GREAT FOOD, location, ambience, friendly staff, nice parking lot and prices fair. We went Saturday morning and when we walked out the door at 10:30 am there were lots of people waiting, so I suggest get there by 9:30 am for no wait.

Came here for a late lunch. There was no wait and we were able to be sat right away. They have a separate GF menu. I ordered a create your own breakfast wrap on a GF tortilla. They have unlimited veggies, cheese and sauces that you can add. It came with harbor potatoes. I also ordered a strawberry orange juice mimosa. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

So here's how our visit to Egg Harbor went. We originally planned to eat at a different restaurant, but when we got there, the wait was over an hour. Not wanting to wait that long, we went with our second option--Egg Harbor--and honestly, it ended up being the better choice. The atmosphere was cozy and matched the feel of the place perfectly. They use a text system to let you know when your table is ready, which was very convenient. My wife ordered the Ultimate Skillet, and I had the Lobster Scrambler. Both were very flavorful and cooked perfectly. Our server, Juan, was handling quite a few tables, but you wouldn't have known it by the way he handled all of his customers, very attentive, helpful, and professional. The three ladies at the hostess stand were also really friendly and welcoming. Between the great food, top-notch service, and warm staff, we left feeling like Egg Harbor should have been our first choice from the start. We'll definitely be back, thanks Juanca and staff!!!

Solid Brunch Spot in Schaumburg with Great Twists Tried Egg Harbor Café in Schaumburg and left impressed. It's a big, cozy spot with a laid-back, country-style vibe great for a casual brunch. We had the Smoked Salmon Benedict poached eggs, arugula, tomato, and hollandaise done right. One of the best versions I've had. The Cherrywood Avocado Toast was another standout, with fresh avocado, cherrywood bacon, and pickled red onions on sourdough. Also ordered the Dynamite Veggie White Omelet loaded with veggies, light but flavorful. We swapped the potatoes for a side of fruit, which was a nice touch. Don't skip the Maple Bourbon Bacon sweet, smoky, and crispy. And the Strawberry Orange Juice was super refreshing. Service was okay, not very attentive, could be improved. I'd rate this a 4 out of 5. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

First time at Egg Harbor and it did not disappoint. I had the San Antonio skillet and it was fire--I cleaned the plate lol. Super cute and reliable spot for breakfast at a decent price. The service was great, and I even ended up buying one of their coffee mugs because it was too cute. Overall, I'd definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

Traveling through the city and wanted a mid day meal. I think the flavor combinations of the scrambles and frittatas caught my eye. I ordered the Sir Dugan frittata. It was a savory selection that worked well with the buttered English muffin. I wish there was an Egg Harbor Cafe in my town.

Egg Harbor is still going strong. There hasn't been much change since my last review. I've been getting delivery the last few years, and the food is still delicious. The lobster scrambler is still good, but the amount of protein has definitely reduced. I wouldn't recommend the farmer's benedict unless you like your benny to be a bit tart. The artichoke definitely makes the entire dish sour tasting. Not the best flavor combo. Hash browns are crispy and taste better than their harbor potatoes. The jam is still homemade and is fresh tasting. Service is quick. You can now pay your check via apple pay with a QR code, which is convenient.

Great breakfast! It's been a couple years since we've been to an Egg Harbor. My wife and I split a Pot Roast Breakfast Skillet and added a Cinnamon Roll. Our server, Maggie was quite pleasant and accommodating. She split our skillet and let us order one scrambled egg and one over medium egg. Perfect! The breakfast dish as well as the cinnamon roll were great. Another nice touch here is they leave you both a carafe of coffee and ice water. Edit: Another nice touch is the ability to pay from your table by scanning the QR code on the check. I scanned it, selected Apple Pay and it was paid. Super easy. We'll be back to an Egg Harbor in the future.

We flew into Chicago this morning and had a gift certificate to a nearby winery so we decided to have lunch here beforehand. It was a good decision. Although the place was very crowded, the wait was only six minutes. Our waiter, Juan, quickly came over to take our orders. The menu has plenty of breakfast and lunch options. I opted for the Harbor Cobb Salad. It had grilled chicken, bacon, eggs, avocado, blue cheese, scallions, and lettuce, along with ranch dressing. Each entree also comes with an English muffin. My husband had the Door County chicken salad. It had two scoops of chicken salad atop a salad full of vegetables with poppyseed dressing. We both loved our salads. Service was pretty fast considering how busy they were.

We needed a place to stop for food and happened to seek this place out. Glad we did! Cute farm house cafe style and the service was attentive and fast. Joes breakfast wrap was delicious and the potatoes were softy but crispy. Some of the best breakfast potatoes I've enjoyed out! The cool thing is the potatoes are cooked in pure beef tallow! The seasonal pumpkin pancakes were fluffy and spiced nicely. We would love to visit again when back in the area!

HUGE gluten free menu and they have dedicated fryers for celiacs! Went for my graduation brunch with a party of 13. Staff, food, atmosphere, accommodations, and overall everything was amazing. recommend. My waiter even surprised me with an adorable plate of gluten-free pancakes and whipped cream and congratulations for graduating with my masters.

Lobster scrambler with potatoes and an English muffin. The house made jam was yummy!

We stopped at the Egg Harbor Cafe in Schaumburg on a Saturday morning. The wait time was about 10 minutes. Service and cleanliness was on point. My expectations for breakfast are always high. I had the lobster scrambler with potatoes and an English muffin. I was disappointed with the food overall. The lobster scrambler was rich and had a little too much cream cheese for me. The potatoes were okay. The best thing was their homemade jam. It was delicious, albeit it was more like a sauce. I used it on my English muffin and some on the french toast. I did taste the french toast. The texture and consistency was good, however I was picking up an after taste that was off putting. My wife had avocado toast and fruit that she didn't like. I think she felt the toast was bland. All the food was prepared correctly. The problem was mostly with the flavors which is subjective as it seems many people like Egg Harbor according to the reviews.

Egg Harbor is now my favorite local brunch spot. Why? Consistently tasty food delivered pretty quickly to your table by very friendly servers. Get your very own hot pot of coffee left at your table along with the cutest Egg Harbor pottery mugs. And? We always get offered hot coffee to go! My favorite breakfast plate is Joe's Healthy Scrambler with chicken sausage, spinach, mushrooms and egg whites, topped with low fat mozzarella accompanied by fresh fruit and a wheat English muffin. If you want a lighter meal packed with flavor and cheese, this is a perfect brunch dish. My husband always gets the pancakes here. Prices are what you would expect for breakfast in this area.

    Happy birthday to me

I ordered their Falafel bowl, with rice and a bunch of their available options. You are allowed to select 4 and then every topping after that is $1 per topping. This seems a bit extreme as they are NOT generous when adding your selected ingredients. I was expecting a much larger portion, but understand they are a business and have to manage their margins. The food itself was fine. The falafel were just ok, and had been sitting in a container, lacking the crispiness and freshness I am used to normally. For the extra options, everything tasted fine, I just felt skimped on the portions I was given. The highlight for me was the hot sauce that they offer. It was extremely flavorful and had a nice level of heat. I would buy that by the bottle if It was available. I think Falafill is worth a try, but you just have to manage your expectations. They do not come close to the traditional mediterranean restaurants I am used to visiting, but for mall food it's pretty good.

Ashley said the sides weren't listed and verbally told me what the sides were. She mentioned soup as one of the sides, so I ordered the soup. When I ordered the soup, however, I noticed an additional $3.09 charge for the item. I thought one side was included like she said, and inquired about the charge. Ashley said the soup side is an additional charge. (The sandwich was $12.19.) I also ordered a desert. Ashley informed me that the desert was $2.50 each instead of the $4.69 or $4.49. I was delighted and let her know. But then I looked at the charge on the screen and it was not showing the $2.50 she mentioned. When I asked about that, she looked and said oh, it's not $2.50. No apology, just an attitude. No eye contact, just a dismissive, I could care less demeanor the whole time. When my order was ready she just said my name, left the bag near the inside of the counter and walked away. I had to reach back in there to retrieve my order. I'm disappointed with the customer service. Additionally, when I looked into the kitchen while waiting for my food, I noticed a woman with brunette hair eating and chomping while turning around and preparing a sandwich on the grill. Not the most hygienic or professional. The customer experience was unpleasant and I'm hoping it will improve because without customers there is no business and no jobs. Regarding the food, if you're expecting the club sandwich to be the traditional 3 decker design, think again. Two slices of bread instead of three makes it easier to eat, but I was disappointed to find one thin slice of turkey.
