If you haven't tried this spot it is a must try sushi spot. Great service great sashimi if you are a sashimi lover. I have been here a few times over the past two weeks and will be coming back again! I have tried all of their low carb rolls (and another one with rice) and they have all been delicious! My waiter was the Asian guy he never came and brought me a single refill. I spent almost the entire time I was there thirsty. I'm somebody who can drink five waters while I'm eating so the one I had definitely didn't suffice. I also needed a fork the entire time, but he didn't check on me, but maybe once at the very end. He was super nice, but just kind of oblivious and his accent was so thick and his English was so bad. I really wanted to tell him that I liked the old rice that they had a couple years ago that came with the bento boxes but I knew that he wasn't going to understand what I was saying so I couldn't communicate with him efficiently. What I mean by that is they used to give you a whole side of rice back in the day but these days when you order a bento box with them it's pre-mixed with the meat so mine was already mixed with the barbecue chicken and it was a really tiny small amount of rice. Like seriously I would not have paid an extra two dollars for fried rice if I knew it would be such a tiny amount pre-mixed with the chicken. I liked it better when they gave you a full serving of rice on the side of the bento box. i'm not saying I hate this place. The food is good. I just had a bad experience this time. read more

We celebrated my birthday here a few weeks back and there is not much to complain about. The hibachi was phenomenal, better than others that I have experienced. The cook named "hun" or pronounced as "Haun" is absolutely Incredible. Very friendly and can cook to everyone's accommodations. Makes jokes and gets everyone involved and laughing. Umm my first experience here.....was not so great. If I could just give a star based on how staff handled the many issues we had, I would give a 3.5 star. So when you think Hibachi, the first thing I think of is the cool little show the chef does for entertainment. We didn't get any of that. I wish I could of recorded the only thing the chef did for "entertainment" , he lit two little onions slices...and I mean the absolute smallest onion slices, burnt it on fire....not steaming, burning smoke.... and did the train whistle, shifting 1 milliliter to the left and right for about 10 seconds. For real I am not exaggerating!! He did not engage with us, did not even tell us his name. He was horrible at portion size. If you were the last to get served, too bad you got the smallest portion size. He did not talk with us AT ALL. The food was not great and it's cause of the chef. The noodles were over cooked, the vegetables were raw. We ordered medium rare steaks and it came out well done, and the person who ordered well done got burnt ends. The really sad thing is 2/4 of the Hibachi dinners we ordered was inedible. The plate was basically not touched and they would not refund both plates, only one. The staff could see the full plates, and they felt that a full refund on both dinners was not possible. That was disappointing and mainly the reason why we will never be back to this place. We appreciated the refund on 1 dinner and the extra small discount, but they saw 2 full plates and should of refunded 2 dinners. We weren't there to get a free meal. The staff members, Cody and Aiden were very apologetic and understanding. They really went out of their way to listen to our concerns. Our first visit was a good service experience. The food was great but, the sushi was stale. Our second visit for our Moms birthday started off great. The food was great again as the service was good. For some strange and odd reason, the waiter brings over watermelon towards the end of our meal without request. "My manager told me to serve you all watermelon." With a confused look, our family all started at each other and then looked around to see if this was part of their service with the other guest. Our Hibachi section was full with two families, but ours was the only one being served watermelon. This didn't happen on our first visit and we were very confused that it happened on the second. We don't know what the reason was for this and stick around to find out. We are undecided on returning to this establishment. read more

You already know the answer... Soy sauce only, not the usual sauces that come with hibachi. 2 shrimp on a steak and shrimp combo. That's what you get when you don't order shrimp. Lunch service is pretty quiet here. We were here to celebrate a new job that I got offered and it was definitely an experience since I have never been to a hibachi restaurant. The chef was really nice and definitely gave us a show as well as really big portions. The 10-year-old portion is easily enough for a petite adult. We had decided to get the Toyota roll which was also really good and nice in size enough to share. They do not have the biggest wine or sake menu however the Riesling was good. read more

I met some friends for dinner here tonight, and we had a wonderful experience. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and were promptly seated at one of the hibachi grills. Our server was very prompt and attentive, the food was DELICIOUS! I'm vegan, so our server took great care ensuring my food was meat-free. She even took it upon herself to substitute the standard soup with a vegan one, which I greatly appreciated. I knew it was going to be a great meal when I pulled up and there was a big sign on the door that they give discounts to military, fire, and police. I'm none of those, but I am a proud Navy Mom. Parents decided to take me here for my birthday dinner and I am glad they did. Always have been a huge fan of Hibachi places and this one definitely fits that bill. It's your typical Hibachi set up with standard tables in the front and then a special room for all the Hibachi magic to the side. I was surprised how many people were clamoring for the Hibachi action rather than the no-action near the front of the house. We were seated immediately as a reservation was made, our server got us everything we needed in the way of drinks and the like. She was also very friendly as well as patient with my nieces who were a bit demanding. Yes there were a few face in palms moments when the nieces said something a little off-color but kids will be kids and our server knew that. It wasn't long before our Hibachi Master (as I like to call him) came by with his cart and entertaining attitude. I usually get the filet mignon meal when I got to places like this but settled on the Sukiyaki (thin beef marinated in Japanese sauce). Of course the meal comes with rice (plain or fried), noodles, soup, salad, the works. It was very good and very filling! I was also treated to an embarrassing traditional birthday drum song and wore a hat while they sang and drummed to me. I couldn't make up my mind 2 or 3 stars. So I'm like don't wanna give it too low. Came here to celebrate a birthday party. We had the back room of hibachi tables. Was about a party of 20. It was already pre reserved. The place was NOT ready for us. Drink orders took forever, I ordered water with lemon. It kinda was frustrating. They had more then one person helping too. We had 3 hibachi cooks cause we had 3 tables full. The show is always great. But they did slack and play with the us, like other places I've been too. Can't win them all. I ordered the tuna tower and my daughter spicy salmon sushi. Wasn't worth it and the salmon was chopped up mixed with spicy mayo. Not the kind of spicy salmon sushi I like. Everyone makes them different but it didn't even taste good. My daughter ate 2 and gave them away. The tuna tower was $15 and all and all is was alright. My other group on the hibachi were in the same boat with their food. It was okay. Nothing spectacular. $$$$$$ would not have the urge to come back to this place. We have been longtime customers, but pretty disappointed these past few times. They have changed chefs or something, the calamari roll is nothing like it used to be. Other rolls have been inconsistent. We love dining in, but today we took it to go. We had two cold rolls and one warm (the calamari). They packaged the calamari with the California, leaving our California roll warm and disgusting. I do wish they would have packaged the two cold rolls together. Husband really enjoyed the crazy roll, I know he will get that one again. Overall, we will be back, hopefully next time there will be q more positive update. read more

I thought the place was going downhill after a number of visits over the years, but I decided to give it another shot tonight. It appears the restaurant has brand new owners. The food is much higher quality, the restaurant is cleaner, and the waitstaff seems happier. My previous review was not very flattering, so I'm happy to say everything was great this time around and will keep going back.
