We try to keep a list of place we want to try going, my wife has her lists on Yelp, I do more Google. When we find places that we are interested in and our lists match, it's a place to go to. This place has gotten a lot of publicity for a good reason. It's good. Burgers are a pretty simple item to cook but for some reason some places do it better than others. This is one of those places. We really enjoyed our food! I would only recommend going to fresh cut fries, I understand the reason its tough, as it adds another level of work for a small spot that the owners work everyday from open to close already to add one more task but it maybe worth it since the burgers are so good to match it with something great too. Service is what you expect from a burger joint order at the register and they bring it to you when it's ready, which is pretty quick. Happy with how it went especially given the busy lunch crowd. As far as places to sit and the inside of the place, just keep in mind its a burger joint and a busy one at that, so get a seat when you can and enjoy the fresh food. It's got plenty of room for most but be aware a big group is gonna be a challenge. Overall, excellent place with great food and hard working folks making a living, I love places like this! Give it a shot you will be pretty impressed!

4/25/26 Mushroom Swiss, cheeseburger w/ mayo and jalapenos, fries and onion rings..all delicious!

Our first visit today and we will be back, so good. My burger was seasoned so well. Was appreciative of the amount of mushrooms they put on the mushroom Swiss. Loved the addition of caramelized onions on it. The fries were crispy as were the onion rings, both seasoned well. The ranch sauce tasted homemade, so good. My hub added jalapenos to a plain cheeseburger with mayo. They loaded it with chopped pickled jalapeño which was nice. He said the fountain Coke was the best he's had in a while.

Heard great reviews and couldn't wait to try the burgers! Overall it was....just ok. Burger was ok, fries were ok. On the greasy side of things. Overall wasn't bad but not as spectacular as some of the reviews insinuate it is. If I'm in the neighborhood, sure I'll drop by. But wouldn't go out of my way for Edmond's.

We went here on a weekend and was very busy. We found this place on the Yelp 100 list and decided to check this out. This is a family owned business and the father, daughter and mother work there. Then, there is a chef. We paid $32 dollars total for the meal. We ordered the Blue Burger which has blue cheese, avocado and patties. We got a large fries and shake. My wife got a BLT. Service was really friendly and kind. Burger was nice and juicy as well. Was it the best burger I had, nope, but it was top of there and I had many burgers. I still love my Farmer Burger however. The place is definitely a hole in the wall and nothing too fancy. I enjoyed this place very much.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Very friendly staff. Its not huge and most tables were taken when we stopped by on a Saturday night. Burgers are fresh and juicy...very fair priced. You can tell they take pride in their service and food. Will definitely visit again

I was looking through the write-ups for Edmond's -- almost all five stars. I read the seven two-star-or-lower reviews that are posted ... those people look like they should have stayed in bed that day. According to the reviews, sorted by oldest first, I only gave them 4.5 stars for their first Yelp review three and a half years ago. It is only fair that I re-review my rating. We've eaten everything on the menu at least once over the years. Everything was better than good and we now have our go-to favorites. We didn't know Edmond and Aida at the time i.e., my Yelp critique was sincere. So it is only fair that I update my original rating to 4.8 stars. :-) You can round up :-) I had to :-) I'd give my rating five stars plus if I could talk Edmond into adding pork tenderloin sandwiches, as they make in Iowa, Indiana, and Missouri, anywhere above the Arkansas River, for all of us northern immigrants who are getting too old to drive I-35 to get our fix. IYKYK If you miss the fried pork tenderloin sandwiches as I do, let Edmond or Aida know.

Here is your 117-word review: Edmond's Burgers & More in Plano was a great find during our visit for a football game at the Ford Center. We saw the strong Yelp reviews and decided to try it. It's in a corner strip mall with plenty of parking, and the mid-afternoon crowd was light. My wife ordered the bacon cheeseburger with no onions, and I got the Southwest Burger with added bacon and a fried egg. Both burgers were huge and delicious. We shared fries with ranch and had fountain drinks. The service was excellent, and we loved seeing the owner's young daughter helping. The bathrooms weren't great, but the food made up for it. We would happily return when in the area.

Had lunch here with family. We ordered Jayden's Burger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Hamburger and sweet potato fries. They're all taste great. This burger joint I consider a hidden gem in the Plano area. They make fresh and from scratch burgers and tasty shakes. Friendly and helpful serving staff. Nicely decorated and well lighted burger joint. Plenty parking space.

SHE who cashes my retirement check got a recommendation to come here. Right on. We have been to many burger joints in Plano and this one was great. Surprise that all burgers served with two hand-pressed patties. Way too much for us so we took one off and brought it home for leftovers. Make out own for supper. Limited seating so busy weekend or lunch hr might do better with take out. Going down on short list of repeat burger place.

    Southwest Burger
    Autumn N.

Very delicious burgers and fairly priced. We got the southwest and bacon burger with fries and onion rings. 10/10 burgers and amazing onion rings. Fries were a tad burnt. The ranch was also very good. The owner was very sweet and welcoming.

Hunt, the Royale with Cheese, and the cheese fries (No Surprise). I had the Blue Goat (no onions). It was good overall, though I wish the blue cheese flavor was a bit stronger. My husband got the H.L. Hunt and really enjoyed the candied bacon. Our son had the Royale with Cheese and it filled him up so much that he didn't even touch fries--and he loves fries, so that says a lot. Speaking of fries, the order was HUGE--easily enough for 5-6 people. If we come back, I'd definitely dig into those first while the cheese is still warm and gooey. By the time we got to them after our burgers, everything had kind of stuck together. Overall, a fun, casual spot with solid burgers and massive portions--just plan for a slower-paced experience.

The decor and theme are inspired by New Orleans/Creole/Cajun vibes, and it's beautifully put together. The layout of the location is a slight "L" shape, so seating can be a bit limited during busy times. It's a seat-yourself setup, and they provide QR codes at the tables for you to place your order and pay when you're ready. Now, onto the food and service. Unfortunately, the wait for both food and drinks were longer than expected, even as the rush began to die down. Our pretzel appetizer didn't arrive until near the end of our meal, and sadly, it was overcooked. Drinks The beer was great and a definite highlight of the experience. Here's what we ordered: Appetizers Giant Pub Pretzel ($13.99): A 12.05 oz pretzel served with signature beer cheese and beer mustard. Unfortunately, this dish was a disappointment. Despite being called "Giant," the pretzel was thin, and was a bit overcooked. While we enjoyed the beer cheese, the beer mustard could have stayed in the kitchen. Loaded Broccoli ($8.99): Steamed broccoli seasoned with Cajun spices, topped with melted cheese and your choice of chicken, beef, or pulled pork. I chose chicken, which was delicious and well-seasoned. However, the cheese was a huge letdown, it had an odd, roux-like texture and flavor that nearly made the dish inedible. Entrée Voo-Dill Pickle Pizza ($12.99): Made with roasted garlic pesto, fresh mozzarella, thick-cut pickles, and a special Voo-Dill seasoning. While the concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. The pizza crust was undercooked, and the pickles seemed like they were added at the very end instead of being baked with the pizza. The garlic pesto was the highlight of this dish. Desserts -King Cake Slice ($3.XX): Clearly store-bought and not made in-house. It also took a while to reach our table, which was odd considering it's pre-packaged. The kitchen area even had the King Cake box visible. Beignets ($7.99): Over-fried and served with icing that was overly lemony, which overpowered the dish. Side Order Jalapeño Slaw ($2.99): The star of the meal! It had the perfect balance of mayo and vinegar, with a fresh kick from the jalapeños and Cajun spices. I wish I had ordered more! I think this place has a lot of potential. The concept is fantastic, but the kitchen needs improvement. I do plan to return and give it another try because the space and the idea are great. Hopefully, next time the food lives up to the vision!

The service is also very kind to lete grab a lot more ketchup packs and you do feel the "butcher" vibes in the food when you're eating.

This place was nestled inside of a food hall which was a cool concept. I ordered the 3 slider combo…read moreand got the following: 1. Cowboy - Beef, pimento cheese, crispy onion straws, jalapeño cilantro aioli - DELICIOUS. the pimento cheese was the star of the show and made the slider taste extra good 2. Smokehouse - Beef, smoked brisket, Cheddar, pickled red onion, house BBQ sauce, rosemary lime aioli - I enjoyed this the only downside was the brisket was dry and made me so thankful for the drink that came with my meal. 3. Popper - Beef, fried jalapeño & cream cheese, pepper jam, bacon, cilantro, rosemary lime aioli - DID NOT ENJOY. Unfortunately the jam that this burgie came with just overpowered the whole thing and not in a good way. It did not mesh with the rest of the ingredients and the popper had no flavor or filling. It just flattened when I took a bite and I got nothing but a mouthful of that terrible jam. The waffle fries were ok just nothing special. The onion rings though....OMG so crisp, so fresh, so flavorful. Would just come back for those. Service was fine, we were the only people waiting to order so it was quick.
