Placed order on 2/16 for delivery on 2/17. Order was not delivered on 2/17, and apparently they tried contacting recipient for delivery. Of course recipient was not expecting a delivery, that defeats the purpose of it being a surprise. I've placed many orders and recipients were never contacted to confirm delivery. For Mother's Day this year, my husband was very thoughtful and surprised me with a large platter of chocolate covered strawberries. I was very happy I love chocolate covered strawberries. However when I opened up the platter everything didn't look appealing at all. The job was so poorly done it looked like something my toddlers would do. Edible arrangements claims to be all about customer service and quality... they have just went down hill and they continue to. And before anyone saids that is such a difficult job and that I should just be grateful.. yes and no. When I thought of Edible Arrangements I only thought they offered fruit bouquets and boxes but they recently opened their bake shop! You can order mini cheesecakes, soft cookies and of course chocolate dipped fruit! I tried a platter which was enough for three adults to share and have a few of each. Each platter or bouquet is available for ordering online or you can order in store. They also offer fruit smoothies as well! A great option for breakfast, a snack or dessert. read more

Just happen to walk in because we got food at New York New York Pizza and Point Poke. Of course, we needed dessert to take home with us. We saw they had a buy one get one free special plus a free chocolate covered apple slice with Yelp check in. We decided to order a fruit cup that looked pretty yummy, chocolate covered bananas, two cups of chocolate covered apples (totally my favorite), and of course the additional free chocolate covered apple slice. All this came out to be about $12. After enjoying our other eats at home, the kids and hubby could not wait to dive into the tasty chocolate covered goodies. I had a few samples of my favorite chocolate covered apples slices. The kids jumped right on the chocolate covered bananas. Most of them were great but a few of the chocolate covered bananas were completely black which the kids would not eat. The fruit cup was fresh, pretty, and tasted great with apples, grapes, and pineapple chunks. Overall, we enjoyed the fruit but were saddened by the crazy bruised bananas. The owner of this business should be ashamed of how they operate this location, I ordered a birthday bouquet of fruits total was 106$, Sunday morning 9am to be delivered for a birthday Monday. There was no update on order and when I called at 2pm Monday I was given vague excuses.I finally canceled the order at 7:45 pm, and the order then was delivered at 7:55pm. Who wants to get a birthday gift when you birthday is practically over. It's just doesn't look good. They had ample time for a timely delivery especially for a special occasion that should be delivered before noon. I received an arrangement from a friend for my birthday. The cantaloupe & honeydew melons were not ripe at all. You could barely bite into them. The strawberries were covered in thick frosting & that was awful. The pineapple was just ok. There were a few grapes but not many. In my opinion I found it to be a terrible waste of my friends money. Our office received a fruit basket from this this edible arrangement (3749 Bruce b downs blvd) and the fruit is awful it has no taste at all. None of the fruit was ripe. I called the store and spoke with the owner Vicky and she told me that she tastes everything everyday and everything is good and ok. She told me that the strawberries are in peak season and are from Plantcity and very good! Peak season for those strawberries is in March. I'm surprised by the previous ratings of this shop. My experience was very much the opposite. Tyler (I believe the front desk young man) was very patient with my aunt and me as we selected arrangements. The manager or franchise owner was very accommodating to our delivery request as we were ordering two bouquets for the nursing team at the local hospital, but we wanted to cover both shifts. I believe she herself dropped off the night shift bouquet on her way home. From the nurses, we heard the quality was in top form. I couldn't ask for a better experience and I appreciate the flexibility and going the extra mile for us. read more

I had received a delivery for bereavement with deepest and dearest condolences of loosing a family member before the holidays. The delivery I received had dead, broken, dry, and some slimy flowers . I called the store, spoke to the manager who doubted me on the phone. So I went into the location hoping there was maybe a miscommunication and now they could help me in person. I didn't go in there looking for a problem, just some help replacing the flowers and I waited patiently as I let other guest go ahead of me. After I told the employee my issue. The manger hid in the back and had the employee help me who was rude, spoke down to me, belittled me and stated "I don't see anything wrong with the flowers. That's how they're supposed to look"... "there's nothing I can do for you" at this point, out of frustration I told him this is not the way you speak to a guest. Continued to state that people pay a good amount of money for these arrangements and considering the circumstances they were sent for. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Placing an order online is easy but the store and online have clear miscommunication. If you place an order for same day delivery to your local store, there should be no reason for the store to tell you they WILL NOT DELIVER because the driver was already in Tampa. How is that the customers problem? If that is the case, then the customer shouldn't have been able to place an order for same day delivery. Not to mention I would've not known about this unless I personally called the store. I called to asked to be called prior to delivery because my infant daughter is sleeping and I did not want her to be woken up by a doorbell. Which is when I was THEN notified that my order wouldn't be delivered because the "driver was already in Tampa and was not going to be driving out there again." Wow. That's great customer service. Currently on hold with the corporate office and I will definitely be letting them know. Especially that their store are not complying with company policy. The policy states that "during busy times residential deliveries can be made as late as 9p" and "the store can call you to reschedule a delivery that was placed for same day delivery." This location is horrible! I have sent an arrangement and received an arrangement, both experiences were terrible! The arrangement that I sent I did not get what I asked for and it arrived broken. When I called and talked to the manager she actually argued with me that the recipient must have broken it. After much debate and her talking to the driver they realized it was damaged during delivery. It was a hassle to get them compensate me in some way. My friend sent me a picture and it looked awful. Ignoring the broken fruit It was not fresh the melon was mushy and the pineapple wasn't ripe, too hard to eat. Then I received an arrangement at a later date the delivery guy was RUDE! Mike called me and was patient with me while I tried to figure something out as I'm not in Florida. In the end, I felt that he went way above and beyond and was incredibly patient. The delivery guy was rude when he called me because I wasn't home yet and he was at my front door. I was in the hospital and had no clue someone had ordered an arrangement for me. He pretty much insisted that he leave the arrangement with a neighbor. The ONLY fruit that was barely edible was the chocolate covered strawberries, and they were VERY over ripe. All of the other fruit wasn't near ripe enough to eat. My friend ordered the arrangement for me, and I'm sure spent a lot of money on it. Was not to happy with my experience. I ordered a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for my aunt and uncle to say thank you. I guess they tried to deliver them and no one was home. (They don't give you a time period of delivery, they just say a date. Is someone suppose to sit at home allll day until they arrive??) so I called and asked if they could deliver them the next day. The lady was not very friendly and seemed mad that no one was home. (Maybe they should give you a time period between the hour of 4-6). They got the strawberries the next day but apparently some of them were rotten and my aunt made a complaint but never told me because she didn't want me to feel bad about it. I got a call 4 days later and the lady was basically calling my aunt a liar about her complaint saying that the strawberries weren't rotten (but she also informed me they were old and the same ones they tried to deliver before). I told her my aunt and uncle are not ones to lie and if they said that they must be and I would like new ones sent out to them today. She gave me some pushback but said fine I'll send out half a dozen today and told me to make sure someone is home allll day. I told my aunt they were coming again today and to make sure she was home. She left the house for 5 minutes to pick up the kids...and what do you know it the delivery guy is there. The lady from the store called me furious that no one was home again (like why is this my fault?) she was very rude and I told her I would find out where they were. She then had the driver call me who also proceeded to be rude to me telling me "no one is home again and I've been knocking and all I hear is this loud dog..." and kept going before I could even get the word in to say she's turning in and will be there in a minute just leave them on the front porch if your that mad. So he did. Overall not a good experience. I will never order something from here again. They need better customer service skills and better estimated times of deliveries.
