Outside.
Mel C.

We love McAlister's Deli for a quick lunch sandwich, wrap or salad, and sweet tea, of course! The bonus for me is discovering their delicious seasonal desserts and I love how McAlister's supports community organizations through "ChariTEA" days. The employees at the Schaumburg location are so nice and make great suggestions for your meal sides. It is an open, warm and inclusive place to dine. When it is nice outside, dining on the patio is lovely.

I LOVE LOVE sandwiches. I was happy to see McAlisters open up nearby. The menu option of different combinations for their Choose 2 is one of my favorites. Most places have three options to from but McAlisters also offers SPUDS and Shareables as option for your choose 2 combos. This is a counter order, select a table and they'll bring the food to your table. Drinks are all kept behind the counter to maintain the customer service ambiance. Employees are very FRIENDLY and check on guests from time to time for any refills or anything else the guest needs. The store is well light inside which I truly enjoy. It makes you feel happy. They offer booth, low tops, communal high top, and 4-top nooks for a little privacy seating options. Their kids menu are $3.49 which includes a entree, side, ad mini chocolate chip cookie. their food overall was fresh, especially their salad. I am picky when restaurants serve mixed greens and there are wilted green leaves in my salad. This was not the case. Each leaf was perfect and fresh. I will be back and recommend this place.

Grilled Chicken Club

I had a grilled chicken club sandwich to go and it definitely hit the spot. The spring mix was refreshing and the McAlister honey really brought the sandwich together. They were able to accommodate me by processing my pick up order earlier than expected. Service was excellent. I would highly recommend.

French dip with a side of potato salad

I'm excited to have a McAlister's finally. We went there opening day. When we first walked in, we were greeted with a very friendly welcome. I ordered the French dip with potato salad. The French dip was ok. The meat was a little rough. I think it was just because it was the first day. I am looking forward to trying the other sandwiches. Estimate spending about $12 for everything out the door. The potato salad was great. It was tasted just like Mom makes. The restaurant gives you the old school deli feeling, which makes me want to eat there just for that.

Choose 2!

It was a rainy Saturday in Schaumburg- and I just felt like a little bit of comfort food would be the ticket. I decided to hit up McAlister's Deli in Schaumburg - they' recently opened, and they appeared to have a menu that reminded me (somewhat oddly) of Panera. I was immediately greeted on entry - very LGBTQ friendly, I might add - a plus- and checked out the menu. I chose the Choose 2 - and got 1/2 of an Italian sub, and a Chicken Bacon Ranch spud along with an unsweetened iced tea. I took my number, found a table, tagged my table with said number, and waited a few minutes for my upcoming meal! Oh, and it came. the 1/2 Italian was - wow- a bit smaller than expected. I could deal with it. The spud? DAMN. It was huge. HUGE. And OH so tasty! The Italian was pretty good too- but to be fair it was gone really fast, as it was bite-sized (!). Ok- my first time here. Would I come again? Actually, yes. There are plenty of soup options (which I scoped out given our rather chilly winters here) - and wow. Yup. I'll be back. Check it out and tell me if you think the same?

I did the choose 2 meal so I got half of a blt -a sandwich and chipotle chicken & bacon spud. The bacon was freshly cooked but wished they've added more avocado. The spud was good. The staff's service impressed me; they went around and checked in with the customers frequently.

Went to this location for the first time (Feb. 5, 2024). Ordered to go. Got a sandwich & a salad. Everything is very tasty and well made! All employees were super friendly and helpful. I will for sure be back and update more!

They have dine in (you order at the counter,) pick up, as well as delivery available. They also have a catering menu. My husband ordered the chicken skewer dinner it came with rice and a Greek salad and a side of pita bread. My daughter ordered the Gyro kids meal and her and I split it because she eats only a small amount of food. If you check in on Instagram or Facebook you get 10% off your check. I checked in on Facebook but they didn't give us the discount so she gave us a free side of Greek potatoes. The food was really good, we will definitely be back again. They had television sets on the dining room but none of them were on. They have Pepsi products that you fill yourself. They have a little dessert display which I took a picture of that as well. The ambience was very casual but the restaurant was clean and the people working there were really nice. They short and tall tables (no booths)

The first time I sat at the bar and had a Caesar salad with it crouton and with the NY strip medium rare on top. The romaine lettuce was fresh. The white anchovies were almost missed as they were hiding to one side. The steak had a lot of flavor and was cooked perfectly. The surprise was how well the pickled onions on top of it complimented the salad! The second time I sat at a table and had a burger. It was delicious!! I requested extra lettuce and not sure that happened. But the burger was cooked to perfection. I had the side salad instead of fries which was huge. Dressing was a little boring but it would be hard to outshine the burger. Service was good.

We ordered both Benedict's the short rib and the classic . The short rib was so dry and the egg on top was hard boiled in the center . That's not how an egg Benedict should be . The door county mustard sauce was good but there was hardly any on it . The pickled onion was delicious but there was a scarce amount and the rainbow potatoes were burnt beyond repair . The lemon ricotta pancakes were dry and the blueberry mound on top was goop . Our server was pleasant but didn't come check in on us . I told her the short rib was dry and she didn't acknowledge.

It definitely has a lively atmosphere, and I could hear Polish being spoken at many of the tables, which made the experience feel authentic. There were also plenty of non-Polish guests enjoying themselves as well. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly despite how large and busy the restaurant was. The restaurant was also very clean and well maintained. The food was fresh and satisfying. Portions were enormous, and many dishes are easily large enough to share between two people. The flavors were mild and balanced, which I appreciated since nothing was overly salty or heavy. The sauerkraut was good, although I personally would have preferred it to be a bit more sour. Overall, the food was enjoyable, the atmosphere was unique, and it's a fun place to experience Polish cuisine while enjoying a lively social setting.

It was time to try. We expected a bit of a hole in the wall and that's not what we found - we found a very nicely decorated and maintained restaurant with a lot of dark wood overtones - we were seated immediately and given an extensive menu. I ordered a Polish beer, and we ordered a Polish plate - kind of a combination sampler plate if you will - and a ground pork cutlet dinner. Now before we could say anything? Some bread showed up with a lovely but lightly flavored hummus type spread- we enjoyed it because it also came with a nice big half sized pickle. When the Polish plate came? OMG we had sauerkraut - we had sausage - we had some pierogies, and when the pork cutlet came out? It literally covered the entire plate and was resting on a bed of freshly mashed potatoes. We shared the Polish plate and we shared the extremely large pork cutlet. Now to be fair? We loved the Polish plate immensely - while the cutlet was nicely breaded, and the mashed potatoes were great? I'm not certain I could say that about the pork cutlet. There was nothing wrong with it. I think the flavor was fine, but it was not something that I would order again. It just wasn't my taste that's all. So would we come again? Yes. Yes we would!
