They have been around so long and this is what they have mastered. They are the ONLY tailor I have found in Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Garden Grove that really has experience on how to sew your Pointe' shoes and cater to Ballerina's in competitions. They have embroidered my dad's jackets with names so beautifully and much more. Cost? They charge $18 for Pointe' shoes at this point and Jacket embroidery is about $30 and up. Why this place? You may pay a few dollars more or less, but they will help you out in times of urgent need. We rented the Groom's suit from Edindale and what should have been simple turned into a mess. At the fitting, everything seemed fine... but on the wedding day the dress shirt they gave me didn't fit at all. They clearly mixed up the shirts, even though I had tried on two and noted that one was way too tight. What made it worse was that all of my groomsmen rented cheaper $45 suits elsewhere, and every single one of them looked better fitted than the Groom. I had a wedding during the weekend but was last minute shopping and found out the things I wanted, they needed to be fixed. So I was told to go to a person that tailor. Luckily the person that told me that gave me a recommendation and called the store to see if they would tailor for me the same day. I came to Edindale to drop off my pants and Osanna immediately worked with me. She figured out what I needed and told me that it will be down the same day and that I can come tomorrow to pick up my pants. I swung by the time she told me to come and bam the pants were fixed. Recently got married and needed my custom wedding dress to be altered, (hemmed, took in the waist, added a bustle) and Edindale did a wonderful job! My dress was form fitting and made with a very textured material, so it was no easy feat but they really saved the day. I took the dress in about a week and a half before my wedding and it was perfect! They also dressed my husband, the groomsman, and the FOB and the FOG. These people are FRAUDS, they don't know what they're doing, do not come here! My husband has an expensive championship dodger jacket that cost 300 dollars. It had a little stain on the front of it so he wanted to get it cleaned before adding the newest Dodger win to it. He's worn in only a handful of times since it's such a warm jacket. Took it here and paid $60 dollars to have it cleaned. They said they have to send it out it'll be ready in 2 weeks, he went to pick up and they said it'll be another 2 weeks. He finally picked up his jacket. Kept it in the plastic and when he finally went to put it on the jacket had been RUINED!! MELTED!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]He went back to this place and talked to the owner who said, "what do you want me to do? I can give you 60 dollars credit."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What a joke. This is the best tailoring business in HB! I went there for my wedding dress, and the owners took such amazing care of me! I frequent this business for cleaning and tailoring. The tailoring is always perfect. Yesterday, I witnessed a local "Tic Tok-er" (?) act rude and entitled. The owner handled it well. I would have told the girl to go somewhere else if she wasn't willing to pay $30 to fix her $100+ Kardashian dress. Don't be discouraged by the dry cleaning looks of it. They were amazing at fitting my suit like a glove. Incredibly sweet people. They were very helpful in getting me fitted within 15 minutes tops and I truly highly recommend this place to anyone who is in need of a last-minute suit or tux. Renting suits from Edindale was the best decision we made. They are so very kind and made us feel so welcomed. I went in with my "now husband" to inquire about renting suits for our wedding. They sized him and fitted him in minutes. He looked so handsome! WARNING! CUIDADO! TAHDHIR! JINGGAO! KEIKOKU! WE RECOMMEND TO NEVER USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT. THEY ARE RUDE AND WILL LIE RIGHT TO YOUR FACE. My wife and I are new to the neighborhood and decided to check out our new local cleaners. We took a Lacoste windbreaker in to be repaired and also to get some basic items cleaned. When we picked up our items the bill seemed a bit high but we didn't think of anything of it at the time. When we arrived home, the Lacoste windbreaker was not repaired. When the receipt had clearly shown the repair was indeed completed. This caused us to examine the bill further. We then discovered the over inflated prices and saw that they billed us for cleaning a ballroom gown, along with other items which we do not even own. We then returned and asked why the repair on the Lacoste windbreaker was not completed and about the fees on the fictitious ballroom gown. The female attendant immediately became extremely defensive, very loud and angry. We didn't want any trouble and left and with the issue unresolved. We attempted to disputed the charges on our credit card for Unfair practices there at edindale cleaners. Surprisingly the owner fought the issue, refused and still did not comply to the request of the credit card company to return or funds for no service provided. We simply overpaid for a service we did not receive and still bummed we did not get our Lacoste windbreaker repaired! I came in to get a formal dress altered for a wedding..I was between sizes and the dress was way too big, but the size down was too tight...I was wondering how it would ever fit... Osanna did an awesome job... she listened to the areas I was concerned about... she completely understood, and she altered the dress is a way that I will feel very comfortable, and not have to worry at all!! If I could give a negative review, I would. Brought in two brand new, unworn designer jackets to be tailored. One was tailored too much the other not at all. I paid 180 bucks. When the high-loft (with tags, unworn) jacket was returned it was stained/burnt on the front. When I brought it back in, proprietess tried to gaslight me and told me I had worn it. I tried it on after getting home, and then immediately took it off when I saw the stain and that the material was now crushed, AND it hadn't been altered. I couldn't wear it to the event it was for (video cameras pick up everything). They told me they hadn't pressed it. Don't walk out the door of this place without trying on tailored items and checking their work. They screwed up, and I had all three of them telling me I had worn it or done something to the jacket, and I haven't. I'm a seamstress, I believe in paying people for the good work they do, and I really don't like being accused of lying to people. That really pissed me off. I won't be back. At least they eventually gave me my money back for not doing the alteration, but I had to make a stink to even get that. Consider spending your money at another business. I feel sorry for the dude that was in the shop watching all the "baloney" go down. 45 years in business doesn't mean you cant make a mistake, and accusing a customer of lying is bad business. read more

I never give poor Yelp reviews of other businesses, but wish I could give this place 0 stars. I had been a loyal customer for years, and I always knew that they didn't do an amazing job with tailoring, but it had been decent enough - until now. I strongly advise you to avoid going to this business for tailoring if you want your clothes to remain in good quality. I dropped off a bridesmaid dress to be hemmed/altered, and when I went to pick it up (by the way - they never called me to let me know it was ready), my dress was COMPLETELY messed up. They sewed the straps SO incorrectly and I couldn't even put on my dress!!! When I told him that he did it completely wrong (even though HE was the one who went over everything with me) and expressed confusion/concern, he said "stop being worried -- you're making me paranoid!" Are you KIDDING ME??! Of course I'm worried - how about you take responsibility for your mistakes??! They then readjusted/re-sewed it again - the straps were still messed up/way too tight. They then tried again and again -- it took 6 TIMES for them to make it semi-DECENT again (6 times of me getting dressed, trying on the dress again, taking off the dress again, etc.), and in the end they sloppily threw my dress in the bag and ushered me out (and it still doesn't fit me correctly). The owner initially charged me $65, and after I asked about giving me a better price due to their mistakes and me being there for OVER AN HOUR, he reluctantly brought the price down to $60 -- which is still SO OVERPRICED seeing as I am extremely unsatisfied by the quality of their work. The owner (the man) was so rude the entire time, constantly interrupted and talked over me, and tried to make ME feel bad for being concerned about the quality of my bridesmaid dress (if you've ever been in a wedding, I'm sure you know how stressful it is to make sure everything is right for the bride and yourself). My (very expensive) dress is now almost unwearable and uncomfortable to wear. I would've been more understanding if they cut down the cost for all of the troubles, but they refused to go anywhere below $60. Because of that, I, nor my family (who had been very loyal customers to these people) will NEVER return to this business ever again. read more
