I visited Edible Arrangements with a friend and had a very disappointing experience. We initially wanted to order a mixed-fruit chocolate cone, but the employee told us they were unable to mix fruits and that we had to choose just one type. Based on that information, we changed our order. Later, we noticed that a mixed-fruit chocolate cone was actually listed on the menu. When we asked about it, the employee admitted that her boss had instructed her to tell customers they couldn't mix fruits when the store was busy. That was frustrating enough, but then she ended up making my friend a mixed-fruit cone anyway, which made the whole situation even more confusing. What made this even more disappointing was that the store wasn't busy at all. My friend and I were the only customers in the store the entire time. The only other person who came in was there briefly to pick up a pre-existing order. Despite that, we waited nearly 45 minutes for our chocolate cones, only to receive cones that were barely filled halfway. Between the misleading information, inconsistent service, excessive wait time, and underwhelming portions, the entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. My grandma loved it! I ordered her a bouquet with cookies for Mother's Day...delivery was on time and I'm sure it wasn't easy dealing with an 89 year old with Parkinson's so thank you for that! My grandma said it was really pretty and tasty too, all fresh fruit. I figured I'd order her something different and something she could snack on easily that was healthy for her...with a little (naughty) sweet snack to go with it. Hit or miss! I ordered an arrangement for my sister and it was perfect. It looked great and the fruit was fresh and delicious. Later that day, a second arrangement arrived (ordered by my sister's friend). It was awful. The kale was wilted, the fruit was going bad. It looked like it had sat in someone's hot car for the entire day. The second arrangement was very large and probably cost our friend over $100....was a huge disappointment. read more

Just received a valentines gift from my boyfriend. I was so surprised. I am so lucky to have him. But the arrangement however, was completely broken, all the strawberries were falling off and the chocolate broken, and the vase was broken. The cookies were a joke, and he apparently ordered me balloons as well which were not included. Definitely would recommend going to a local store and purchasing chocolate covered fruit there instead. In all of the years that I have made purchases from Edible Arrangement's, I have never encountered any issues up until today! I ordered an arrangement to be sent to my dad for Father's Day at his place of business. The card that I had written out to my dad was never attached to the arrangement. Needless to say, my father never received his gift! When I contacted the store and spoke to a manager to address the issue, she indicated that the card was attached and there was nothing she could do about it. The managers unwillingness to rectify the issue and curt attitude has left me a bad impression of the franchise. It's Father's Day for crying out loud and I'm sure she wouldn't have the wanted the same to happen to her dad. Thanks for ruining my Dad's Father's Day! read more

I contacted the store the next morning and informed them about this and they apologized and gave me a partial refund. Despite the false advertisement, the treats tasted great. The company did deliver a beautiful arrangement, with gift card, on time. The confusion which led to an unfavorable review was solely due to those receiving the package at the delivery address. My daughter was supposed to receive a $68 arrangement at her down on V day. I called the store at 6:30pm because they were open until 7P & she still had not received it. No answer, telling me I was calling outside business hours, & the voice mail was full. So now its the next day, mid day, & Im getting the same voice mail, & not allowed to leave a message. Im not sure how Im supposed to remedy this or get my money back if I cannot contact anyone at the store! ** EDITED - I was able to find the arrangement at the Housing office. So they DID deliver it to the school - BUT, not being able to contact the store OR leave a voice mail, is infuriating when you are trying to get an answer to something you paid a lot of money for. read more

My favorite smoothie place with the worse service. People don't wear name tags nobody greeted me. The cashier didn't know the prices took over 10 minutes to make the smoothie. Low staffed, untrained with products and the grab and go has only one edible arrangement that seems to actually be sour and not so fresh after all. For such a product I expected better service not many of them in the area and would like to see them grow however , the production isn't keeping up with the masses whatsoever ever. read more

I just went to pick up my order that was supposed to be ready at noon. At 12:45 the order was still not ready and was going to be 5 to 10 more minutes. My son had an activity at 1 o'clock that I had to drop him off at so I could not wait any longer. I asked if they could offer delivery since the product was not done on time and they refused without charging a fee. So I have to make a separate trip all the way back out to pick up my item that I ordered to be ready at noon. A simple phone call to let me know that I didn't have to come out at noon to pick it up would have been appreciated. the store seems to be under Very poor management and I will use the Kingston location in the future. read more

Exorbitant delivery charge; flat $15 with no concern for distance- we're only nearby but they offered no adjustment. Also, NO senior citizen -or any kind of- discount. If I could rate this Poughkeepsie location a ZERO I would. Wish my daughter would have read the reviews for this Poughkeepsie, South Road location before she placed an order. My daughter ordered an arrangement for my Birthday on the 15 of May and I never received it. I told her to call her bank and get her money back. I called the Poughkeepsie store and was told by the man who picked up the phone that the driver quit in the 14th and never deliver any orders. First he said she quit and took all the delivery and didn't tell anyone she didn't make any deliveries, then said my order was there and would be delivered this morning the 16th. I told him I wanted the money refunded back to my daughter and he stated I would not be receiving the arrangement. At this point who cares when they missed the occasion. It appears that this store has a list of excuses for their mismanagement. The man who picked up the phone should definitely find a job elsewhere, for the salvation of this business. read more

Very poor service. They failed to deliver the arrangement to my mother on Mother's Day. The called the following day 5/9/16. Was told that it would be on the first truck. At 3 pm still was not delivered. Had to call back. Was told that there was a problem and the order would be made correctly and sent out with about an hour. Arrangement was still not delivered by 6:30 pm. Never received any contact from store to inform me of any problem. I had to contact the. Very poor service and lots of incompetency Update: 5/11/2016 - On 5/10/16 spoke with the owner of the company. She made the situation right. I received a full refund and they did deliver the order. I have used them previously and was very pleased with the service. I would use them again and give them another chance. Have upgraded the rating due resolution. read more

I had surgery and my sister-in-law ordered an arrangement for me, not only didn't they ever deliver it, Edible Arrangements had the audacity to say: LIE #1: said the tried to deliver it, but no answer, LIE #2: said left a note on the door, LIE #3: said they would re-deliver today by noon, LIE #4: said they were a reputable company. Told my sister-in-law to cancel and get her money back. This example of mismanagement, is not the first I have heard about the Poughkeepsie, NY Edibible Arrangements location. I know of at least 3 similar stories of failure to deliver the product. Will never ever recommend this company. I am in the food service industry, and I will share this experience with everyone and anyone. What a disgrace, Edible Arrangements ruining such a wonderful gesture from my sister-in-law. I walked into this store because I saw that they sold smoothies - something I didn't know Edible Arrangements did! The inside of the store feels homey and smells really sweet. The employee who helped me was so nice and very patient with me as I took forever to decide which fruits I wanted in my smoothie lol. While I was waiting, I met the new owner of the store (he introduced himself) as he was just checking to make sure I was being taken care of! He was such a kind man!! Overall, the service was good and the smoothie was delicious (I wanted kale, pineapple and strawberries with a little frozen yogurt mixed in) :) read more

Horrid quality control. On two occasions now someone sent us an arrangement. Last year half of the fruit was spoiled. I don't mean slightly off I mean rotten. This time the chocolate covered apples are supposed to be lightly salted. Looking at the picture on the website there is an occasional spec of salt which would be nice. Not what they did. The backside of the apples are coated so densely with salt you can barely see the chocolate. Everyone who tried one spit it out and went yuck. The franchise owner here is obviously not paying any attention to quality. On the first bad experience they offered to make it good with a box of chocolate covered strawberries which weren't great either, of far lesser value and we had to pick them up. They should have remade it and sent it over again. This time I'll demand a refund to the sender from corporate if need be. Don't waste your money ordering from this particular edible arrangements it is just plain terrible. read more

Very poor service, order wasn't ready for pickup date and time, incomplete, they forgot the card with the arrangement, forgot the second item of a valentines special (box of strawberries). Balloons came off of arrangement when taking out of car. Girl at front counter not very attentive to properly packaging order. Called and spoken to nice gentlemen about order and they provided the missing box of strawberries but would not provide balloons. Very disappointing since I spent $135. AWFUL! AWFUL! I called the store to place an order. Before we even started the order I asked specifically if the item could be delivered before 5 that day.It was being sent to someone sick in the hospital that was being discharged that day. So delivery by a certain time was critical. They assured me it would be there before 5. Once the order was placed I asked if I could tell them what I wanted the card to say she said it was already processed and it could not be changed I had to ask her 3 times to change it as it was not just from me. Finally once that was done I had to ask for the total and thank goodness I did because she did not give me the free shipping that at the beginning of the order I told her I had. So then she had to issue a refund... NOW besides all the headache of ordering by 5:15 there was still no delivery I called the store they assured me it would be very soon as they had left at 3 for deliveries. The hospital is literally 3 miles from their location. Now by 6:15 it still was not delivered I tried calling the store and even though their hours say open until 8 there was no answer I had to call corporate and be on the phone for 20 minutes while I was at my son's baseball game. The lady on the phone filed a complaint and then was able to get ahold of the driver who said that he was just pulling up to the hospital, now in the mean time of me being on the phone I got a message that they were discharged but they would wait WHO, AFTER BEING IN THE HOSPITAL FOR THREE DAYS WANTS TO WAIT ANY LONGER FOR A STUPID FRUIT BASKET. I had to call corporate AGAIN now still missing my sons game so then put in another complaint but said they could do nothing else that the store needed to issue the refund or whatever. I still have not heard from them!! Now it was 7:15 TWO HOURS late and it was at the front desk not even delivered to the room! The driver was obv. NOT just pulling up seeing that it took an extra 20 minutes for them to receive it. This is not the first time this has happened from this location. It happened to my husband a few months back.
