Why didn't I discover this place sooner!!! It's like a chicken spot but dang the portion sizes are big I've had leftovers but that's the best part. I've been here twice and I got a bowl (think it was the Island) it basically is like Hawaiian style food they have chopped fried chicken over a bed of rice with coleslaw and macaroni salad. The spot is small but has a great restaurant aesthetic usually has 2-3 people working but depending on how busy they are. My wife and I went to order and pick up food last Sunday , we walked in and were well greeted , we ordered Nashville chicken and a bowl , the nice young lady said it would take a few minutes. We waited 10ish minutes, the young lady then asked if we wanted to try anything on the menu, she explained they make everything fresh and it was near closing so they wanted to give the left food away . Service was great. The cashier was friendly and helpful. The issue I have is with the staff amount. When I went on a Saturday at 1PM there's only two people working. One cashier and one prep boy/cashier. Shame on the owner or the manager who does schedules. I've been hearing about Egg N Bird for a long time so we tried it today. Got chicken sandwich combo and chicken strips combo. The place is a bit small and the number of tables are 5. Fried chickens are okay and nothing special about it. No sauce for the chicken strips provided when we got our order...you have to ask for it. Same with the fries, no ketchup provided. The servers working there seems to be nice but it could help more if they offer assistance such as: do you need sauce, what kind, ketchup, napkins, etc., since what they provide in the order is very bare. I would give no stars if I could. Poor customer service. My boyfriend and I ordered online and it gave us a confirmation saying our order was ready for pickup, we get there and the girl at the cashier said "we're out of chicken" we could barely understand her from how low she was talking to us. The manager paid no attention to us because she was on the phone, they refunded us our money and they could've at least given us a gift card or something for the inconvenience. All the staff had attitude and didn't do well with assisting us in this situation. They take your phone number when you order online but they didn't call us to let us know that they didn't even make our order so we drove here and wasted time. In conclusion they have really poor customer service and don't care. The food is good but I won't be coming back here. read more

I was dying to try this place for a long time.. I've only heard about it when looking for places to eat. Sadly upon my first initial visit I was greeted by an empty store (never a good sign especially when this area is busy) but there was 3 employees behind the counter. We have never been before and was looking at the menu and trying to soak in all that was offered but apparently my standing there was something to be made fun of by the employees who would rather make fun of a customer in front of their face. They then proceeded to ask if we were ready to order. This place is a joke. I don't expect top notch quality at these types of business but the very least you can do when you have an empty store doing nothing is try to act somewhat professional in front of the customer. Because of this experience I walked out without even ordering. Will never walk foot in another egg n bird for the rest of my life. As first impressions really do matter. I've seen this place several times while I've been in the area and finally checked it out today. I had the two piece combo. The chicken breading was crispy and when you bite into it the chicken is really juicy and hot. So much better than other places where the chicken is often borderline dry. The crack sauce was really good too. The fries were best when they were really hot, but since I tucked into the chicken first, by the time I got to the fries they were lukewarm (not the restaurant's fault). They were still tasty and really good with either ketchup or crack sauce. I have to say that after I finished my two chicken strips, I was left craving more. Will definitely be back. read more

Long story short there was a mistake. I was charged for a order and the system was down when I went to pick up. The next week after no refund went through I went back to the restaurant and the shift lead made my complete order and took care of me. Great customer service and food is awesome as well. read more
