The fields are upkept very well!! Staff and personnel here are very friendly and helpful and you can tell who works here or not, that is important when it comes to sporting events when things arise that you need assistance with. They have a concession stand that stocked pretty well with the basic needs and then some for these events, seeds, gatorade, hot dogs, etc. Bathroom are pretty well maintained as well. Lastly their website is user friendly and you can count on them updating things such as rainouts and rankings pretty efficiently!

Additionally, the "five-dollar sample" might be a bit misleading because many vendors don't offer it as a discounted price like they do for their full-priced entrees, so you don't really get a sample as much as you might think. I understand that vendors are selling food and that they do offer full-priced meals with sample portions. However, the variety of food offered to entice customers isn't consistent. There were free live performances, which was a nice touch. The event was conveniently held over by the tequila bar, which was pretty cool. Lastly, I want to emphasize the inconsistency in the sample platters or products across all the vendors. Customers may not want to pay the full price for all this offer. They might want a sample of their most prominent dishes for the advertised five-dollar agreement that is consistently stated when mentioning the taste of the Northwest. This is what has driven me to this event for the last couple of years, and I believe it needed to be refined. Other than that, I think it was pretty decent. Overall, it's definitely something entertaining and fun to take your family to. It's like a 50% reduction of the state fair-style event, usually held on the fairgrounds.

The floor was often sticky and eventually the chairs were so worn out you sat carefully hoping it wasn't going to break. The popcorn and snacks were always a super deal. But the climb upstairs to the bathrooms was a bit creepy and only one toilet per man/woman's side to accommodate a theater full of people, made for awkward situations. *sigh* reminiscing can be bittersweet sometimes. Now on to its current use. It was bought out from the family who owned it and converted into an events venue. From everyone I know who has since been to one, I am told they did an excellent job with the place and its a great place to reserve for your wedding, conference, etc. My baby sister even hosted a local bands showcase for all ages which worked really well here.
