I'm super surprised by the negative reviews here and cannot believe we are talking about the same place. Our dog Crockett, who can be a handful, is always excited to go to WMW when we drop him off. All of the staff snuggles him right up when we bring him in. When we suffered the loss of one of our pets this year, the staff at WMW grieved with us. Additionally, when we call with last minute requests, or have to leave our pet another day, they always do their best to squeeze us in. I've been so appreciative of them and the care and love they give to our furry family members.

Our initial appointments with this vet were fine and the clinic nurses were kind and informed, for the most part. However, they charge $6 per prescription to send it to any outside pharmacies (ex. Chewy). Why am I going to pay you more for dog food that my pet needs, plus a fee for submitting a prescription. That to me is unacceptable and a way to get more money from the consumer. Also, the first appointment for new patients they charge at the time of scheduling. Which is something I've never dealt with before. I guess people bring their dogs in and don't pay. Not sure but that should've been a red flag. Plus the parking situation is not ideal here and the building is kind of run down. Overall, if you really need to see a vet for your pet, they will definitely take care of them but I wouldn't go to them for long term care

The next day we had to rushed to the emergency room with Simba, as he was struggling to breathe by that point, and they told me his heart was severely diseased. Simba should have been put down that day, but we were sent home and end up spending an additional $500 for his euthanasia and cremation care after spending nearly $500 after Dr. Seals told us he was fine. If you ever come to this location, only see Dr. Faircloth. We've only had amazing experiences with Dr. Faircloth with our two previous animals.

However his bark sounded so raspy, like he's been coughing for days. They were too rough, pulling him with a prong collar, while I was there. I didn't really like that. However, my biggest thing was before my pup came, he didn't mind other dogs, he was friendly when they would come close, but he didn't care about them when he would see them on walks, at dog parks, etc. Once I brought him back home from training, he was extremely reactive to other dogs, and he had never done that before. I cannot take him on walks or dog parks without him getting nervous and barking at other dogs. I'm not sure if it's an incident that happened while he stayed here but my dog has not been the same since the day I picked him up from here. Overall, I wouldn't recommend bringing your dog here, my pup has had a traumatic experience that to this day affects us.

They teach the basics, as well as pass on these steps to the owner for the life of your dog. Whats also included in a 2 week package is meeting with you at home or in a public setting to go over what your dog has been trained plus pick up on anything the dog displays in a different environment. If you plan on boarding your dog for a vacation, bring them there! They board and train your dog, for the same price you'd spend to bring them to a vet. We needed to get our pup in as soon as possible and though worked with us on getting her in sooner than originally scheduled, a huge help to us when dealing with a puppy! My favorite thing, they work with therapy training your dog! If you have a need to have a specially trained dog to work with you for a specialty or handicap, they can help you! Another plus, we needed affordable but we needed a trainer to teach our pup the best way possible. If our dog can pick up on what she was trained on, plus we can stack onto that training from learning how to train ourselves, then it makes sense to go somewhere that teaches us how to do it. As our pup grows and matures, I can see having her go back as I want her to progress onto more difficult things. KCTC has an understanding of how dogs think and act and they pass that knowledge onto you , the owner so you can work with your dog smarter and continue on with the training at home. Having the option to reach out for advice as needed or training on more advanced levels is great to have if we ever need it. Some places can take your pet for very long, extended periods of time which can be tough on family members who will miss them too much. Short spurts of training for us was perfect, they offer 3, 7 or 2 week training and with that, I am sure they are flexible if needed. Lastly, if you are military, they honor you for your service!

They FORCE clients to take their puppies home at SIX WEEKS OF AGE! That is way too young! (8 weeks should be the earliest). They aren't very accommodating to buyers. Despite their contract claiming to provide an additional two weeks of boarding for an additional cost (actually reaching 8 weeks of age), they do not respect that. They show a lack of experience and knowledge, which can be dangerous to an inexperienced buyer. They feed the puppies poor quality food, claiming it is supreme. They tell clients not to change food after they go to their new home. That is nonsense. They also ween the puppies a bit early. The puppies are lower priced ($700), but they are bred for color, not quality. You don't see the parents of the puppies at pickup. Their puppies are just in a crate in the middle of the kitchen. If you want a quality puppy (and your money to go to the right place), go elsewhere. If quality isnt an issue, go to a rescue. Note: Many states require BY LAW to not allow puppies to leave their litter until 7-8 weeks of age, as this is an important development stage in which they learn from their litter-mates and mother. North Carolina happens to not have these laws in place, which is why you will find a lot of BYBs in the area.

Dealing with these horrible people has been one of the worst experiences we have ever been through. We patiently answered all of their highly invasive and personal questions which included questions about how we lost our pets!? My wife is one of the sweetest and most caring people I have ever known and it was heartbreaking to sit there and watch her cry for over an hour reliving these horrible events with our sweet pets. We gave them our own veterinarian as a reference! Then after all this, they extort $10 from us. We paid thinking this was the final step and we would finally get our puppy. Nope! Then they wanted a video of our home!! Who in their right mind is going to send a total stranger a video of their home?!? By the way, we have a beautiful home with 10 acres and a creek but that shouldn't matter. All that matters is we have an empty yard where a beautiful dog should be playing. **Long review, but if you were like me and have never boarded before, this will help you!**…read more In the 2 years of having our baby Marlin we have never had to have him boarded. We wanted to take a trip for a few days to New Orleans, and Bed & Biscuit was highly recommended. I emailed and was told there was an application process and I had to submit an application and then have Marlin sent for an evaluation day to make sure that he would be a good fit. I was so happy they did such a throughout application process. To some it may seem excessive but it means they actually care. He does not have much socializing as we live in the country and there aren't dogs that he sees on a regular basis. We have taken him to some dog parks but let's be honest some owners don't watch their dogs and so we tend to not take him often. We have taken him to the botanical gardens on their dog nights and he did well. He passed his evaluation and was able to be boarded for a few nights. They were nice enough to show us the grounds and explain in detail (Thanks Ms. Allison) everything that Marlin would experience while at camp! They said I could check in as often as I wanted to and that he would be taken care of. We dropped our sweet boy off and it broke my Mom heart, but I also knew, that he would be SO loved while we were away. Boy was I right. The first night of our trip, I sent an email to see how he was doing. I did not want them to think I did not trust them, but I also wanted to see how he was since this was his first time away from home and also socializing with others as well as us being so far from home. He was doing great. I was so happy. I picked him up and I could tell that he was happy to see me but then he was sad to leave. I was shown pictures of him on the trampoline and oh my goodness, I could tell that he had a blast and that we found our second home. He has been tired all day. I see that as a good sign that he had too much fun at camp. My husband and I have already talked about taking him for day care every month, at least a time or two so that he can keep the socializing up! Oh and all of the details that other places don't even think to do, I mean he came home with his first ever report card!! How cute was that? They really truly love what they do, and it shows. THANK YOU to the entire staff for taking such good care of our baby. We are SO happy to have found you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring for Marlin just like you would your dog. We are already looking at dates for Marlin to enjoy camp again. Thank you!!!
