    Jim's. Since 1981 or so.

A block from my junior high, I've been eating here since 1981. And now it's outlasted my junior high. Basic burger joint w/ messy burgers with shredded lettuce and big fat fries that spot the white paper bag. Came back 34 years later. (Told my wife I was going to hit the Jim.)

    Chili cheese fries

Love eating here.... they have the best chili cheese fries iv tasted in anaheim... highly recommend this place

Online Order Review Jim's pretty fair in price when you're looking for that mom and pops burger joint. Both order's I've placed through ubereats has been fair and haven't had any issues. All the foods I've had; Cheeseburger, chili cheese fries, breakfast burrito and breakfast combo is what you expect. I'd recommend this place if you're looking for a simple affordable meal that tastes good.

This place doesn't look like much on the outside. My husband found it on google. It looks like the inside restaurant is closed, but they do have outdoor seating available. The prices are affordable, and it seems like it's mostly the locals in the area that go to this place. All you see is cars pulling up and picking up phone orders. I find this super exciting. The food must be good. You can tell it wasn't door dash pick-ups either. We ordered: 1. Special breakfast burrito (It comes with bacon, ham, and sausage with egg, hashbrowns, cheese, and hot sauce.)- This had a little too much tomatoes and you couldn't taste the meat. We had put some country fried steak on it, and it was way better. 2. Country fried steak with gravy comes with biscuits and eggs - I was super excited for this, I was literally going to order a side of biscuits and gravy. It was a layer of biscuits, country fried steak smothered on gravy. I even asked for a side of gravy just in case. This hit the spot on a nice fall morning. 3. Bacon breakfast sandwich (hold the lettuce and tomato) - The bacon was crispy and meaty along with the fluffy bread. This was delicious. The lady who took my order was nice. The food itself was reasonably priced. They had a special for the special breakfast burrito, which was like $7.99. The country fried steak, I think, was like $12.99. For all the items I purchased, I think I paid $40, and that included a tip. I can't wait to come back and try more items.

I was in the area for a trip and found this whole in the wall, and it is a whole in the wall type place, reminds me of a burger spot in the LA area. Nonetheless we decided to give it a chance as we were looking for a sit down place but not really a restaurant and cost effective and this fit the bill. At fist it doesn't seem to have inside seating are but it does on the other side of the ordering window, small dining area but inside, there is also outside seating areas but non can accommodate large parties over 4-5 people. We order simple burgers and they burgers were really good they have that old school mom and pop vibe and taste which I love! But what shined was their fries! Great flavor and seasoned perfectly and served hot, the staff was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place and will visit again when I'm in the area.

My go to, my comfort, my favorite. Decided on Jim's the other night and the entire drive home from work I was excited. The local legend did not disappoint. Fries, rings, burgers and chicken strips and my dude threw in some chili fries because they appreciate their customers. Should be everyone's number one place for a burger. If you haven't yet, treat yourself to peak burger and fries. Sit outside and enjoy the patio. Thank you guys again for another great dinner.

Dose this one also have the DUI fries? Like the one in Pico Rivera.

I've never been to the one in Pico Rivera...but if they are owned by the same person I would hope and think so

Best pizza I have had in Southern California!…read more Location/Parking: ample amount of parking and easy to find the restaurant. In a safe area. Service: servers are very attentive and kind! Wait time on a weeknight was around 15 minutes. Vibes: chill and very family friendly. Casual pizza spot, but also great for date night. Food: The crust of their pizza is very airy and doesn't sit heavy in your stomach plus it just tastes great. I ate the Garlic Paradiso with sausage, which was rich in aromatic flavors from the rosemary and creamy. It does lean more on the salty side compared to their red sauce pizzas. The meatballs are so good and I highly recommend ordering some. They're flavorful, juicy, and the tomato sauce that they are in is delicious. The salads are good too, my favorite being the Caesar, although it is on the heavier side due to the dressing. Delicious food, great service, chill atmosphere, and good parking. Can't complain!

Service was great! I am a cinnamon roll lover, and I loved their warm glazed cinnamon roll. It is large and took it home to eat over the next couple days. We drove 40 minutes specifically because of an Instagram post by @laoc.eats featuring a prime rib…read morethat looked incredible. Upon arrival, we were informed that the prime rib was only available during Father's Day weekend. It would have been nice if that little detail had been mentioned in the post that inspired the trip. Since we were already there and starving, we decided to stay. Mistake #1. The medium rare top sirloin arrived looking like it had lost a fight with a blowtorch. It was so overcooked and rubbery that we couldn't finish it. We brought the leftovers home thinking at least our dog would enjoy it. She sniffed it and walked away. For anyone who has ever owned a dog, you understand how impressive that is. The meatloaf somehow managed to transport me back to my hospital room after my appendectomy. If you've ever wondered what institutional cafeteria food tastes like with a side of disappointment, order the meatloaf. The coleslaw appeared to be made from aging cabbage with visible brown and pink bruising throughout. To save myself a trip to urgent care, I passed on trying it. The mashed potatoes were the only thing that showed signs of life, but the gravy was so salty it could probably preserve a mummy and contained the dried skin that forms when gravy sits out too long. Even the lemon slices in our water glasses were slimy. The atmosphere felt less like a destination restaurant and more like the dining room of an assisted living facility. The average age of the patrons appeared to be somewhere around 78, which honestly started making sense once the food arrived. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was pleasant, but she seemed just as confused as we were about what was actually available on the menu. We left hungry, annoyed, and wondering how many other people had made the same pilgrimage after seeing that Instagram post. At this point, I have to question whether @laoc.eats actually eats at the places being promoted or just photographs them. This was our second disappointing restaurant recommendation from that account, and it may be the last time we use it as a dining guide. Forty minutes there. Forty minutes back. One edible side dish. I should have just stayed home and made a sandwich.

Just making my timely updated review. The lights were still dimmed, which brought a great ambiance…read moreto the dinner experience. It was very relaxed and just had chill vibes. The evening started off strong, as we stopped by during Hoppy Hour (around 9ish). There wasn't a wait, and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. The front staff was nice and polite. She gave us the option of either a tall round table or a shorter rectangular table. We of course, opted for the slightly shorter (height-wise) rectangular table. Once we were seated, we were given the menu, and the waitress told us that we would be right with us. She stopped by to ask about drinks, and we opted for water. She dropped off water and came back with perfect timing because by then we were ready to order. I also love the simplicity of the menu. There really aren't too many options where you feel overwhelmed, but there are still enough choices to pick from. Shout out to the pastrami quesadilla, I didn't realize it had been swapped for a new menu item until I asked about it this time around, but I'll be waiting for its comeback! We ordered a few items: the mac and cheese balls, the Wagyu bone marrow burger with truffle fries, and a double smash burger with ribbed finger potatoes. We had to get the mac and cheese balls since it was Hoppy Hour! I also didn't realize that on Wednesdays, the double smash burgers are half off. I'll definitely remember that for next time. After we ordered, the food came out quicker than I expected. It was a nice surprise. I think the first item came out about 10 minutes after our initial order. The mac and cheese balls came out hot, which was great. The breading made them super crispy and gave a nice crunch that balanced really well with the softer, chewier mac and cheese inside. I was glad the inside wasn't too runny since that would have made it like lava! I didn't see a cheese pull this time, but next time I'll try again to see if I can catch one. It was a great start to the meal. The burgers came out shortly after we finished the mac and cheese balls. I totally forgot that the truffle fries came with sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side, but it wasn't a problem that it was added on top of the fries. It just made them get soggy a bit faster, but that's no problem; it just means I've got to work faster! The burger was good and came out super juicy. I asked for it medium, and it looked about medium, so no complaints here! I never realized before, but the bread was so fluffy... it was a super pillowy bun with a nice bounce to it. It definitely helped balance out the meatiness of the patty. The hint of tomato gave it a nice, refreshing bite and really helped cut through the richness of the meat. The onions also added a nice sweetness to the burger, which was appreciated. I also snuck a bite of the ribbed potatoes, and they were good as well. They were a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, with just a touch of saltiness. I also stole a pickle from the double smash and realized I probably should have asked for pickles on my burger, but I'll remember that for my next visit!

3 stars for the food, but only 1 star for the service…read more I came on a Wednesday evening, and there were only a handful of people inside and out on the patio. You'd think with it being so slow, the service would have been attentive... but it wasn't. Our waitress only came to our table to take our order and bring the check. The only other time we saw her was after we flagged down another staff member because our fries were lukewarm. Unfortunately, the replacement fries were also lukewarm, so I'm thinking fries just aren't their specialty. I ordered the Al Pastor fish tacos. They were good, but nothing really stood out or made me want to order them again. I'm willing to give Eureka! another try because everyone has an off day. Hopefully the service is better next time, and I'll update my review if it is.
