Got the spring rolls, the peanut butter sauce was disgusting. You could taste it being old peanuts. Never coming back here again.

We've been ordering from this place since we've moved to Aurora... over 10 years ago and they never disappoint. The chicken lo mein is a reliable, child friendly favorite... even my picky eater loves it. I always get the Pad Thai, extra spicy and always have leftovers for lunch the next day- portions are plentiful. Always love the crab cheese wontons and egg rolls for appetizers as well. Employees are always super friendly and nice to talk to when waiting for your order. Unless anything changes, we'll keep coming back! read more

Sorely disappointed and embarrassed. Many years ago this was my go to place for Asian food. Moved away from the area then moved back. At some point I received a menu so when some friends and I were looking for Asian food, I told them about Egg Roll King. 1st - when called to place order was told the prices were higher than on the menu. The person on the phone said I was probably looking at a menu from 10 yrs ago. I said, hmmm the date on it is 12/2023. Silence 2nd - when order was received we were sorely disappointed at the serving sizes and quality of the food. In essence the boxed food (Lo Mien and Beef and Broccoli and steamed rice was in what appeared to be pint size containers). Thoughts, if that is the dinner serving can't and don't want to imagine what the lunch size looks like. Even though the Pad Thai had a good quantity of food, the noodles were rather dry. 3rd - Delivery was quick and the delivery person was cordial I was rather embarrassed that I recommended the place and will give my guest some of their money back as we all agreed it was so not worth the exorbitant prices. This place is good and Fast. A great stop for a fast fix of Chinese! Inside is kinda small, but I like it. Cozy feeling. The staff is always nice and take care of us quickly. For me and my lifestyle, it's all about time first. If I get good food, and it's fast, it's such a bonus for me! read more

Wow. Positives would be that you won't get food poisoning because everything is prison quality precooked food with a lot of sauce for flavor. Be careful with the sauce though, some of it is stored in metal cans and tastes exactly like oxidized metal. Absolutely nothing was good, even the "amazing " egg rolls are so girthy you can barely fight them in your mouth, once you get past that chewing is another story. They are too thick so they aren't fully cooked and are basically raw cabbage.. so I guess these are the freshest thing in the menu. This would be a great restaurant inside a prison, homeless shelter, or as an alternative to MREs for deployed soldiers. read more

I knew not to let my hungry override the reviews I was reading. The other Big red truck I ignored was an empty dining room at 12: 30. what infuriates me most is the fact I paid $52.00 for the worst food I have ever ever thrown away. Sesame beef or mystery something? Nasty. Veggie lo main. Flavorless and soggy, and way too much meat? Pork fried rice, not edible. Please believe me this is an honest review, not written out of anger, but out of hunger. The man taking my order didn't speak or understand English. I ordered my usual spring roll noodle bowl with chicken and he told me no. I've been having this for 15 years- he tells me no! I ordered it with no spring rolls and chicken. It was not good. Ordered the rest, husband picked it up $47. Have never paid that amount! Usually around $30. It wasn't good, sesame chicken was soft, the crispy noodles were chow mein noodles, not won ton pieces. Have gone there for years, rethinking it now. We've ordered to go here multiple times and the service is always fast! My go to is their veggie lo mien noodles and my partner's is their sesame tofu. We ordered for pickup once and it was so cute inside. Plenty of seating and nice ambiance. Would recommend! read more

The fried rice was just yellow rice, nothing else in it and not fried. The sesame chicken was mostly breading and the sauce was not right. The Kung Pao shrimp came in a small container with 5 small shrimp a few veggies and lots of goopy sauce. Hot and Sour soup was one of the worst I have had and I order this a lot. The worst customer service. Everyone else got great customer service and we were the only Black people there. We ended up ordering just egg roles as an appetizer after realizing what was going on and the family that sat down and ordered after us by 10 minutes got their entrees at least 15 minutes before us. It took us 45 minutes to get our two egg roles and only 3 tables were occupied including ours. Also the water spots on the ceiling turned black and dark green and it just looks moldy and gross when you look up. Not appealing at all. read more

Wanted to venture out and support a local business. Orderd from Egg Roll King East. Got the food within 12 mins. That worried us.... ordered fried rice as you can see below. I called and asked what this was. The mean rude lady said it's fried rice but no veggies or eggs because I didn't order that lol. She very rudely told me for 6.25 more I could add the eggs and veggies. But yet up charged for "fried rice". Food was soooo bland. Called and spoke to the lady she told us to bring her back the food. I like this little restaurant, but everything here is different. Its not at all what I expected. The egg rolls are larger than average, and they are tasty. I had the Pad Thai (pud thai according to the menu), it was good, filled with shrimp and chicken, and tasted nothing like pad thai. The mongolian beef was a little salty, but good. The service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant could use a bit of cleaning. The walks looked more stained than unclean, but either way...not great. read more

You know what's good at Egg Roll King? The Egg Rolls! They are giant and tasty. I didn't care much for anything else though, including the thing they served as "fried rice." It wasn't bad rice, but it definitely wasn't fried rice. I guess the Lo Mein was ok. I probably won't be back. read more

Lomein was made with spaghetti noodles, and overall flavorless, dumplings were so under seasoned it was as if they were stuffed with plain ground pork. The plain fried wontons were quite literally empty fried wonton shells. There was nothing in them, just fried wraps. The fried rice included in a combo was absolutely flavorless and dry, dry white rice fried in a pan with nothing else in it. The breading on the general Tso chicken was spongey and soggy as if it had been sitting in liquid all day and not freshly fried and tossed with sauce I understand I will never get the quality of Chinese/pan Asian food I grew up with on the east coast but this was the worst I've had in colorado to date. The only good thing I have to say was that it's quick and had generous portions, despite the portions being nearly inedible. I hope it was just an off night for them, but I won't be giving a second chance. read more

It has been awhile since I was here last but I feel like this place used to be better. The service has never been great, the lady that runs the house is never super personable or friendly but consistent. The restaurant itself could definitely benefit from an update to remove the wallpaper and pink booths but it has been that way for forever. The food was just ok to me this last visit. We had the Vietnamese eggrolls and the flavor was ok but they were very fat and not the thin crisp usual ones. I also had the combo noodle bowl and it was just ok as well. My husband has always ordered the shrimp fried rice and said it tasted the same but the portion size was much smaller than it used to be. In a pinch we'd go back but it would certainly not be a first choice. I certainly prefer Pho 888 on Sable for an Aurora Vietnamese fix. read more

We decided to come here after a fun day of swimming. My son had sesame pork and I had chicken lo mein. Both were quite tasty! They adjusted the spicy level of my sons pork so that it wasn't too spicy for him. The egg rolls were crispy and delicious. The restaurant is clean and offers a nice atmosphere for family or friends to gather. Food came out quicker than we expected. All in all we were pleased with our decision to lunch here. read more

I am the Egg Roll Queen! *yell that in your best Leslie Knope voice* Back to the restaurant: after reading through reviews just out of curiosity, it's obvious that people hate the service here, understandably so. The woman who I presume is an owner is pretty cold and a bit snippy; but, after dining in Korea, I will vouch that Asians aren't usually known for being accommodating and warm servers. The menu here is vast, but I always dash my eyes immediately to the little square of space that houses "Vietnamese Dishes" and I have never ordered anything beside either the viet. rice platter (my favorite, with beef), or viet. noodle bowl. If you opt for beef, expect a delicious sweet & savory meat and lots of it, served with a bed of rice and topped with crush peanuts and cilantro. You also get a nice side of sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. There might be some sentiment attached to this platter, but I really really love it and probably always will. Even as someone who doesn't eat much red meat, the beef is too good to say no to. Also, my step-dad ordered the beef and broccoli which was served with broccoli as well as an array of beautifully colored veggies--the sauce was several steps above Panda Express level. If you are like me and am not bothered by out of date decor, and can handle a server who doesn't care how your day is--but is very attentive to your water and tea level--then I implore you to make yourself a member of the Egg Roll Royalty. The GrubHub reviews for this place are so much better than Yelp, so I figured I'd try this place and make my own judgment.... Yelp's rating wins by far. Was this horrible? No. But we spent $39 on 2 orders of lo mein and 1 orange chicken and it was most definitely not worth it. We get much better quality food from Cherry Thai for less money (albeit this isn't Thai Food) The lo mein was fine. It's not something I would crave again, but it was edible. The name definitely fits. To be fair I only got a Thai iced tea and two eggrolls, but the eggrolls were probably the best I've ever had, the filling was crunchy and crispy and you could tell they just respected everything (especially the veggies) as they were building it. I dropped by the other day to grab a quick lunch. This was during the week and I was the only customer in the place. After a half an hour, there was one other table of people, and a couple folks had done take out. The place was clean and the service was fine. The food was okay. I went with the lunch special Mongolian Beef with steamed rice, and egg roll, and the hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup was rather gelatinous, but the flavor was good. The egg roll was goodly sized and had decent flavor. The rice was fine. The Mongolian Beef had snow peas in it, which is not a standard Mongolian veggie, but it was not off-putting to me (like if they had put in a bunch of celery). The flavor of the Mongolian beef was a touch salty, and the flavor was not quite what I expected, but it was not bad. All in all, this was C+ Chinese food. read more

I was planning on eating at Panda Express when I saw this place in the same shopping center. I thought try a real Chinese restaurant out instead. I wished I went to Panda instead! I ordered the chicken curry with fried rice. First while the flavors and veggies were good, the chicken had a slimy chewy consistency. It made me dread the thought of taking another bite of the chicken. I ate everything but the chicken. The fried rice tasted like rice that was cooked in bullion maybe veggie or chicken. It didn't taste like fried rice. No egg or anything just rice good in bullion. I will not come back here ever! read more
