We dined in on a busy Friday night and even though we had a reservation, we still ended up waiting for about 10 min. The staff were friendly and got us seated as soon as our table became available. The chef definitely entertained us and we had a great time! All of the food was amazing, but I especially enjoyed the springs rolls. They came in piping hot and fresh. Enough of those had me full before the main course. Nonetheless, my hibachi experience was great and I look forward to coming back. read more

First of all my wife ordered steam rice, they brought fried. And charged us for it. Then had to send medium rare steak that was blue, back. Ordered extra vegetables on my dish, they added a whole onion. Took my plumb wine before I was finished, then added 18% tip to the bill like we were in the hibachi side of the restaurant. We just finished eating our meal and waitress came to our table and said they needed our table to put with other tables to accommodate a party of 11 and we needed to leave or they could put us somewhere else. She said this 3 times as she needed us to hurry and get moving. She was very adamant about the table we were sitting at. We were getting ready to leave anyway as we had just boxed up our food but to be so rude in her approach pissed my husband off to no end. He told her we would not be coming back. WE WILL NEVER go back to this establishment again....never. And the food was subpar. This was our first time visiting this place. I have been to this place several times and tonight I called a couple times to order some noodles. On one occasion, they picked up the phone and hung up immediately. On the second occasion, she picks up the phone and says "we're closed" and hangs up. It was 815 pm and the website says they close at 8:45. I called back and another gentleman answered it, and explained that the kitchen was closing soon, but this is no way to speak to a customer who's calling your business. This is a way to lose customers. I will no longer spend my hard earned money on people that are so rude. Plus, on more than one occasion their food gave me diarrhea anyway. read more

Went to Tokyo Harbor for lunch on a Thursday around 12:15 with my wife and daughter. The ambiance could best be described as sad. It seemed like everyone in there was depressed. Don't get me wrong, no one was rude, it just seemed like any cordiality wasn't genuine. We both had a Bento Bowl with Teriyaki chicken and fried rice. I was not impressed and my wife didn't even eat hers. The water was gross. My daughter had a spider crawling around on her drink lid, which did provide a little entertainment. Maybe we should have gotten hibachi. Or come at another time besides a weekday lunch..... I don't think I will ever find out. I have no plans to ever go back. read more

I ordered a dinner for my wife & I as a pickup order. I ordered a hibachi steak & scallop dinner with the steak cooked medium rare. The steak was well done, which made it difficult to chew -especially since I'd had dental work done last week. Additionally, there was an additional item that we didn't order with an absolutely rancid odor to it. This is my 3rd time as a customer there, but the only time that I've ordered it as pickup. This place has seen better days. There were several years in the seats and the lighting was very dim. I've seen this place for a while and decided to go despite the lower stars they had. I went for lunch with my coworkers and had the hibachi lunch special with veggies. This came with soup and a salad. The salad was fine, but the soup tasted like it was made with a meat broth even though I asked the server to make sure it wasn't. This was a no meat meal, so I was surprised when my rice came out with shrimp on it. Not only do I not eat meat, I'm allergic to shellfish. I moved that section off my plate and ate some of the rice and vegetables. As soon as I got into the car, I started feeling queasy. I almost threw up but thankfully didn't. Today was my first time ordering from here. This rating is simply over the non-sense I went through trying to place an order over the phone. I ordered hibachi steak and chicken and I don't like the veggies so I asked to substitute them with fried rice or noodles. Nope....."that's now how we do things". So the girl recommends ordered side dishes of steak, chicken, noodles, and fried rice. So I agree. That was $34 and if I ordered the hibachi meal it was $32. Ok, whatever but then I ask for shrimp sauce and steak sauce. Those will be $.25 each but they're free if I order the hibachi meal. I tried explaining that I'm paying more money ordering it the way I am so I shouldn't have to pay for sauces but again...."that's not how it works here". So unless the food is absolutely amazing, this will be my one and only visit here. read more

If I could add a zero I would. I called ahead since we haven't lived here long. They said no call ahead and to just come in. We are a family of 5 and today is my husbands 30th birthday. We walk in a they said 15-20 mins wait and had me sign up for a text. Did that. Then there was no room so we sat at the bar and got drinks while we waited. 30 mins went by and the I asked the front desk girl and she said it will be 30 mins maybe longer. I said can I speak to a manager? She said she will be back to speak to you in a minute. Then we waited and she never came and found out they only have 2 cooks today. Like why can't you just be honest and communicate the wait may be longer due to this or that from the beginning? Instead say one thing then except customers to not be upset. To top it off the front desk girl went to the area behind the bar and was talking to a waitress about the exchange. Like grow up and learn to communicate. We haven't lived here long and we will not be going back. Can't trust what they tell me. Great job ruining our evening but shoot out to the bartender for making my husband a green drink and understanding why we were leaving. Wow, this was terrible. Let's start with the "chef", not entertaining, not good at his job. The food was BAD. The chicken was dry, the shrimp was overcooked, and I didn't car much for the veggies. Best sushi in forney! This is a cowboy roll, it is delicious. If you like California rolls and you're scared to try something new but want to try something new, then order this one. It's fried, Not spicy, the top part is crab salad and no it doesn't have a seafood taste. The soba noodles are amazing, I would recommend the beef ones instead of chicken. It has more flavor. I didn't get a picture of the fried rice but their fried rice is also amazing! Customer service is always so nice. No complaints at all. Kid friendly as well. And they have alcohol drinks ;) the environment is great for any date night or just family dinner. read more

My family and I went there today for dinner tonight at 6:30pm. Sad to say that the hibachi chef made a racist remark by turning off the light and saying "I can't see you" to our African friends. Then, after seeing how uncomfortable we all got, said it was a joke. Spoke to the manager and she did not acknowledge the fact her chef made the racist remark, she merely pointed out how "diverse" the restaurant was and said it was just a joke. If we were to make a racist "joke" about their ethnicity we would have been kicked out. So why couldn't they acknowledge the joke was not funny and in fact offensive? Left feeling very disappointed. I came for hibachi dinner and was disappointed by the service we received. I have been tu several hibachi establishments and this was hands dueño the worst. Upon being sat we were instantly greeted by our waitress, she took our drink orders then shortly after came back to take our orders. I'm extremely sad to write this review. This restaurant has gone so far downhill since my last visit a few years ago. The people who run the hostess stand now dress in sweatpants. That was kind of my first red flag. After we came in and got on the waitlist, there were at least six or eight other people who got on the waitlist after us, but when we got seated, it was only our party of three and two other people. Why not fill up the table and Enjoy the whole group experience? The chef came out, and while he was perfectly competent to cook the food, he didn't have any showmanship or personality, which was disappointing. I'm a very picky eater and have eaten at this restaurant a number of times. I don't like onions or garlic, so I always request my food to be made without. Every time in the past, they have made my food on the hibachi grill, just separate from the other food so there's no onions or garlic butter. It's never been a problem. Tonight, however, they asked if it would be OK if it was prepared in the kitchen to keep the onions and garlic out of it. Sure, whatever, I said that was fine. However, when my food came out, it was loaded with onions and it was also drowning in some kind of teriyaki sauce. I've never had it soaked and sauce when it was cooked on the grill in front of me. Everyone else ate their dinner while I sat there waiting for the server to come back. She never came back until she brought the bill. At that point, I finally was able to tell her what was wrong with my food. She asked me if I wanted her to re-cook it to go or just take it off the bill. In retrospect, I probably should've had her take it off the bill, because who can trust food that's been made for you after you complained? But anyway, I had them remake it, and took it home. Today was the first time I had been to this establishment, however, our encounter was not the best. The food and service from the server and chef was not an issue but the host who had "helped" me over the phone and when we arrived. I had called earlier in the day to ask if i was able to make a reservation. Someone quickly picked up the phone and hung up. I called again and a very rude young man picked up the phone. I asked him the question and he very rudely told me they didn't do same day reservations and proceeded to hang up. Understood but the tone was unacceptable. Once I arrived the place was packed which is understandable. What I am assuming was the same young man over the phone was sitting on his phone while people were waiting to be helped. Instead of helping any of us he decided to walk away and never come back. Eventually a kind young lady came and helped us in which she apologized for the other host and sat us. I'll start off by saying that the food was delicious and the chef did great with what he was given. My wife and I were sat with the nicest family celebrating a birthday. They informed the server that 2 of the 6 of them were severely allergic to shellfish. When the chef came out, everything was mixed up. The server didn't communicate the allergy. He'd already put the scallops on the grill so he did his best not to cross contaminate but it's almost impossible at that point. The poor kid sitting next to me with the allergy didn't even eat, he was so nervous. The family handled it with grace and didn't express too much upset, but I'm upset for them. I don't complain or even leave bad reviews, but a mess up like that is a pretty big deal. Just a warning to really stress allergies to your server then to your chef again before they start cooking just to be extra sure. Like I said before, the food was perfect. Outside of this. The food is good but tonight we had Katelyn as our server and let me tell you it was horrible service. Our appetizer came out the same time as our main course. The food was cold. My husband ordered 2 sushi rolls and she never brought them. We saw them sitting there and by the time the end of our meal came I said so I guess we aren't getting his sushi she just said oh and walked off. Got it brought it over. We told her it was too late we don't want it anymore. She did not refill our drinks. I had to walk to the back to get someone else to refill them.
