I was weary this may have turned out like the Egg Roll King that is in Aurora. Absolutely not! This place was excellent for either take out or dine in. The lunch specials are a deal and even the dinner portions are reasonably priced. The employees are also super nice and answer any questions that you have. Pleasant surprise! Had an hour to burn while waiting for my car alignment and was starving. Was skeptical of the strip mall location but glad I gave it a chance. Lunch specials are a great value. I got the hot and spicy shrimp. Generous shrimp size and portion and loaded w fresh veges. Plus I got won ton soup and an egg roll and a fried won ton for only $7.95! I had the take the rest home for later. Will be back for sure and for take out, looking forward to trying more menu items. read more

This is a great little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. The food is pretty great. The chow main is really good and they have a sushi bar that is always clean and very yummy. The service is not the best and their phone is always ringing. So carry out is probably better than sit down. It's very good, but they do close from 2 to 5 everyday. read more

I've been working in this area for years and just discovered this place. I ordered Pad Thai lunch portion. Usually places give you a rather small portion but I was very surprised at how much I got. Plus I got an eggroll and a cheese wonton with the order. The pad thai actually has a good combination of sweet to spicy. They put a lot of sauce in it (which I love). Let me start out with saying this: I LOVE Chinese food! I've been struggling to find a decent, "go to" place since moving to Denver from Arizona and unfortunately Egg Roll King is not going to fit the bill. We had the sesame chicken and orange chicken and both were not bad, but they were not great either. The food is pretty good, but I recommend picking up your order. We requested delivery last weekend (quoted 30-40 minutes) after an hour I called they said oh yeah your order is next out the door, 35 minutes later the driver showed up. Not once did I get an apology from anyone....oh did I mention I only live 4 blocks from the restaurant. read more

We have been ordering from here since our favorite, Thai Hiep, closed. It's not the very best Chinese I've ever had but it's decent and the best I've found near us. We know they're delivery is slow with a quoted one hour and fifteen minute delivery time. It's been well longer than that the last couple of times and tonight it was nearly two hours. That in itself is unacceptable, but they don't answer their phone so you can't call to inquire, or complain. Tonight they forgot our egg rolls and there is no way to contact them since they don't answer phone calls and their voicemail is full. Ridiculous! That's basically the same as giving their customers the middle finger in my eyes. I read another review that had the exact same experience so I know tonight wasn't an isolated incident. This was the last time we will order from them. read more

Worst Chinese we have ever had. This was the last of all the Chinese places in the area we had yet to try. We ordered the sesame chicken and the sweet and sour chicken both with fried rice. The sesame chicken was tasteless and dry. The sweet and sour chicken was the same. The fried rice had no flavor and had nothing in it. It looked like steamed rice with a little color to it. Definitely won't be ordering again and certainly don't recommend. read more

Gross. The Thai red curry doesn't even resemble red curry in appearance or taste. Way too salty, no flavor, poor quality. Wonton soup was a dark, almost opaque broth, with no vegetables and two flimsy wontons. I spit it out, it was so repulsive. My boyfriend and I were in this shopping plaza for an errand, and saw this restaurant. He loves Chinese, so we thought - why not? Boy, were we glad! This is some of the best Chinese I have had in Colorado. (I'm from the east coast - nothing compares to the Chinese food there.) We have been back several times since, and it is always delicious! Some good old chinese food - stopped here for lunch - started with a hot bowl of good hot and sour soup with fried wontons. Got the chefs special Mongolian triple delight. Very nice fresh and hot, came with an egg roll and fried cheese wonton. Added some hot chili sauce and it was just perfect. Nice new find for me. Server was very cheerful and attentive. Ordered Pad Thai and it was very different from any other Pad Thai I've had before and I've had a few, even in Thailand. It was a bit greasy. Came with an egg roll which was kind of smelly. Overall my food was kind of smelly and sweet. I ate it all so it wasn't bad but didn't taste much like Pad Thai to me. Well hey I'm not Thai so can't judge. read more

It's pretty bad that I am forced to write a 1 star review without even having tasted their food. Over an hour and since ordering and still no food. When I called to find out what was taking so long, since they are fairly close to my house and I had a small order, I was told they never got my internet order. I call bull because I received an email confirmation. They didn't apologize, didn't offer any discount or compensation for the inconvenience and pretty much didn't care. I'm housebound at the moment and so can't go out and pick food up. Now I am housebound and starving. First and LAST time I will ever order from them. The delivery time was only 40 minutes, and the driver was very friendly. I was able to get 2 rolls of sushi, gyoza, and egg rolls for $20, so the price is great! The gyoza and sushi was good, but not the best I've had. The egg rolls really were great though, so the name is fitting :) read more

I'm not all that crazy about Asian food. I got burnt out on it as a kid and It's all pretty much the same to me. Well, the stir fry and steamed rice variety anyway - Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc. Not Thai or Indian - I love those. Anyway, today my boss had it delivered to the office for us. I picked the spicy shrimp. I grew up in New Mexico eating spicy food so I chose hot from the choices of mild, medium, or hot. When I got it I have to admit I was intimidated. It looked dangerous. Pieces of red chiles and seeds all over it. But it turned out to be perfect. Very spicy. Some places like to take the opportunity to make things unedibly (not a word?) hot when people choose hot. Glad that wasn't the case here. It was delicious! And I was surprised at how many giant pieces of shrimp were in there for a roughly 7 dollar lunch portion. At least 50% of the food volume was shrimp. I might just want to go back there. But probably not. Like I said, got pretty burnt out on Asian food as a kid. The restaurant is under new management and the food is vastly improved. I've lived in the area for years and had avoided this place for it's bland, oily sub-standard food but on a lark gave it a shot a few weeks ago. The food surprised me - actually hot, fresh and flavorful! I asked about the change and was informed of a change in management. I've since been back several times and each was consistently good. Just one booth and not that nice of an atmosphere. That's the only reason I gave them a 4 instead of 5. But whatever, I'd eat there over PF Changes for the food! read more
