valentines orders and still managed to make me feel like a valued customer even at the last minute. read more
