First off, everyone greeted me as I walked through the door, every station was clean, vibes were right, and music was great. Moments later, Manny introduced himself, got me setup in his chair, asked what I wanted, and got to work. The professionalism, cancer, and warm demeanor of not only Manny, but everyone in that shop, is part of the reason I keep coming back after a little over 3 years of fierce loyalty. Other reason I keep regularly scheduling cuts with Manny is because he's the genuine article and a savant with clippers. Plus, the guy is easy to talk to. When I asked if walk-ins were accepted, I was told if I could return the following day and was simply turned away with a "sorry." I needed the service that day otherwise, I would have waited and gone to my regular barbershop. I chose this place based on proximity and Yelp ratings, but there was no real flexibility when it came to walk-ins. As a local resident, I decided to try a new shop closer to home. By 3 PM, all three barbers were already booked. While it's great for the business to be fully scheduled suggesting they must provide excellent cuts it was disappointing to be turned away at the time I arrived. Wishing them well in the future.

I got messed up with Alex, who was very nice guy and seems to be really into the Dodgers like me. We show cans and then he offered me a beer, but I took them up on water instead. He got right to work on my hair cutting it the way my future wife watered it. Then he even upped the beer and made it blend in with the hair and cut it to the length she also required for it. Both of us were very happy with the results, and it was a decent amount for the whole shot. He deserved a very good tip for the work, and I will keep him in mind the next time I need a good haircut like that in the future.

He's always on time and always ensures he uses my appointment time to its fullest, considering every detail of the cut. I've also seen him cut all kinds of hairs (men and children) and never seen a dissatisfied customer. There is a sense of camaraderie between all the workers at this shop which makes up for a great atmosphere to be in. They'll always be playing great music or might even have a sports game on. The first two I found on yelp were permanently closed, and I happened to walk by The B Room which was open and doing a thriving business of men's haircuts. I am so glad that I peaked in and asked if they also cut women's hair, and that Rocia was able to fit me in for this fabulous hairstyle. She took her time, made sure every hair was just the right length, and I'm absolutely in love with the style.
