Bipimbap menu and actual. Next time, veg version.

Food was outstanding. Current specials are most interesting. See pics. Service from Edgar, Dylan and staff was great. If going, we find mud week more consistent high quality than busy weekends. The toast app, if used, suggests 22% tip based on the total after tax. I prefer to use custom option, tip on subtotal. I shared that strategy with manager as staff and food earned 5 stars.

First I want to make it clear that overall the food is excellent. However, I am going to be nit picky and inform you that the habanero hash is dry. One of my favorite items on the menu is the Door County Chicken salad. I love that this item is served as a melt meaning that it is served with cheese and grilled like a grilled cheese sandwich. You could also opt for the traditional preparation on toast or bread with or without cheese. The egg salad is also really good. The recipe is more traditional as opposed to creative, but I love it. It is available in the same preparations. Please be aware that the chili is thick and has almost no broth. Personally, I prefer something more brothy. It's nice how flexible they are with the side items. A lot of items come with a small salad and or harbor potatoes, which are seasoned cubed potatoes. If you don't want a potato or salad it could be swapped out for toast, a biscuit, or fruit. Shredded potatoes which is their version of hash browns are also available and the harbor potatoes are available loaded. Please read the menu carefully. You will find some unique culinary delights.

A nice spot for breakfast and brunch located in downtown Geneva. I came here recently for brunch and it was a good experience overall. Everyone of there staff members were nice and wearing a mask. The restaurant was very clean. The food was pretty good size portions and they listed specials right upon entry. I didn't know you pay at the hostess station but overall a good time dining indoors and catching up with friends.

Chesse grits, bacon and biscuit with jam. What's up with these lopsided plates, though? Just resting a knife on the edge is a challenge...

If you've been to one Egg Harbor you've kind of been to them all: good brunch, but have fun if it's a weekend! Gladly today was a week day so my dining companion and I were seated quickly and didn't wait long for our food either. My biscuit with jam and bacon were the best; cheese grits were pretty bland and not very warm so the slab of cheese on top didn't want to melt into the grits very easily. My companion went with lunchier fare with the chicken tortilla soup and egg salad sandwich (the latter very messy, though he enjoyed the taste). Also, I ordered the strawberry OJ but it never arrived...but did show up on the bill! :/ Our waiter was attentive (except about the OJ) and friendly. In the time of Covid: plexiglass walls were erected between booths so people were not as staggered as they are at most indoor dining sites. Overall, not the best Egg Harbor experience ever, but ok.

A great breakfast in the heart of Geneva Illinois. But be ready for a long wait on Sunday morning. Lots of choices, all good.

Their preorder system is incredibly smooth, though it does require a bit of planning since you need to order at least a day in advance, and they are closed on Mondays. I scheduled an order on a Friday for a Tuesday morning pickup. I picked up a dozen GF donuts and a half-dozen chocolate chip cookies, and both were fantastic. They offer a ton of different donut flavors, though the ordering system limits you to choosing three varieties per dozen. I went with the banana bread, chocolate with chocolate icing and the brown sugar with chocolate icing, and they did not disappoint. The cookies were just as impressive, hitting that perfect texture without any of the dryness you sometimes find in gluten-free baking. The shop itself is super cute and perfectly set up for a quick visit. All the preordered to-go items are neatly laid out on a cabinet for a seamless pickup. If you have some extra time, they also have drinks and food you can order at the counter, a shared parking lot that makes stopping by a breeze, and a nice outdoor seating area. I will definitely be back to mix and match some new flavors next time.

They also changed up their cocktail menu, and we were super excited to see they had some new summer drinks. This is definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in the area. It's perfect for special occasions and date nights. The first two times we came we sat at the bar, but we came right when they opened and were able to be seated at a table. I love the candlesticks they have lit at the tables. There's a a view of the kitchen as well. To drink, I had the Dip in the Backyard Kiddie Pool (very refreshing) and Fresa Fresca (basically a strawberry margarita and it was super refreshing and tasted like strawberry juice). For dessert, we shared the oreo carjillo. It was pretty strong to me, but it definitely tasted like Oreos and milk! To eat as an appetizer, they gave us complimentary bread and butter and we ordered the sundried tomato oil to go along with it (a must). Their bread is so soft and fresh. We also got the bone marrow (forgot to get a photo), and it was some of the best we've had!! For our entrees, we got the two pasta dishes. They called them "small plates" but it was the perfect amount of food for us with our appetizers. I had the spicy carrot rigatoni pasta and it was super fresh. I love that they cooked the pasta al dente.

We loved everything about The Graceful Ordinary from the ambience to the amazing service (thanks Karen!) to the creative cocktails to the delicious food. When we arrived at the table, there was an anniversary card from the staff. Nice touch! We were brought a loaf of the warm housemade bread with whipped butter to begin. Hubby ordered the Having a Moment bourbon cocktail, and I had the Honey Kiss vodka and elderflower cocktail. Love their creative cocktail list. Karen was a fabulous server, so attentive and friendly. The other staff was on top of everything from water being refilled to clearing dirty dishes and even fresh butter brought to the table when it was low. Our needs were met before we even needed to ask. Also, since Karen knew that we were splitting all the courses, she automatically had the food split between two plates. I liked that. We decided to split everything we ordered. We started with the smoked salmon deviled eggs which were creamy delicious, not to mention beautifully presented. Our second starter was the bone marrow with caramelized shallots. This dish was absolutely amazing. My only critique would be to put four pieces of bread on the plate went two people are sharing. Our next course was a salad and we went with the roasted beet salad with blue cheese and sunflower shoots dressed in a warm bacon vinaigrette. Bacon - need I say more? Our main course was the walleye with ricotta gnudi, fava beans, peas and wild mushrooms. So many flavors and textures going on. The fish was perfectly seared and moist. Delectable. We thought about dessert but we were so full from dinner that we passed. Karen wouldn't let us go without a complimentary dessert in honor of our anniversary to enjoy at home, their signature butterscotch pot de crème with sea salt caramel. The Graceful Ordinary certainly made our anniversary special with the anniversary card at the table, and the complementary dessert. If you're in the western Chicago burbs, I highly recommend checking this restaurant out.
