    chicken noodle soup

I could not believe how little the BLT was, It had one slice of wilted lettuce, A couple tomatoes, Bacon was a nice amount, BUT you could tasted that it was old. Chicken noodles soup was extremely oily overpriced for the food!

The husband and I came here and enjoyed a lunch at this spacious and airy location. It was pretty busy as there are always plenty of people around Woodfield Mall. We shared an a-ok small chicken rosa pasta and a Choose Two of 1/2 chicken pomodori panini with a baked potato soup. The baked potato soup was saltier than I prefer.

I stopped by this Corner Bakery with my mother to get lunch. It was a perfect atmosphere. There were a few customers in there when we arrived but it was quiet enough that we could have a conversation. The cashier was very nice and helpful. I ordered the pick two option with the tomato mozzarella sandwich along with the cheddar broccoli soup. I got the side salad as a side. My mother ordered the classic Caesar salad with chicken. The food came out quickly and was served hot. The food is what you would expect if you went to any of their restaurants. It was good, not great, and filling. I don't get a lot of their desserts since I'm typically full after my meal. I recommend this spot if your in the area. The prices are reasonable and are very competitive for the crowded Woodfield area.

This Corner Bakery is typical and one of the several that are connected to a Maggiano's.  They have a nice location just north of the Streets of Woodfield and with a large, convenient parking lot.

This not a chopped salad at all, the chicken taste fake. I'm so upset that I wasted my money on this. I will never order this again. I didn't like the salad dressing that comes with it either. Please use grilled chicken, not fake rubbery chicken please.

Half-and-half, chicken tortilla soup and California Grille Panini sandwich

I've been here twice, both on a weekend (Saturday during lunch hours). Absolutely NO parking spots during that time. I had to park by Dick's. Corner Bakery is connected to Maggiano's, which could explain the terrible parking situation since they share the same lot. You can valet your car for $$, but I'd rather save my $$ and get the exercise. Gotta burn off those carbs! My go-to menu item is the half-and-half, chicken tortilla soup and California Grille Panini sandwich. It comes with a pickle and your choice of chips or carrots. I opted for the chips because I felt like pigging out. Both are pretty good for a chain restaurant. The service seems to be consistently decent at Corner Bakery. Friendly staff, quick to get our food, keeps the restaurant clean. Be wary if you sit outside at this location! Birds like to hang here and eat the crumbs. On my most recent visit, there was one persistent bird that was determined to get some of my friend's food (I was already done eating at that time). He was hopping towards us, on the floor, on the chair, on the table. Even with me shooing him away, he kept coming back. We moved to another table, and I left my plate and dish there. The bird ate some of it and then came to our table again! Finally, we just had to sit inside because my friend was freaked out by the bird. In the end, bird - 1, us - 0. Come here outside of peak hours if you can, and say hi to the bird for me!

Not my normal stop but a vendor brought in their muffins. I had their banana and chocolate. I am still thinking about their banana one. Wow!

Not too salty or bland. I got a fresh red bean paste pastry. SUPER fresh. I reached towards the back. The bread was very fluffy and soft. The bean paste was fresh and not too sweet. The ice pistachio matcha was recommended and new by the cashier. He was right! He mentioned how he puts 1 pump instead of 3 and there was a very very small amount of sweetness. If u don't want sweet, do 1 pump. The topping and foam adds some sweetness. Small/regular size was a perfect amount. I paid about $20 for 4 pastries and a regular drink. The cashier (long black hair) she had an unfriendly attitude from the start--no greeting, no smile, and it felt like she was already irritated. What made it worse was how both the cashier and the owner spoke to me. They raised their voices instead of helping. There was a promotion for 3 bakery items for $5. I accidentally selected 7 items instead of 6, and I clearly told them multiple times that I only wanted 6 and did NOT want the extra item. Instead of fixing a simple mistake calmly, they kept raising their tone at me, which was unnecessary and uncomfortable. As a customer, I expect basic respect and professionalism. This situation could have been handled politely in seconds, but instead it turned into a negative experience. I won't be returning, and I hope management seriously works on customer service.

However, I'd join when you are 10 minutes away as sometimes the line goes quick and you get passed. After we are called for our seats, we wait in a small line as they prep the table. After we were seated, the staff quickly gave us water as we looked over the menu. I was not in the mood for a fancy breakfast so I went traditional, Two Eggs over medium, veggie patties (homemade), hash browns and pancakes with decaffeinated coffee with honey. The food came in a nice time, not too long and not too quick- enough to have a nice conversation while waiting. When the food came, everything was cooked to perfection. The eggs over medium, the hash browns were cooked and had that bit of crunch from the skillet. Pancakes were a nice size. And the veggie patties were tasty! The coffee with just honey hit the spot. It appears everyone else really liked their food as it was pretty quiet. Lol. I enjoy this place especially bringing family and friends from out of town. Good times and great memories.

There is a lot of potential for this place but we were sorely disappointed at the lack of care for safety for patrons and drivers.
