This was one of the worst experiences I've had here, and I come here quite often. There was no signage or area indicating where to pick up mobile orders. I went to the area where people pick up food when dining in as there was a huge line to just regularly order. The woman behind the counter was literally standing there and didn't make eye contact with me for like 5 min while i stood 5 feet from my food and drink - sitting there, ready to go behind the counter. I finally said "hi I have a mobile order" and she looked at me with such contempt and was like you're supposed to pick up over here - not sure where that was? She angrily gave me the bag and then turned away. Ummmm - I just spent $70 and this is the customer service? Yikes. Do better. Only gave an extra star because my food order was correct. My husband and I had a coupon for choose two for $5.99. any pasta, any salad, any sandwich, any soup many choose to combos after 4:00 p.m. must present or mention coupon when ordering. My husband ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with chicken noodle soup and it came with a side bag of kettle cooked original chips. I ordered the pesto chicken pasta with broccoli cheddar soup it also came with a bag of kettle cooked original chips. I added a maple pecan bar and my husband and I split it. The food was nice and piping hot! All the items we orderered tasted great! We will definitely be back again! The restaurant is very clean there was one little section that they kept closed but there was still plenty of seating available at night. There are lots of different soda fountain beverages, you fill your cup yourself. They also have fill your own coffee and iced tea. I'm very disappointed with Corner Stone bakery. I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup via doordash for $11.29. I noticed that the chicken noodle soup is more broth, then noodles, or vegetables. I'm literally eating broth. Also the cup of soup is the same ounces as the bowl of soup. I didn't see the difference in size. For the amount of money there should be more noodles and vegetables. The size should be different a bowl of soup size should be different from a cup of soup. Yet the price is different. This company needs to get it together and stop ripping off the consumers, by cutting corners. read more

I stopped by this Corner Bakery with my mother to get lunch. It was a perfect atmosphere. There were a few customers in there when we arrived but it was quiet enough that we could have a conversation. The cashier was very nice and helpful. I ordered the pick two option with the tomato mozzarella sandwich along with the cheddar broccoli soup. I got the side salad as a side. My mother ordered the classic Caesar salad with chicken. The food came out quickly and was served hot. The food is what you would expect if you went to any of their restaurants. It was good, not great, and filling. I don't get a lot of their desserts since I'm typically full after my meal. I recommend this spot if your in the area. The prices are reasonable and are very competitive for the crowded Woodfield area. read more

Sadly this Corner Bakery is kind of a struggle. I've had several issues over the years with their online ordering system as well as when I order in person at the store. Corner Bakery, in general, is pretty expensive in my opinion, so I would expect better service and computer systems. read more

First visit and very confusing. After ordering the lady disappeared without giving me any receipt or a number. We were just left at the counter with no direction either to wait or go to the table. Finally she showed up with teas we ordered and told us to go to the table. None of the tables were available. About 5 or 6 were left with dirty dishes. So I had to alert them there was nowhere to seat. The lady politely clean up the tables. Our order ended up going to some other people bc we haven't gotten the number. My sister wanted to grab a quick bite while shopping, so we took a brisk walk over to the Corner Bakery inside of Maggianos. The albacore tune sandwich was perfect on top of toasted bread. Corner Bakery is connected to Maggiano's, which could explain the terrible parking situation since they share the same lot. He was hopping towards us, on the floor, on the chair, on the table. Even with me shooing him away, he kept coming back. We moved to another table, and I left my plate and dish there. My husband had the turkey avocado sandwich which was decent but not spectacular. I had a side ceasar salad and my husband had the chips, which were tasty. Overall, our lunch was ok but the AT&T discount made it a little more palatable. If you're looking for a light lunch, this place is a good option. I've always loved Corner Bakery. I think their chocolate muffins are absolutely heavenly- one of my very favorite treats anywhere! I also like their DC Chicken Salad- it has currants, almonds and apples in it- delicious! I also like their coffee and appreciate that you get free refills on it (and the soft drinks) while you're there. Their lemonade is good but it sits out for a long time in ice in front of the checkout lanes and sometimes is warm by the time you get it- disappointing. No free refills on that. They have an option for half a sandwich and soup which is really popular. This location is great- at the far end of Streets of Woodfield attached to Maggianos. You order and pay at a counter and then they bring your food to your table as it's ready. They have friendly people working and keep the restaurant really clean. When the restaurant is crowded you are sitting pretty close to other people but I've still managed to have some great conversations with a friend here, over yummy coffee and my chocolate muffin. :) read more

CBC, oh how I heart thee. On our monthly trip to Chicago it'll be a given I need to stop at this Corner Bakery Cafe for my fix. Because we are in town for work, CBC is the perfect quick, In-N-Out breakfast spot for us. 'My' breakfast consists of the crave worthy chilled Swiss oatmeal. Without fail, this is what I order every single time. Oats, yoghurt, fresh banana, apple and raisins all mixed together and served with a crispy slice of sugared bread. Deeeelicious. To top it off, I order a slice of lemon pound cake to go. Because, obviously! I usually don't do sweet breakfasts, you will make me happiest with a plate full of eggs and potatoes. I'll up you one, CBC has AVOCADO on the breakfast menu and I still order the (non savory) oatmeal. I'll let you ponder that one... yup, it's that's good. Me saying 'no' to avocado is like the Kardashians turning down publicity. It just doesn't happen. On the flipside, he orders the commuter croissant; a warm croissant with cheese, scrambled eggs and bacon. Typically this is combined with a hand held pie or a couple of rugelachs and hazelnut coffee. I will have to come her for lunch some day, the menu is chock-full with paninis, soups and salads that sound amazing. I came here early in the morning expecting fresh products, but my chocolate chip cookie was hard as a rock. Why even sell me something this quality? Huge disappointment. Their cookies are normally pretty good, but not if they're over a day old. The employees are nice but a lot of them can be dingbats. I don't mean to be mean, but they come off as lost sometimes. The last time I came for lunch I had the pesto pasta dish. As they were preparing it, I could hear the manager in back scolding the employee for putting too much pesto in it...He was wrong. I got some watery dish that needed a lot more pesto. Overall I like Corner Bakery but I feel this location is poorly run and has slowly been getting worse. None of us had any complaints and food was excellent. This review is specifically to thank the staff! I must admit I wasn't prepared and I made the cashier adjust my order multiple times; about 3-4 times which she handled really politely. I was also impressed with their quick service we waited just about 10min. Great job!! Parking is a bit problem at this busy location, also the restaurant shares bldg with Maggiano which doesn't help. I have been to many of the Corner Bakeries in the suburbs and in the city, and food-wise, if you have been to one, you've been to them all. If I were to review the food at Corner Bakery, I would give it 4 stars - as I have liked every sandwich, salad, soup and muffin on the menu that I have tried, but their fountain soda is terrible...seriously, there is something wrong with their mix - not enough syrup maybe? Whatever, it's bad. However, this is not a review of Corner Bakery's food (or fountain soda) but rather a review of my experience with Corner Bakery catering. In mid-December I had a Christmas gathering with my "married friends" and their children out in the suburbs. We were going to be having our own Christmas dinner and everyone was required to bring a dish. I was assigned salad and bread. In an effort to save time and frustration, I elected not to make a salad or bake bread, but rather to purchase these items. I decided to go with Corner Bakery catering as I have always enjoyed their salads & rolls when I have stopped in for lunch. I am giving my experience with Corner Bakery catering 5 stars for the following reasons: 1) Ease of ordering: I went online, looked up the catering menu available at their Schaumburg location, called to place the order (24 hours in advance) and was finished with the task in about 3 minutes. 2) Staff: When I arrived at Corner Bakery to pick up the salad and bread, despite the heavy weekend lunch crowd I was attended to promptly and given my order without any delay. Everyone was very friendly -the employee who took my phone order, the employee who rang up my purchase, and the manager who greeted me and made sure my order was correct. 3) Correct order: Sadly, I have become accustomed to restaurants screwing up orders, and so I always kind of expect that when I receive my order, it will not be 100% correct. I was therefore pleasantly surprised when I received my order to see everything was exactly as I had wanted it. 4) Quality of food: I had chosen the Sante Fe Ranch salad and a basket of assorted rolls. It was definitely a crowd pleaser. The presentation was nice and the salad and rolls were delicious. I would, without hesitation, use Corner Bakery catering again if the need arose, and recommend it to others. read more
