I called this evening to place an order. I asked for gluten free Kung Pao Chicken and the regular rice be made gluten free. Both have been ordered previously with no issues. I was told I was not able to get gluten free fried rice with my order as they do not have it. I would have to order a fried rice meal. I advised I have received it before and was looking at the receipt of our last order that clearly stated gluten free fried rice. I was again told they didn't have it. But could order a meal of it which makes no sense. The person I spoke with was also unsure if their soups were gluten free. I feel they just did not want to make it as it was 7:15. I hear they do a good takeout business but my wife and I have tried dining in there twice recently and the service was terrible. Food was ok but not good enough to make up for an unenjoyable dining experience. Unfortunately Parker is a bit thin on good Chinese food. Stopped for lunch more than once while visiting Parker. Staff is polite and service is quick. The restaurant is very clean. We ordered lunch combos. Loved the soups offered. The egg rolls were too mushy for me. The entrees had good white meat chicken and were flavorful. I have to add that we decided to order take out dinner and it wasn't very good, with cold soups and the entrees were not as tasty as eating in the restaurant. I ordered delivery for dinner tonight and had an item missing. I called the restaurant to explain to them and asked if I could have a partial refund because I had spent more than $50 and I didn't get the right food. Instead of being understanding and wanting to keep me (the customer) happy, I had been called a liar and the man who answered the phone continued to tell me that he went and watched the camera footage so I needed to look better. Clearly I was calling them to tell them because I didn't receive the item. I just hate the kind of people who own restaurants and don't care about any customer loyalty or don't care if people want to return because they had a good experience. As if all of that wasn't enough to convince me to NEVER eat there again the food was below average. I expected more for the price that I paid but it was honestly awful. Have been going to Johnnys for several years and have never been disappointed. Even during Covid, they were top notch. Food was very good and good portions, especially their lunch deals. Easy to order over the phone, online or in person and the order is always accurate, on time and ready for pickup or quickly served and hot and fresh. Staff are friendly and attentive, and the place is always clean or well kept. Admittedly the bathrooms are not great (dated) but decent and functional. Seems odd to post about them but want to be fully transparent in this review. We get the crab wontons on every trip and the egg drop soup is awesome. They never disappoint. This is a classic case of not judging a book by its cover. Johnny's Asian Bistro in Parker was originally a lunchtime find by my brother in law. I snuck in a lunch with my sister and before you knew it, we were taking the whole family to Johnny's for quality Chinese food. They are located in a strip mall with a very low key storefront. They seem to be very popular for their carry out business, but eat-in keeps them hopping too. The staff is so kind. There are about three or four people who run the front of the house. Two of them know us well and anticipate our every need before we need it. Favorites have been the crab Rangoon, pineapple Thai fried rice, beef lo mein, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, pan fried dumplings and the king pao chicken. The quality is exactly what we are looking for at the right price point. If you haven't tried Johnny's yet, I'd say it's time to add them to your list. read more

My mom said that her hot and sour was one of the best ones she has tried in Colorado. Not sure what these negative reviewers are smoking but just straight up wrong. We had the Salt and Pepper Shrimp and the General Tsos chicken and it was amazing as always. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews but they are obviously ghetto folks trying to get a free meal. I've been going to this location since the opening and the Lone Tree location since 2010 and have always been blown away. You can count on quick, tasty and freshly prepared food here. Service was friendly. Lunch specials are great - you get a bowl of soup of your choice (hot and sour or egg drop), your main with rice and an egg roll. The roll was crispy and hot! Also ordered the scallion pancake that was really crispy and tasty. My kungpao shrimp was well flavored and had so many crispy tasty veggies. Also had a nice hot cup of jasmine tea. Excellent dinner this evening at Johnny's Asian Bistro! Very friendly service with food being delivered quickly. We enjoyed crispy egg rolls with hot mustard and perfectly crisp and cheesy crab rangoon. Our entrees were also excellent - the orange beef was quite nice with the perfect amount of heat, citrus and savory sauce. We tried the Cashew Chicken - deep flavorful sauce coating the tender chicken pieces and a nice array of vegetables including water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, onion, carrot, bell pepper, mushrooms, snap peas, baby corn and likely more, all topped with cashews. It looks like Johnny's Asian has changed hands, turned the corner and fallen way, way downhill. The walls have all been repainted chalk white and there's no real decor, not even up to strip mall standards. This was our family's go to place for Chinese for nearly 2 years, however, we've been traveling and it's been at least 2 months since we were last able to go. The prices are higher, the portions smaller and generally speaking the food doesn't taste quite right. The Wonton Soup tasted like Lipton French Onion with a little garnish and noodles tossed in, the lettuce wrap was rediculous, three little pieces of Romain lettuce. The Lo Mane tasted like someone dropped a bag of sugar in it and the spring rolls were so foul with rancid shrimp I tossed them. This wasn't the worst Chinese I've had, but I haven't had worse in well over 10 years. $50 down the toilet. read more

For the very questionable pleasure of that,I had to pay $2.95 extra for my little cup with two wontons. They were soggy. The broth was very like beef bouillon. With less flavor. The young man waiting on us actually seemed embarrassed by the extra price. He did a good job. The food was very forgettable. Noodles too thick in lo mein.
