Wished that I could give -000 stars you guys don't deserve a star at all!!!! This was for our anniversary, which makes it even more disappointing. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Edible Arrangements. I placed an order for pickup at 6:00 PM yesterday. The store's posted closing time is 7:00 PM, so I arrived early at 5:30 PM only to find the establishment completely closed. I immediately contacted customer service and was told the employee had to leave due to an emergency. While emergencies happen and that's understandable, what is not acceptable is the complete lack of communication and resolution afterward. I asked if someone could go to the store to fulfill my order or if I could receive a refund. The representative assured me that the manager would contact me shortly. No one ever reached out. So I was left without my order, without any follow-up, and without a refund. That is extremely poor customer service. If a store closes unexpectedly, there should be a clear plan in place to contact customers with pending orders and resolve the issue immediately. I will now have to go back to the store myself just to try to get my refund. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be disputing the charge with my bank and escalating the matter further. I purchased a 3 part arrangement for Valentine's Day which included a balloon which they failed to deliver. I contacted them immediately after delivery to notify them of the error. The young man who answered the phone checked with someone and said they would refund my credit card which was reasonable since it was already late in the day. He also stated the refund would appear in 3 days and they would email me a confirmation. Ten days have passed and still no refund nor confirmation or communication. During that time, I also attempted to call the location multiple times (business was open) and it went straight to voicemail. Left a message and sent an email both of which remain unanswered. I ordered a delivery to my mother in law for Mother's Day yesterday. I was quite excited as chocolate covered strawberries are one of her favorite deserts. I was saddened when my husband informed me that one of the strawberries had mold growing on it. As my efforts to send my love were ruined. This store is great and the customer service is top notch! I used the website to order a next-day delivery to San Ramon and the check out process was very easy. After a few hours I realized that I had forgotten to leave a note on the gift, from whom it was. I called the store and asked them to leave a note as well as deliver it as close to their closing time as possible, and they did both things. The fruits were delicious and generously covered with chocolate. The person receiving the gift was very surprised and happy, and said that this is a unique gift. I got one for Vday this year from my hubby. Upon receiving, I wasn't too excited as it didn't look fresh or appetizing. It was moist aka wet on the bottom. I took it home to share and eat it the same night. I started to peel off all the chocolate and only to find out the strawberries are not fresh. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I placed an order for my grandfathers birthday, this is his first birthday in his new home since my grandmother passed. My order said that it would be delivered on December 19th by 7pm, which is his birthday. I called the Pleasanton location all day (probably at least 20 times and left a voicemail for them to return my call) to ensure that this was being delivered on time and no one answered or returned my call. The following day, I called the store and reached an associate (a young lady) who tried to help me, but could not even find my order. She then told me, after being on the phone with me for 25 minutes trying to find my order, that her driver needed a gate code or is having an issue with security. I let her know that there was no gate or security, my grandfather lived in a regular neighborhood. I then asked her how the driver was going to deliver my order when she couldn't even find what my order was. She said, "you have chocolate covered strawberries right?" I said, "no". She said, "oh yours is the one going to Dublin right?" I said, "no". She then said, "ok, I found it, my driver will be there in 20 minutes". I asked again how her driver would deliver my order if she didn't know what my order was. She went quiet. I then asked to speak with a manager and she hung up on me. I attempted to call back and no one answered. I then attempted to contact the customer service number and I got hung up on there too before even reaching an operator. This is ridiculous and has been a terrible experience. I will not only not recommend any edible arrangements to anyone, but I will steer everyone I know away from any locations, especially this one. I have attempted to order edible arrangements before and my order wasn't delivered on time, then too. I should have known. I ordered it 18 days in advance on Oct. 6th and never showed up for the Birthday on Oct. 19th . Been calling for 2 days and no one answers. My basket Finally sent, however, it wasn't what I paid for. The recipients sent me a picture of it and its not at all what waa pictured on the website!! Tried to call them again to ask about the mix up and still no one answered me. Luckily, I got Corporates number and called to make a complaint about this location. After 20 minutes on hold, apparently they finally got ahold of the store and they said they would send some chocolate strawberries to the recipient.
