I should have known better once I looked at the overpowering 1 star reviews to this location the day I placed my order. The woman who claims to be the manager at this store is comical at best. SHE gets to decide that what I ordered for my mother the day before Mother's Day was incorrect and what they delivered WAS correct. She purposely doesn't give her name because that gives her the power to speak to me the way she did when I called; not once but THREE times because she said it was "too early" to deal with this so she hung up on me TWO times. I called to dispute calmly and she decided to speak to me roughly because I knew what I had ordered and she just couldn't possibly be wrong. She was speaking in a condescending manner, yelling over the phone that I'm not getting my refund because what I received was correct and if I wanted a refund I should have taken it back to the store. But when I spoke to corporate, they never told me I had to do this and I called the very second I saw that what was delivered was NOT what I ordered. And she refused to believe the fact that I have PROOF of what I ordered and proof of what they delivered. Seemed like they purposely chose not to call me to let me decide if I wanted a replacement or to cancel my order just so I wouldn't cancel the order. No one should be ordering from this store with how disgusting this witch is to her customers. She wants to tell me she knows exactly what they sell at their store and yet she had no idea that chocolate covered strawberries do not ONLY come in a box. Needlessly rude service - avoid at all costs. I was just chastised by the owner for contacting customer service to deal with an issue - primarily I never received an order complete email. I was told it was standard practice to not send those on major holidays. She ignored me when I mentioned the phone system was down so I couldn't confirm, as was the website. She also really didn't like that I mentioned that there were open food containers and spilled food on the service counter. An unexpectedly bitter and combative to a simple customer service request. I order a fruit box for my fiancée who had surgery and what they sent her was way below average. Here is a sample: *Strawberries were undersized and probably left over from another order..some of the fruit--strawberries and bananas, were too soft to be fresh fruit * Bananas that had holes in their center and had already begun to rot. After seeing reviews here it's a shame some people had bad experiences! I on the other hand had a very good one, maybe it was a good day? I hope it'll be consistent from now on, called ahead had my box set up! The young gentleman took my info and said it'll be ready in 10 min I came after a few hours, store was clean and he came out from the back right away greeted me and handed my box, he was very polite!, off I went and opened it up to find 12 ct of delicious fruit, very plump strawberries, nicely sliced apples and good size chunk of bananas! Very disappointed recently, Server was rude and fruit the honeydew was crunchy and no taste melon not ripe, this was not edible arrangements fruit. Strawberries and pineapple were great. I have called customer service 5 times and they did nothing. Customer service called the store store number 489 and they were told bad connection call back later.I was told by customer service to go back to store and they would make it right, went back and same rude lady was there even worse attitude, when i explained what happened she stated it was a fresh cut melon and they have nothing to do with the taste.Unreal customer service was called again and did not seem to care. I placed a same day delivery today to surprise my husband at work. I ordered a few things at 10 something in the morning and he almost didn't get it because the delivery man / woman got to his job around 4 something in the afternoon.my husband gets out at 4:50pm from his job. He got his delivery but a few things were off. Flowers weren't given to him, kissing emoji balloon was switch to another balloon. I called a few time at this location to speak to them about my order and they kept hanging up the phone on me. i finally spoke to someone and the lady was very rude and she knew my flowers weren't delivered and instead of refunding me right away or even giving me a courtesy call and letting me know they don't have a few items from my order. she tells me when they don't have a balloon they just give you another one. she is just refunding me back for the flowers. i even told her i was missing letters and she caught a attitude and she said that she knows the letters was there because she put it her self. She seems like she was having a hard day and taking her attitude on me for no reason. The employees go to the store right in your face letting you know that you are paying $30 for them to dip your fruit in chocolate. When I opened the box the size of the strawberries were unbelievably small. I was embarrassed to have bought this as a gift. Fruit & chocolate: yummers; Customer service: sokay. I bought a small box of the dark-chocolate covered strawberries and they were sooo sooo good~ if you like that kind of stuff! The strawberries were of a decent size, fresh, and sweet. The chocolate was actually really good. And they look adorable in the box! I picked up at the store towards closing time so it seemed like the staff was preoccupied. They took a long time in the back while the front was left unattended. A lady came to buy a cup a fruit. She got tired of waiting and just left the bills on the counter and left with the fruit. Each time I got edible arrangements from them it was a compete disaster! My fiancé tried to surprise me with the biggest edible arrangment they had. He stalled me so I could be home so I after hours of waiting my fiancé just came out and told me and said they were suppose to be there hours ago. I called them and they said they were closing I would have to wait until tomorrow or meet them somewhere. I drove to them and picked it up and it wasn't refrigerated. The second time was valentine's day 2015 again he tried to surprise me with the teddy bear and balloon. Again it took them so many hours. My fiancé went downstairs as the guy came up. I wanted it to be a surprise delivery at my mom's job so she could feel special and flaunt a little but she never got it. I was so disappointed. I call their 800 number and they told me they had a number of similar complaints because local stores were probably swamped with Mom day deliveries. Fine. I accepted it. but tried to call the store the next day to cancel my order, and got a lecture from the dude about specifying the time and maybe my order would have gotten through and blah blah blah. They charged me a $12 delivery charge, I would expect them to find parking and deliver the arrangement. Stay away! This store doesn't deserve one star. I ordered a same day gift for my partner, they said it could be done. The "Just Because" arrangement was delivered at 8pm -- not a problem. In fact, at first we were happy to get the delivered arrangement until we looked closer. The strawberries seemed as if they had been sitting out for a day, not fresh at all. And the amount of kale, usually used to as garnish dominated the product. It was as if they hadn't enough fruit so just piled it on as a last resort. The next day, I called the store hoping to resolve the issue: receipt of a horrible arrangement and was told that the manager was not in and would call me back at 2pm -- he never did. I called again at 2:57pm, still no manager on site and no call back. I also called the Edible Corporate office twice. The second time, Corporate said their records showed an arrangement was going to be delivered from the store which is 15mins. away from me. At 7pm, no one had called from the store, no one called to say there would be a replacement sent -- no one called. At 8:03pm still no order had been delivered. I would like to think I'm not out $77.30. I have ordered from Edible before (not this store) and know that they offer a good product. But if some thing as small as a replacement order can't be achieved, I will never order from Edible Arrangements again and I will be sure to tell everyone I can to stay clear. read more

Such a disappointment on Mother's Day. They delivered the wrong basket. I decided to drive all the way down there which was about a 30-40 minute drive just so my mom could have the fruit basket I actually ordered. The one they sent was all wrong and she doesn't even eat honey dew or cantaloupe...the fruit also looked old. I ordered the one with the chocolate covered strawberries and pineapples. this place deserves zero stars. i placed an order 05/07/17 to be delivered on mothers day 05/14/17. i called the store several times today to get a timeframe for the delivery, all day nobody answered. in the afternoon, i get a call from a woman stating my mothers bouqet was delivered to her and the driver left before she could realize this. she then called a while later saying the driver came back to take my mothers bouqet from her and deliver her bouqet. it is now night time and still no sign of the driver with my mothers bouqet. the store is now closed and so is the 1800 customer service number. this stores disorganization is preposterous, i will be demanding a refund first thing in the morning. never again!!! read more

She works in a school. I requested to have them sent asap as this is a school. They obviously did not deliver. In fact it is 4 p.m. and they have not. I forgot that they didn't dip the fruit as I had requested and the fruit were dreadful. I order Edible Arrangements very, very often from multiple locations (Mt Vernon, 96th and Broadway on the upper west side to name a couple). I have never had an issue with Edible's on the whole, but this location is special. PLEASE take my word on this; where there is smoke, there is fire.
