Visited this location yesterday! It is a bit smaller than other locations I have been to but was nice and had an outside seating area too. Staff was friendly and prompt. Broccoli cheddar soup was amazing as always! So much better than Panera. I love their unsweetened tea as well. Friend was there for the first time with me and was loved her soup and salad combo. She says it is a place she would go back to again! Only small note was that there were a bunch of tables were not cleaned - leaving our seating choices to a few tables when the restaurant was not crowded. The bonus for me is discovering their delicious seasonal desserts and I love how McAlister's supports community organizations through "ChariTEA" days. I probably hit McAlisters every 6 weeks or so. Ordering on the App- is excellent. It captures rewards and you can add coupon codes ahead. Service - always top rate. Friendly polite and accurate. I LOVE LOVE sandwiches. I was happy to see McAlisters open up nearby. The menu option of different combinations for their Choose 2 is one of my favorites. Most places have three options to from but McAlisters also offers SPUDS and Shareables as option for your choose 2 combos. This is a counter order, select a table and they'll bring the food to your table. Drinks are all kept behind the counter to maintain the customer service ambiance. Employees are very FRIENDLY and check on guests from time to time for any refills or anything else the guest needs. The store is well light inside which I truly enjoy. It makes you feel happy. They offer booth, low tops, communal high top, and 4-top nooks for a little privacy seating options. Their kids menu are $3.49 which includes a entree, side, ad mini chocolate chip cookie. their food overall was fresh, especially their salad. I am picky when restaurants serve mixed greens and there are wilted green leaves in my salad. This was not the case. Each leaf was perfect and fresh. I'm excited to have a McAlister's finally. We went there opening day. When we first walked in, we were greeted with a very friendly welcome. I ordered the French dip with potato salad. The French dip was ok. The meat was a little rough. I think it was just because it was the first day. I am looking forward to trying the other sandwiches. Estimate spending about $12 for everything out the door. The potato salad was great. It was tasted just like Mom makes. It was a rainy Saturday in Schaumburg- and I just felt like a little bit of comfort food would be the ticket. I decided to hit up McAlister's Deli in Schaumburg - they' recently opened, and they appeared to have a menu that reminded me (somewhat oddly) of Panera. I was immediately greeted on entry - very LGBTQ friendly, I might add - a plus- and checked out the menu. I chose the Choose 2 - and got 1/2 of an Italian sub, and a Chicken Bacon Ranch spud along with an unsweetened iced tea. I took my number, found a table, tagged my table with said number, and waited a few minutes for my upcoming meal! Oh, and it came. the 1/2 Italian was - wow- a bit smaller than expected. I could deal with it. The spud? DAMN. It was huge. HUGE. And OH so tasty! The Italian was pretty good too- but to be fair it was gone really fast, as it was bite-sized (!). Ok- my first time here. We have come here several times. The food is always PERFECT. My go to is the Beef French Dip. I also enjoyed their New York Corned Beef Sandwich. Love the Potato Salad and the pickle- now THAT is a pickle! The staff is great, the food is great- it is generally great. HOWEVER, the air conditioning is always cranked too high- ok IF you bring a jacket or sweater. Also, there is only ONE size soft drink- 32 ounce HUMUNGO. The first 2 times I went here, I asked for a small Coke. Both times i got size HUMUNGO. I now get only water. I have read this is SOP at all McAlister's so this is no reflection on this location, but ONLY 32 ounce? I do find this a wee bit strange. read more

I recently hosted an early morning meeting and needed catering at an unusually early hour. McAlister's Deli exceeded my expectations, and I cannot speak highly enough of their service. Olivia, one of their employees, personally handled my order and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She provided her personal cell number so I could reach out to her for questions, and even came in hours before her shift before the deli opened to make sure the food was fresh and ready on time. When I arrived she was waiting by the door, and was smiling, incredibly courteous and had everything bagged and ready to go! I walked out the deli within minutes so the first thing I said to my coworker accompanying me was "wow, that's good customer service!" Stopped in for my first time visit and ordered the horseradish beef and cheddar sandwich, chips, and a drink. The employees all were very friendly and attentive. First, why do you have your lines to order so weird? Also, are the cashiers getting any sort of tips? I noticed quickly that they handled the registers and the clearing of tables when patrons were done eating. BUT After the food had been cleared and we were only chatting and finishing our drinks, two of us in the group,had carpenter ants crawling on us. I ask to speak to the management and the lady already knew of the problem and said the company that provides their bug sevice had been already out on several occasions and the carpenter ants are still a problem. So unless you don't mind having the ctitters coming home with you on your clothing (if you don't have friends to pick them off your back). Go afead and take your chances. My first visit at McAllister's deli was on Monday, March 11. The food was excellent deli style sandwiches, soups, desserts, salads, all on the menu at McAllister's. I enjoyed from the menu, the choose two, which it consist of half a sandwich, a cup of soup, and then I also had a cup of the fresh coffee and dessert had a slice of the colossal carrot cake which was exactly what it sounds like colossal. it was delicious. My lunch was fabulous. The service was absolutely Very accommodating the staff would check on you to be sure that everything was OK and the best thing was the food was prepared on trades that look like dinner plates you would serve at your own table.
