I was going to Meadowlark Cleaners down the road for many years and noticed things were just getting more expensive all the while getting clothing back damaged. After finally getting fed up, someone recommended Ace Cleaners (which is in the same location of the old Gold Coast Skate Shop from back in the 80's, which the amusing irony of going from skateboards to dry cleaning made me feel old.) So far I've been there a few times for dry cleaning and once for alterations and every time the experience has been excellent. The staff is very friendly, the quality of the workmanship is impeccable and their pricing is super reasonable (didn't want to use the word "cheap" due to the potential derogatory connotation.) Brought in 3 pairs of pants to be hemmed and altered to fit better. After a month or so the stitching was coming un done. Brought it back to show the problem and asked to get it fixed. After a few days I came back to pick up the pants thinking there would be no charge for the botched work. They charged for all the repairs for their horrible work. Will not return to this place. I called and requested a price quote for five identical garments and they quoted me a very reasonable number as soon as I walked in they attempted to charge me more than double what they quoted. I don't know if this is an isolated incident or if these are people who are prone to Peyton switch tactics but I know that they're competitors will do the job for less and having quoted me a number the fact that they wouldn't even honor it the one time I took the time to drive over and drop things off he's very insulting and speaks to the lack of concern for customer service given how many other dry cleaners are in that immediate area I cannot recommend enough avoiding these guys read more

I love the old owner, but since she sold this business the prices increased dramatically and the quality has gone done. During the summer I had my winter items cleaned. I did not need my coat until today, seeing as how it's the first real cold day we have had. They shrunk my peacoat! It used to cover my bum and now it only goes half way down. It barely buttons. The arms ha e shortened. The lining in my coat is exposed because the sleeves are shorter. And it wasn't really clean! If you value your clothes, don't come here! I'm so upset because I cannot get another coat like this. Attaching a picture from this am. Would never have thought that I would have had to check in summer to see if it had shrunk. I went 5 mins before they close and was in desperate need to get my white coat dry cleaned! I have a stubborn pen ink stain that would not get off. I tried so many methods and had exhausted all of them! I can't believe I didn't go to them sooner. The man at the front was so nice! Terrible place. I used it for about a year, and did not go to other places, but recently they ruined 4 pairs of men's pants by ironing it. Its impossible to wear them anymore. Please see the pictures attached. When I asked for a partial compensation, I was told I did it myself and now I can go to a small claim court to get it resolved, which I don't want to do. They promised to come to my home on Mondays and Thursdays to pick up and drop off dry cleaning. When there was no pick up yesterday, we called them and they told us "we probably can't do pick ups after all". So now, I am going to need to find another dry cleaners. Poor communication. Best dry cleaner I've been to! They do great work and are efficient. I have tried bringing in my favorite jeans to tailors and other places to fix a tear with a patch, but for some reason everyone kept saying they wouldn't look the same. I brought them here and they easily took my jeans and fixed them perfectly! They also fixed a silk shirt I had with holes and patched it with something that worked well with the color. First time using Ace cleaners and brought in an assortment of apparel to be dry cleaned along with a seam to be repaired. Pointed out a stain on an article of clothing and was told it wouldn't be an issue. Upon picking up my clothing, the stain was still there and I asked if it was tagged with a sticker as damaged/not cleanable and was told that it was. Upon inspection with the attendant there was not a sticker.There was no offer to try to clean or credit me for that article of clothing. Will not return. read more

There was a lady that worked here and she was awesome! Now the anti social son and dad took her place. The lady, I believe her name was Susie, always greeted with me with a friendly smile and a sincere Hello. Now, the son and dad wait for me to speak before they say anything. They are the reason why I'm taking my business elsewhere. I recently took a blazer and dress in there to be altered. $30 for the jacket and $55 for the dress. I wasn't even measured. This is my to go place to get my uniforms dry cleaned. The staff here are phenomenal and extremely compassionate towards the military and the rest of their customers. I needed a quick turn around on my formal uniform and they graciously accommodated me by having it done (two pieces) in an hour at no extra charge. Even after they turned their machines off for the day. I was beyond words by their generosity as they told me, "It's our pleasure to serve you since you already serve the country with your service." I typically don't leave negative reviews and I am certain that it may be new owner kinks that are being worked out but I will never go back to Ace Cleaners. I have been going there a few years and the previous owner was phenomenal. They changed owners June 1, 2021. I had a large amount of dry cleaning that I picked up today and the order was a mess. First they could not find it. Once I got home items were not pressed well, my husbands uniform was not in its own plastic and the pants and shirt mixed in with other items. One of the belts to a dress is missing and the zipper on my daughter's jeans that I paid to have fixed does not go up. Very disappointed. Just came in for the first time. I needed my pants hemmed because they were a bit too long for me. It was $14, which is almost what I make per hour at my job so I was a little caught off guard. I came back 3 days later and grabbed the pants but the stitching was kind of loose so I took it back. It was all fixed up and ready the next day and the pants look great! They used a blind stitch (I think) and it's impressive because you can't see the stitching on the outside of the pants at all. It wasn't perfect the first time but this is a family business and they were apologetic and fixed it up quickly. I'd definitely go back if I needed some dry cleaning though because not every shop can be honest and prepared to fix a little mistake for a customer. read more

We finally found a dry cleaner business we can trust! Great service and great value!!! The owners are so sweet! The turn around once you drop off is very quick! My husband takes a lot of pride in his clothing especially since he's an officer of the court! Always had to switch dry cleaners bc the collars of his shirts always came back still dirty! Loved the previous owners and I love the new owner too. Excellent customer service. They always make you feel special, like a family friend. I always enjoy supporting this business. They are not the cheapest option snd do run a tad expensive on some things, but stand by their work and even did our comforter over again at their cost when some stains didn't come out. Ok, I've had my laundry dry cleaned at Ace Cleaners several times but had to stop going there after this last incident. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. However, there have been 2 incidents of them staining my clothes. First incident was a brand new blouse (never worn) that I dropped off to get cleaned (yes...I have OCD and needed to make sure it didn't have anyone's BO on it). It was a basic cotton/rayon blend blouse with no stains. I just wanted the clean, crisp scent before I wear it. I picked it up and it had a stain right on the front of the blouse! I told the lady that this shirt is brand new and that it wasn't dropped off with a stain. She said that she would run it through again and I could pick it up 2 days later. I pick up the blouse later (stain free) and just ignored the incident as a 1 off mishap. I continued dropping off my cleaning, incident-free, until....I took in a vintage cotton dress that someone had stepped on. It was very clean aside from the dirt on the bottom of the skirt. I showed the spots to the lady and she kindly marked the section with red tape so they would pay attention to that area when cleaning. I picked up my dress a few days later only to find bluish staining all over the back of the dress AND the dirt stains were not removed! I was horrified! This dress is VINTAGE and could not be replaced! I immediately showed the stains to the lady and she said that she was sorry and would run it through again. I think this was the final straw because the dress was so expensive and irreplaceable. Plus, I didn't take the dress home first. I examined it immediately just to make sure the stains were removed. It looked as if she laid it on top of or next to dark jeans or a dark material. That was the only conclusion I could come to. The bluish stains did come out (as well as the dirt stains) after her running it through for a second time. Thank goodness! It's a shame that I have to discontinue using Ace Cleaners. They are friendly and have reasonable prices. I just can't risk them damaging another article of clothing. I think they just need to keep the cleaning area...well...more clean and tidy. read more

I went to every dry cleaner on the intersection of Warner and Springdale, and this was the ONLY place that had decent prices...by a long shot. We are very pleased with the customer service (very nice lady that is always there). They really do a top notch job, prices are great and the nice lady keep me going back!
