Whenever I visit I have to stop here. It's been a tradition since I was a kid. Their house-made ranch dressing is thick and creamy. I'm usually a bleu cheese girl but for them I'll make an expetion. This ranch compliments the crispy, fresh fried to perfection perfectly salted crinkle cut fries. I only wanted a snack so I got my favorite lemon & strawberry. It was so refreshing and allows the perfect escape from the Arizona heat. I got the kiddie size and it hit the spot. I love that they have their staple flavors but offer a flavor of the month. I know eegee's is a big deal in Tucson but I've tried it twice now and find it to be just okay. I ordered the turkey sub and it was rather skimpy on ingredients. The flavors are good but there's just not enough substance to it. I also decided to try an eegee and went for their December flavor of the month, Holly Berry. It was good but the whole time I was drinking it I kept thinking this is basically diabetes in a cup. I justified it by knowing it was a one time thing as I live in San Diego and there's not an eegee's in sight. Good treat but not something I'd want frequently. I may return again as I pass through Tucson at least once a year on our way home from Christmas in New Mexico but I think I'll try something different. read more

Service is absolutely terrible! Placing my order was definitely an issue with the cashier. Not sure if they were new or what but they definitely struggled with such a simple order. The order was incorrect when I finally did receive it, after waiting nearly 25 minutes. The cleanliness of the store was awful. Almost every single table was dirty and a lot of trash on the floors. The greeter cashier was incredibly helpful and nice. She bumped my 3.5 to a 4! She offered us tasters of the slushee flavors and we bought in..... they were refreshing but could've used a bit more syrup/flavor to pack more punch. My teeth are still chattering from the chill! Our Cubano sandwich was spot on and has a nice mustard pickle balance. It was a bit smaller than the turkey and provolone one friend enjoyed. The owners of Eegee's hate Tucsonans who frequent their business as a nostalgic connection. 1 sandwich, 1 fry, 1 small flavor of the month Eegee, and a cookie = ~$26.00!!!!!!! AND THEY FORGOT MY COOKIE (took my cash, though)!! I had some of Tucson's finest cuisine at Vivace for $31.00 days ago (not most expensive, but some of the absolute best food & service in that price point and even well above). Eegee'sVivace on any metric by a long shot....a looooooooong shot. But Eegee's feels that their product should only be accessible to those who can afford Vivace, and they insanely think their product competes with Vivace (if the price is an indicator). This is truly an insult to those who have kept the Eegee's doors open for decades. Eegee's used to be a treat after working hard in the Southern Arizona sun all morning. This is a sandwich & fries: not imported Italian sea bass, and they can't even get the order in the paper sack. But their quality has remained static, while they gouge average Tucsonans mercilessly. We used to get $6.00 combos & it was amazing. We'd introduced our out of town friends to it with zeal at our unique local fast food fare. Some got it, and a few couldn't understand ... but now, if they saw they'd have to trade a huge block of their life & labor to get a crappy sandwich, a slushy, and have the staff leave off wildly overly-priced portions of their order: I would be absolutely humiliated to recommend this once-great institution to anyone I respected (as a stranger even). And don't give me this, "iNfLaTiOn hiT hArD," nonsense. Again, Vivace prices are on par, and that's fine dining: you wear slacks and a button-down shirt there (if not a sports coat). Eegee's is ... well ... not THAT (more like flip-flops with unkempt toe nails). Here are a few things I COULD'VE had in exchange for my $26.00 these days: 1. 3 months of a premium streaming service. 2. A hardback copy of a classic novel. 3. Stainless steel cutlery. 4. A half-rack of Ribs, drink, & side at Daisy Mae's steakhouse. 5. Mesquite Grilled Salmon at Kingfisher happy hour. 6. Duck Confit at Prep & Pastry. 7. Classic French Bouillabaisse ~$30.00. Smelt like chemicals when we walked in, cashier was confused on how to take a simple order. Waited for 20 mins for our food and when I went up to ask where it was she said "oops it's just been sitting here. no one called for a runner to bring it to you" and proceeded to hand us cold french fries. The 2 guys working up front were so friendly. It was my first time at an Eegee's; I live in NV & we don't have Eegee's there. I ordered just about 1 of everything on the menu. Everything was tasty. I really liked the pizza pretzel. My kiddos both enjoyed their kids meals. The sandwiches were really good. I had a Spicy Grinder, which was very good also. The Eegee's were amazing! We had the monsoon flavor mixed with the lemon - so tasty! The restaurant itself was nice. The floor was pretty slippery though from what looked like maybe a spill & it wasn't cleaned up during the entire time we were there (we ate there). Other than that, our visit was great! read more

This isn't the first time I've had a problem at this location, but I normally can just brush it off. However, today was just such a rude and bizarre interaction from almost the entire staff including the manager. I tried using the app to place a delivery order but the system wasn't working and wouldn't save my payment info. No biggie, I'll just drive down instead and save myself the delivery fee. I ordered a kids meal with an eegee, a 4 piece tender meal that already comes with a small eegee, and then one additional large flavor of the month eegee. I had 5050 points in my app which I could redeem for 3500 any size eegee of my choice. I give the employee my phone number for rewards and she says, you have points for a free small eegee. I replied, can I actually use my points towards my large eegee instead? She says "you don't have that, you just have a free small eegee". Kinda rude to just say it like that, but whatever. I go, "no I'm pretty sure I have any size of my choice... the app says any size for 3500 points and I have 5050 points in my app". She says the manager will just figure it out at the window. Roll up to the window, the cashier gives me my total and I show her my phone with the rewards available, she goes "I see you have the 5050 points (looking at both her register and confirming on my phone), but it's only giving me the option for a free small eegee." I'm like, "okay, but I only ordered the large because it shows me I have this reward available and I'd like to use it please." She calls the manager, the guy just walks over to the register, doesn't make any interaction and is silent the whole time... it was so awkward. No, "hey how can I help you, what's going on?"... Nothing. The girl who took my order through the drive thru (different than the cashier) was rolling her eyes at me and making faces and had such attitude. I'm showing them my rewards as proof in my app which I just wanted to use. It's not my fault nor theirs if the system is glitchy, which I get can be frustrating with technology. My issue is with the girl who was giving me attitude over my rewards at the drive through and rolling her eyes at the window, and the bizarre manager not addressing me or the system issue, his staff not knowing what to do and being confrontational towards a customer... like just such an unpleasant situation all around. A previous encounter before today, I had them hand me half my order, shut the window, and I'm still waiting on the rest for minutes with no communication.... I don't want to knock on the window and it's a pretty awkward situation as I don't have all my food and a line is building up behind me. Finally someone comes back to the window, asks what I need, and I say "the rest of my order I didn't get" and I show them my receipt... they just go "oh" no apologies or ownership to the situation, and my order is just chilling right there on the counter. Like, you don't notice you didn't give a customer their full order? There's no validation, just guesses?... Just, terrible customer service training and de-escalation from this team. I do love eegees food and my kids do too, it's our little treat. But having reoccurring encounters like this makes me want to stop going to avoid a potential encounter like the above again. I had the Farmhouse Ranch salad for lunch. The salad is greens topped with crispy chicken, tomato, cucumbers, shredded cheese and the eegee's ranch dressing. I enjoyed the salad. The crispy chicken had a very nice crisp to it. I also got the FOM (flavor of the month) which is Peach 'n Berry. It was quite refreshing on this hot day (nothing like 100 + degree temps in Tucson in the summer). I was disappointed that the sticker that they hyped on social media was already gone (at 2 pm). The worker said that the only one's left were only for workers. If I wanted a job I could have one. The location was not very busy, so the only cashier was bussing tables in the dining area between orders. I never saw him wash his hands when he returned to take someone's order. If he only handled money I would overlook it, but he was the one who also ladled the edge drinks to complete orders. read more

Among the usual fast food in the world, this only in Tucson place stands out. It was my 2nd eegee and these drinks last forever. The strawberry was very tasty. I also tried the food for the first time and I went with the safe choice of a veggie grinder with added bacon. The cheese they use is thick sliced AZ and the veggies were a bit unusual with olives and carrots, but combined with fresh bread made the sandwich enjoyable. Apparently this place is very crowded and I had to wait over 15 minutes to get my food. Another problem is the drive through cars blocked my car from exiting my parking space, so park in bank lot. read more

Service here was mind-blowing. I placed a simple online order just to be able to visualize my order and use a reward I had. Also, their parking lot is horrible to get out of if there is anyone in the drive through. All I ordered was a sub (nothing special) and 3 flavors of the month Eegee's. No modifications to anything. I then drove through the drive through for pick up. They recognized the order and then told me I had to go in for pick up because it was just received. My question is, how is placing an order online any different than the drive through? Guess I should have canceled the online order and placed a drive through order. First.........Sure wish there was an Eegee's in Phoenix. Some years ago there was a few but something about Phoenix did not work. My children really did like going to Eegee's This trip my son went and he said as soon as he got in town he went to Eegee's. They stayed till later in the day and went back to Eegee's for dinner. Me? As we were driving through Tucson we needed a place to grab a bite to eat and my sister-in-law recommended Eegee's. We stopped inside and ordered two Deluxe Grinders, the special BBQ Brisket sandwich and e flavor of the month slush. My husband had the BBQ and he said it was okay, looking and sounding much better than it was. His expectations may have been a little too high but he did finish the whole 6" sandwich. My sis and I both had the Deluxe Grinder which met our expectations. Something I like and bought was different was how the cheese lays on the bread instead of the meat and veggies. At first it sounds weird but it keeps from getting your bread soggy, I definitely appreciate the different approach. There was also a healthy portion of meat and veggies. However, of course, the favorite of the meal was the blue raspberry slushy. It was very sweet, refreshing and easy to drink. It made me feel like a kid again! I love Eegees...and this is the closest location to where I live. It's very unfortunate, however, that this is one of the worst locations. The wait times are absolutely ridiculous. We live out in Red Rock and always do an online order before driving here since the drive typically takes about as long as the online order takes to make. Well the last time we were here that did not happen. We did our online order as usual and it told us the order would be ready in 20 mins. So we drove off and arrived just after 20 mins expecting our order to be ready. We got there and not only was it not ready, they hadn't even started it yet! So we had to wait an additional 20 minutes for our food then another 20 mins for the drive back home. By then we were starving. The food was okay but the fries were very soggy. It's a shame this location has gone downhill over the years. Next time we will be skipping this location and driving further to the one in Ina road. read more

As we placed our order we asked for water, and he tried to charge us, because they didn't have "water cups" He even belittled another employee for being too slow, and then in front of us, scolded her for offering us a free small cup for water.
