What can I say, the lines are out the door and even after high season we had to wait. The food is awesome and the bloody Mary too.

My family vacations in Rehoboth once a year. Fortunately we decided to do brunch at Egg during the beginning of the week. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended we do "half" portions of items on the menu to be able to try out a couple of meals. Very happy she gave us that recommendation. I had the lemon crepes and pap's SOS. Normally I don't enjoy SOS outside of Lancaster County (the taste just isn't quite right), but this was better than any cream chipped beef I ever had. The lemon crepes were perfect as well. Not too sweet and light. Everybody at my table was pleased with their drinks (mimosas and bloody marys). Nothing but good things to say about Egg and I will continue to recommend to anybody staying in Rehoboth. We had brunch there again later that same week and I honestly haven't stopped thinking about my meals since. read more

Even in November this place was hopping!! Lucky to get a spot for one at the bar. Had a Bellini, delish! Got the Eastern shore Benedict (single) with a side of Milton sausage. The crab was fresh, the sausage excellent! Only critique was I couldn't really taste the egg or much of the hollandaise sauce, so it was a bit bland for me. However all in all a decent brunch. Dog Friendly and very inviting staff. We can down for the Dewey Beach Doodle Romp and this was our first time here. When you drive by you see the line waiting to get in so for us that's a great indication of great food. We got Eggs Benedict, Crab Benedict, Frittata and their house SOS on grilled cornbread. Very cool concept! Since the place is called Egg they have pictures of chicken, roosters and hens everywhere as decor, even for bathrooms. The place is constantly packed but it moves really quickly so the wait is usually around 10-20 minutes only. Parking isn't so great so give yourself some times. Went here twice for breakfast while we were there. We stayed right nearby so it was an easy walk there in the morning. Day 1: The wait to get a table was at least 30 minutes but we waited for seats at the bar to open up and jumped on them and were seated within 10 minutes. The bartender was very nice as were the other patrons that were at the bar--we had a few conversations and it was very nice. Loved the farmhouse feel of the dining area as well. I ordered the lemon crepes and they were delicious--very filling as well. I also had the coffee which was very good and not too over-powering. My friend ordered the Seafood Egg Benedict dish with home fries and said it was really good--she regretted not getting the double. Overall a very nice dining experience. Day 2: We went back again since it was so good the first time--we again opted to wait for the bar area to open up but waited a bit longer this time as it was even more packed. When were were finally seated we were seated next to a guy that was drinking and was a little obnoxious as he seemed to know several other diners at the bar as well and had no problem shouting across to bar to have a conversation--so that was a little bit awkward and not as enjoyable for us. We both ordered the Seafood Eggs Benedict dish and it was absolutely delicious! I just ordered the single but it was just enough for me without being too much. Over all I would say this is a great place to stop and grab a bite for breakfast. Plan on waiting a bit if you are in a large party or have to sit at a table--but if you chance it just right you can get seated pretty quickly at the bar and get the same great service. read more

Went there for Mother's Day. Got there at 9 with a 20 minute wait. which was reasonable. Not much space to wait on a cold rainy day. Very cute inside but also VERY loud. The staff was friendly. The menu looked great but all the food on all 3 plates were cold when they arrived. I would think as quickly as they were turning over the tables, there would be no need to hold our plates until they cooled off. The place is not that big so not many tables to be served. Egg is fantastic in every way. They have done a tremendous job of repurposing a space that has been empty and neglected for years. We were immediately seated in a spacious booth with electric outlets for phone charging. We were later told by the owner that her uncle built booths and tables. The menu is extensive and creative. Our food, biscuits and sage sausage gravy and cornbread with scrambled eggs with bacon, was delicious as was a Bloody Mary. Service was on point. My favorite place for breakfast in ReHo. Food is excellent and they have a great selection of drinks with brunch. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The one down side is the typically very long wait, especially at the weekend. But it is so worth the wait. If you are lucky you may be able to snag a seat at the bar. This place is awesome! If you see the jalapeño pork belly on the specials menu--get it! I'm not a huge fan of pork belly in general but they cook it in such a way that you don't feel like a glutton for eating all that pork fat. The meat is super moist and flavorful. I had the mini madam croque with the quail eggs and I loved it! Sorry baby quails but there's something about getting four mini sandwiches versus just one that tricks me into thinking I won the food lottery. The sandwich had the perfect amount of egg, ham and cheese and was broiled nice so the cheese bubbled and was nice and crunchy on the ends. It was super rich and filling that I ended up taking a mini sandwich home. Hubs got the biscuits and gravy, loved it and just wished there was more gravy. Before I could post this review, we ended up coming here again a week or so later because we enjoyed it so much. I went random and ordered the chicken livers. It was okay, but reheated the next day I loved it! Hubs had the eggs Benedict and it was excellent. Our friend had the crab and avocado toast ($17) which came with a lot of crab meat. The Paleo is fresh spinach, lightly grilled, more sautéed mushrooms, grape tomatoes topped with an egg. Luscious and not a belly stuffer. My partner enjoyed the biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs.
