Had no flavor. For breakfast I had the San Antonio Skillet with scrambled eggs. It was descent. The serving size was nice. The price is on the fair side. The Hostess was nice. If your in Naperville I would pass on this place and look for other options. Honest opinion I would compare this place to a IHOP but on the expensive side. read more

Good place but busy so go when you have time. Worth the wait. Downtown has many good choices. In contrast, don't bother with that newly remodeled Tasty Biscuit north on Ogden. They price entrees but don't post drink prices. Ask and be told a beverage price but be ready for a bait and switch at checkout! They must need to pay for the remodel by over charging or hiding their sneaky "up charge" in the bill and it's to late to let them know they might have it billed incorrectly based on what the server told you. They won't listen to the customer or be able to explain it. Play dumb and just ring you up Cha-Ching. Instead go to Egg Harbor for a fair priced meal with a considerate staff and a much more positive experience. read more

The only con is that the wait time is crazy long because everyone wants to be here I guess, the orange juice is hella good, the breakfast sausage is really good not dry and small. My husband and I are new to Naperville. Yesterday (Saturday 8/13 was our second visit to Egg Harbor in Naperville. Antonio is amazing!!! He saw my husband and I sitting down waiting for our server. As we waited patiently to be at least acknowledged, he walked over greeted us and ask if we wanted anything to drink. Not only did he serve us glasses of water and coffee, but he took the time to take our order. He demonstrated an excellent example of what service should look like!! My husband and and I stopped here for breakfast. The restaurant's decor is pretty dated surprisingly the food is good. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. I ordered a steak skillet with pancakes. The steak was tender and cooked just right. The pancakes were delicious. My husband had a skillet as well with ham, sausage, and bacon. He seemed to enjoy his meal. The only reason I gave the place 4 stars is because the restaurant needs to be renovated. read more

The food was good, but both my husband and I wished the portions were a bit bigger for the price. He ordered a flavored macchiato and was not super impressed- said it didn't have much flavor and tased more like black coffee. The server was okay, but seemed to be more interested in flirting with the girl at the table over, and one of the other workers, than checking on his own tables more frequently. When I eat breakfast at a restaurant I usually order something I would not prepare on my own at home. Ordered the Bavarian Benedict and it was a real treat!!! Fried potato cake with cheese and bacon, topped with eggs Benedict, tomatoes, green onions and sour cream. Also included an English muffin with homemade jelly. Breakfast was delicious!!! Food was amazing! Definitely 5 stars. We had a group of 9 and everyone cleared their plate. Everything on the menu is fantastic. The servers seemed a bit all over the place, all of them were younger. A few minor things were messed up like someone got pancakes instead of waffles or getting the wrong drink. The mimosa was pretty good, the blueberry lemonade with Tito's was even better! Tip: the Bloody Mary comes with shrimp, they do have a small disclaimer but it's in the crease of the page at the bottom & very small print. Two of the people at my table had to send them back since they have a shellfish allergy. Overall, such an amazing breakfast and will be coming back soon! read more

Breakfast/brunch at Egg Harbor is a delightful and delicious experience for all ages and appetites. It's located right on the river walk, so it's easy to get to, has ample seating indoors and out (we sat outside and it was a perfect morning for it), the food is fantastic, and the service is wonderful. Everything on the menu sounds good and everything we had didn't disappoint. Naturally I had the Eggs Benedict but I subbed in the Habanero Hash as the side and WOW. Just WOW. Absolutely mind-blowing. SO. GOOD! Incredibly good. I can't say it enough, if you like spicy you MUST try this. Aside from the food our waitress was very nice and attentive and the manager was beyond helpful when I had a question about the bill while paying. Taste and ambience of the place is good but service not so much... we felt rushed although the place was half empty there were many empty tables and no waiting line on a weekday. Server just dumped the glass bottle with two cups on top of it and left. She seemed to be in a hurry to get us out and brought the check even when we weren't yet finished with the food. She seemed fake when trying to interact and be nice and did not feel she meant it. Most staff is a bunch of young kids doing this part time possibly with no real interest in serving the customer but to just make tips. We had to go to the front desk to pay..,why? Why can't you take the card and get us back the receipt like all other places do?? And not tell us upfront and wait for us to ask? We still gave a decent tip because we pay very well for service provided. She did not deserve it. There are much better places where we are not treated like they are doing us a favor by serving us even when we are the ones paying them for it. It was missing the tomatoes and green onions on top, and was presented as basically a plate of brown topped eggs. It was very unappealing. The chicken in the chili was dried out. Husband and I broke away from family festivities for a little alone breakfast time in our old stomping grounds. Found this place thru Yelp and it did not disappoint. It has a parking lot but it was packed (probably cuz it was the day after Xmas). After one circle around, found a spot. Obviously, a great restaurant for accommodating families. At the table was a pitcher of water with lemon, waiting for us. Awesome. We ordered a couple of orange juices, as well. I had the Market Fresh Eggs Benedict and husband had the San Antonio Skillet. Market Fresh Eggs Benedict-baby spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, artichoke on an English muffin with poached eggs and basil hollandaise sauce. Yum! Came with crispy potatoes, too. Very filling. A meal without the English muffins (yep, I scraped off the top when I started getting full). San Antonio Skillet-chorizo, bacon, jalapeño, tomato, eggs, pepper jack cheese & potatoes. We ordered from here last weekend, and the food did not disappoint! I'd had brunch here with friends a few months ago and saw they had delivery, so I decided to place an order. I was able to request no chorizo from the Aztec omelette and they were kind enough to make sure that none of my food was cooked near any of the meat, which I really qppeediared :) The omelette was fabulous and so were the chocolate chip pancakes. There was a bit of a wait to get it-- but nothing crazy, only twenty minutes. The eggs were particularly good, and cooked really well. They also have savory filled crepes, which is a sometimes rare commodity. It's pretty rare to get breakfast and have so many different options too. Everything from pancakes to grits, with four different variations on eggs Benedict available. You can't go wrong with Intellegentsia coffee, but they do have matcha drinks which I'm furious abo. This location is also super close to the Naperville River walk, so it would be a great place to eat before or after spending some time by the river. read more

Egg Harbor is one of my fav brunch spots in Naperville, one of the main reasons being the seasoned potatoes that come with many of the dishes. Service is often quick and attentive, and there's always floaters roaming the restaurant to see if you want any fresh squeezed orange juice. The skillets are a great option that not every brunch spot offers: potatoes with eggs, cheese, and meat loaded on top. You can't go wrong with any of the combos either since you get some sweet (via pancakes or french toast) AND savory (via eggs and sausage or bacon) in your meal. The Eggceptional Skillet combo is always a fav and includes a mini skillet, egg, english muffin, banana bread french toast, and fruit. I am officially missing this place now. (On a side note, parking may be tricky, if you can't find a spot in the adjacent lot. Otherwise, you'll have to find street parking or a spot alongside the library.) read more

Was in Chicago for a wedding weekend and had friends suggest stopping in here the next morning before heading home. This place must be the go-to place in the area because it was packed. We got in pretty quick though and we're seated. The waitress was a young girl who was very attentive. I had a waffle berry crepe. I don't typically walk outside the eggs and bacon realm for breakfast but the pic they had of it on the menu looked great and sounded good. It came out pretty quickly and was fantastic! I wish there had been more of it but it was a good sized item that in sure would have not been finished had my wife ordered it. Even though the restaurant was busy, our lunch was with one of my wife's old college friends so they chatted for Abby after we finished eating and weren't rushed out for the table.
