When trying to figure out what to send to my husband for our anniversary, a coworker mentioned edible arrangements. So I went with it. I found a cute anniversary arrangement on the website. I was able to place the order online. They also offer little extras that can be added in addition to the bouquet. So I added two mylar balloons and a sculpted pineapple in the shape of a 9 (to represent our 9 year wedding anniversary). I was able to write a note as well. The only thing that I didn't see was the time I wanted it to be delivered. So at that point, I called. I spoke to a nice guy named Cesar. He explained to me that there's an open time frame for delivery and a route they follow. It made sense, but I explained that I needed it to be delivered anytime between 10:30a- 4:30p. The reason is it's going to be delivered to a business, and those are the hours of operation. Cesar said not to worry, and he'll make sure it gets delivered within my time frame. So the day came (Sept 15th)! Edible Arrangements has a tracking system where you can track where your order is. I was tracking all day, lol. Finally saw it out for delivery, I think around 2:00. My husband later sent me a text me saying thank you. Now I'm giving them only 4 stars because of the person delivering. My husband said a guy called him having trouble locating the business; keep in mind this was a surprise for my husband, so he was clueless about what the guy was talking about. Also, my husband is at work, so it's difficult for him to answer personal calls while at work. But anyway, the guy continued not to locate him for a while until my husband came outside, which is weird because when I made the order, I specifically provided them with the name of the business. Was he not seeing the huge sign!? So the guy saw my husband and then just dropped it off on the ground. Not sure if that's because of covid or if the guy was just being rude. They for sure need to hire a new driver. Side note, the fruit does need to be eaten the same day. Or else it goes bad really quickly. read more

Service? What service? I arrived at 4:21 only to find a closed for a break sign on the door. Mind you, there was a store hours posted right next to it and store hours are until 5pm. There was a number listed in case you needed help, I called left a message asking to call me back or open so that I can place an order. About 10 minutes later, a lady peaks out and signaled to me that the store was closed. I pointed to the hours posted on the door and she signaled closed again. I try to be understanding, but unfortunately, if an establishment has current posted hours online and on their storefront, it's not cool to find the business closed. Terrible delivery service. Someone ordered me an edible for my bday so I wasn't expecting it. I received a call I happened to answer from a delivery driver names Shaunt who was frantic and rude since he couldn't find my address. He told me where he was which I just knew he was still on the main road and needed to get to my actual street. He kept asking how to get there and I asked if he could input the address into Google Maps to give an accurate location. He then asked me to meet him outside which I did. When I saw him I approached and he rudely handed me the bag as he was still walking away. 1. This is a gift so I wasn't even expecting someone so when calling maybe introduce yourself and be kind in asking you were a little lost. 2. Don't deliver an item by rudely handing the bag and being grumpy without even saying anything. read more

I placed an order for same-day pickup, and selected a pickup time of 5:30pm. I get to the store and the lights are off and no one was there. I was confused and thought maybe I misread the closing hours online, but I double checked and closing wasn't until 6pm. I walked all the way to the front door and there was a sign out front indicating the store was on a break and to call a number for assistance. Who takes a break 30 mins b4 closing?! Clearly the employee knew I was coming otherwise why would they leave that specific sign w phone number. I called the number and left a stern message that I was there to pickup my order and that no one was there bc apparently the store was on their break. I received a phone call 5 mins later from a man saying "the girl went on her dinner break." It was an excuse, but unacceptable in my book. He asks if I could wait 20 mins and I said NO! So he offered to have my order delivered and would throw in a "free brownie" in my delivery for the mishap. I don't want/need anything for free. What I wanted was a service that was not received. No apologies and no accountability, just a bunch of unprofessionalism. Before driving away I checked my email and it showed that I had picked up my order, which was clearly a lie bc the store was closed and on their "dinner break." My order eventually arrived to the proper location, but there was no "extra brownie" as promised for the mishap. To make matters worse, I had to leave a tip when I placed my original order and they clearly didn't deserve any form of gratuity. I will be submitting a complaint to corporate bc clearly lack of customer service and overall experience is a complete failure at this location. read more

Whoever the owner/manager/supervisor person is, they're rude, arrogant, condescending, and disrespectful. You're complaining that the orders cost X amount and have to be delivered on time but you're complaining that the uber driver has multiple deliveries and he does not trust them to deliver and be on time and threatens to cnc the order for you. All because you refuse to let them see your phone to confirm a delivery address. read more

Horrible experience! I ordered chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered on Father's Day and they showed up looking absolutely nothing like the photos! I called the store to ask them to remedy the situation and they said they could redo the order on another day but they were specifically for Father's Day. We've received many Edible Arrangements from various locations through the years, it's always been delicious as a receiver to get a fresh tasty somewhat healthy (still has sugar and a few have chocolate) alternative to typical junk food gift baskets, 'tho it's perishable, so you need to eat it fast to enjoy the fresh flavors. I'm not sure at all of the actual costs involved, since I've only been fortunate enough as a receiver and not a generously gracious sender of these gifts. I'll say, it's a gift item that could be perfect for someone to receive and is unique and tasty. Perfect to share if it's a family or office, and for those who love fruit, they'll go bonkers in excitement for such a bouquet, which is much better than flowers that may smell nice, but wilt, since you can eat these treats! This store saved the day! I had ordered a fruit bouquet from another store days in advance of my son's birthday. I showed up to pick it up only to find that store closed (was supposed to open at 9) and when they finally picked up the phone I learned my order had not been prepared. I called the Manhattan Beach location right away and they very kindly and quickly put together a beautiful bouquet for my son's classroom to enjoy on his day. I truly recommend them. I would give no stars if possible. On last Thursday, May 18th, I placed an online order for a birthday arrangement to be delivered that day. I received a call around 11am/12pm from the delivery driver to let me know the business was closed that I was sending my order to. The driver told me he was taking it back to the store. I asked what time they closed, he said 5, and I said I would try and make it back before they closed to pick it up. I was not able to get to the store. On Tuesday May 24th, I called the location at 430pm to let them know I wanted to pick up my order , or something comparable in price to delivery myself. I was told that my order was thrown out. At no point between Thursday and Tuesday did ANYONE from the store call and ask me if there was a better time to try and redeliver, nor did anyone call, email or text me to tell me they were about to THROW MY ORDER OUT and see what they could do to fulfill it. I let the person on the phone know I wanted to speak with the manager. He said the manager was not in, but would be in tomorrow around 2pm, and would have her give me a call then. Needless to say, on Wednesday May 25 I received NO CALL from anyone at that store to let me know anything about that order. On today, May 26th, at 9:10 am I called what I thought was the store, but it ended up being the corporate office. The operator tried to get in touch with the store and said no one was answering for them. I ended up filing the compliant with their corporate office for a refund. We shall see if someone from the store FINALLY gives me a call back. Nothing to discuss though. Just go through a different store, Edible Arrangements are great. This store in Manhattan Beach is awful. read more

So Valentine's Day I placed an order to get some fruits delivered for my husband I even paid that $14.99 delivery fee for it to be delivered on Valentine's Day not knowing that they close at 5pm. So I gave the benefit of the doubt and hope it comes the next day but no it's now Wednesday 02/16/2022 and I still have not received my deliver. I ordered an arrangement as a gift for my elderly aunt, which I've done in the past. I received a confirmation that it had been delivered and assumed everything was fine. A couple weeks later, as I was talking to my aunt, she told me the day she received the order, the fruit was bad and the flowers were wilted, but she didn't want to say anything because it was the thought that counts. After hearing about this, I made a complaint online and never heard back from the store manager. I called the store to follow up directly and no one ever answered. I finally called corporate and they told me the manager read my complaint and put in notes that they won't issue a refund because the complaint wasn't made soon enough, despite me making the complaint when I became aware that there had been an issue. Corporate wouldn't help at all and said it was the manager's decision to make...essentially to take it up with the manager because there's nothing corporate can do. It's unfortunate that I have to leave a bad review but this has been a horrible experience to have as a customer. No one was helpful or understanding, no one listened, and they obviously don't care about what they're sending to people. read more

I ordered a large fruit arrangement today, being the type A that I am, I wanted to see the product first before gifting it (as it seems the reviews for this place are less than stellar). However, my experience worked out so perfectly! I placed an order online for a pickup at noon but if you don't check out in time then the clock gets pushed back a bit. So by the time I checked out the time that I could pick up was 12:30. I wrote a note saying I would like to pick up at 11:30am if possible. It was 11:00 already, yes I know (eye roll) I just wanted to make sure they understood I was on a time crunch lol. They called me within 3 minutes after I had placed my order asking me to clarify the time, I told them I just needed it done ASAP. The girl said she would start right away. I had to run some errands and actually didn't get there till 11:50 and the arrangements was set and ready for me in the fridge with my own personalized note printed. Parking for this place is behind the buildings as there are no street parking allowed out in the front (unless you want to be rear ended by traffic behind you). It's across the street from a car wash for those of you who prefers to look for "landmarks" as oppose to dealing with the north/south direction. I can't vouch for their delivery service, but their customer service concerning responsiveness, timeliness and finish product are wonderful! read more

I ordered online the night before picking up my arrangement. When ordering it asks for a pick up time. I put 12 noon. I showed up around 11:45 to pick up my arrangement and was told it wasn't ready since the order said noon. I said no problem, how long would it take, and she said 10-15 minutes. No problem. But she kept repeating it would be another 10-15 minutes. I can kill 10 minutes easily but she was making me fell really uncomfortable with the repeating that it would take another ten minutes. While I was waiting, she brought me a chocolate covered strawberry to sample. Not only was it a nice touch, it was delicious (note to self to add to next order). Ten minutes went by and the order was complete, wrapped, and ready to go. The overall arrangement was nice but somehow it didn't look as plentiful as others I have personally received from the same location. Maybe because I 'rushed' them at the last minute? Since they claim they don't get many complaints about it the intend to continue. Avoid this location, a delivery from them is not a gift - it is a food curse.
