Nice to visit and try something new once in a while. Their sandwich was delish, we got the bacon and cheese and royal west. Both were mouthwatering and yum. Service was quick, staff were attentive. The only thing is the parking. The place was full pack with a small location. Standing only outside , you take a bite while others are waiting for their turn on the table . We ended up eating them at home. We love dining and savoring our food in a new cozy environment.

First time here, great atmosphere, amazing service. Self serve counter but the staff was still very friendly and helpful. Very clean restaurant. No where to sit, inside or outside, but cute atmosphere, tons of options for drinks, And food. Wasn't quite as good as I was hoping for. Pretty messy sandwich. Burrito looked like the better option, pretty pricey but fair portion. Would recommend to give a try.

I'm happy to see that Egg Tuck has been expanding their locations! I've tried the one in Burbank which was great with a far better parking situation. I ended up getting my order delivered because I did not want to deal with searching for a parking spot in this area. The food came well packaged and fresh. I ordered the Royal Burrito and Bacon Cheese sandwich. Their breakfast burrito was really tasty and had a seasoned almost sweet Korean beef patty with caramelized onions, fluffy eggs, and cheese. I've tried their sandwiches and love the fluffy eggs paired with the soft buttery brioche bread. If you're looking for a hearty quick breakfast, Egg Tuck is a terrific option.

Sandwich. Got the sauces on the side.

Egg Tuck is an LA breakfast staple serving up tasty soft scrambled egg sandwiches on an incredibly soft brioche bun. I definitely enjoy the sandwiches here, but I think it would be even better if the brioche buns were extra toasted and not as soft. Still delicious!

self-ordering tablet system, pretty straightforward Side street parking, more of a grab and go place. Ordered the classic egg signature sandwich so flavorful, fluffy and soft texture: The buttered bread adds the perfect crunchy texture to every bite. You can also taste the aioli!

Imagine just being in the area and you find yourself to be extremely hungry and ready for breakfast. That's when it happens you see this little shop that's a yellow that just screams, "hey I'll shine some light on your day" with matching yellow umbrellas that, at that moment, appeared as sunny side up eggs. Yes, I was definitely hungry haha! I'd never heard of Egg Tuck up until this point. I've had Egg Slut, dozens of times, but never heard of Egg Tuck. "What is this, must be some bootleg shop, but eh, let me give it a shot" I said. WOW! Nevermind what I said about bootleg slut, this place stands on its own. I love the bread. It stands up airy, but not heavy, each slice as if sprinkled with a magical bakers dust so as to hold all the contents firmly yet gently within the perfectly buttered and toasted pair. Fluffy Egg Heaven. I love me some fluffy eggs. I also love me some sunny side up eggs. I also love over medium, fried, hard boiled... you get the picture. Mike loves him some eggs. THESE EGGS ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD. 5/5 Stars! creamy yet fluffy and set next to the crispiest fresh bacon, ooohweee. How was I able to bite through this so cleanly that the eggs didn't push out and fall all out? Egg Tuck could run a clinic! A sandwich that sits this tall, with this much fluffy egg and creamy cheese between two fluffy slices of bread, delivering the flavor and crunch minus the mess and egg loss. No lie, as I devoured my breakfast while looking outward from one of the tables, my wife and I witnessed a customer take his sandwich to his car and eat it from the driver seat. No drops, no spills, no fear LOL. That tells me he knew. And now, I know, this is no fluke. Egg Tuck is wearing a crown. Lest I forget to mention, the Tots. The tots were perfectly crispy, airy fluffy in the center. Perfectly crisp well balanced seasoning. Do it, pull up and order a sandwich. I dare you. LOL Egg Tuck, I am a believer. Overall: Excellent food, impressive execution, efficient service. Only downside is lack of seating for anyone looking to sit and enjoy their meal. Otherwise a 5 star for the food!

This was my first time at this Egg Tuck location. Parking is street parking and it is not an ideal space to dine at. There are standing tables outside with umbrellas, basically on the sidewalk but lots of construction and traffic around. Coming in, we were greeted by the staff and ordered on the kiosk. My bf has the royal burrito, which had cheese, tots, sausage and eggs. The sausages were korean style - which was sweet and savory. Very different from what we are used to in a breakfast burrito. I had the original egg sandwich. Personally, I found the eggs to be cooked to perfection since I love fluffy scrambled eggs. I like the bread they used, but it was getting sickening since the toast seemed to be doused in butter on all sides. They also add an insane amount of sauce on top and inside has spicy mayo on the bread slices. Overall, the first few bites were delicious - then I was struggling to finish it. The egg tots were crunchy and the over easy eggs had spicy mayo on top. I've also had Egg Tuck at their other locations, and the food was amazing. Maybe I came on an off day.

very yummy sandwiches, sadly they don't offer a seating area and the outdoor area is very chaotic right now since there's construction all over. it's pretty much just a pick up and go place.

Went on June 10, 2025, I ordered the Spicy Royal West Sandwich and a New Orleans Latte from one of two kiosks. The sandwich had a unique, bulgogi-like taste, but it was quite messy to eat. However, I really enjoyed the New Orleans latte; it tasted like a blend of honey, creamer, and coffee. Price: Spicy Royal West: $13.49 New Orleans Latte: $6.00

Just wow! I've heard many good things about Egg Tuck and was finally able to stop by during their soft opening. Tomorrow is their grand opening and they're having specials in the morning! I tried their eggy sandwiches and burritos. O-M-G the way they handle their eggs is unbelievable. That creamy, soft scramble is unlike any other egg I've had. And the bread they use for the sandwiches is the perfect match, so soft and spongy. I like the toppings that you can add like ham, bacon, soyrizo, and avocado. I also ordered their loaded tots and these were so good, too.

    Royal Sandwich

I have been looking for a breakfast sandwich place that uses milk bread and packs fluffy eggs in them! I can here with high hope but it honestly fell short for me.. We ordered off of a kiosk but when we had questions the servers were more than happy to answer. I ordered the Royal Sandwich with a side of tater tots and ranch. The Royal was absolutely messy! Hard to eat and the meat was not flavored. It has some type of mustardy tangy sauce on it and it really was not meant to be on a breakfast sandwich. The milk bread didn't have the integrity to hold the fillings together and honestly folded at the first bite.. I didn't enjoy it at all and it was difficult to eat given the messiness of it. The tater tots were cooked perfect and honestly I enjoyed them more than the sandwich. The ranch I dipped them in was also good but again, not the best. Ranch Score: 7.2/10 I'll continue my search for milk break breakfast sandwiches! :/

Devine!!!! An absolute morning staple! I had the Royal West. An exquisite Korean All- Beef patty on a pillow soft yellow bread, with this awesome egg sauce, and a faultless over-medium, fried egg, chives, all wrapped in a unique one of a kind, spill proof packaging. All in all 10/10. No lie! The fresh squeezed orange juice was a major flex as well. So,.. of you want to feel the perfect amount of fully satisfied, without being weighed down or greased out. The service was just how uou dream every place would be.. Truly happy to be serving you, fast paced and clean, prompt and precise! The place is super modern and in your face. I love a place where i can see the team compiling you food tight there! Slide by and grab your best new breakfast routine. Healthy, Hearty, and as Fresh as can be! Go check it out!!! What are you still reading for?! Tell 'em Terrell sent ya! T

It remains a unique addition to the neighborhood, as well as a good place to grab some interesting dishes. Since the opening of this particular business, the Zinc chain has opened in a few other locations. Those locations are much newer in not only their establishment but their design. This is not to say that this is still not an interesting, well-designed business, but, with time, it has become a little bit rundown. I hate to say it, but that is the truth. This location could really use an update and perhaps a deep cleaning. I was, in fact, kind of surprised at the condition of this business, for example, on the way towards their restrooms. From my opinion, it needs an clean up and an update. Also, the litter that surrounded some of the outdoor tables where I was sitting at my most recent visit was very surprising. This is just something to keep in mind if you're coming here for your first visit. In terms of what they offer for food, though it has evolved a bit over the years, they still have a great, heath-based menu, with some very interesting choices. For all of you vegetarians and vegans out there, you will, for sure, be able to find some tasty food to eat. Once upon a time, this restaurant was impacted with tons and tons of people. It was constantly full with people either going to the bakery and/or sitting down for table service. Shortly past their opening each day, there would be a line of people waiting for service. This seems to have changed, however. Meaning, if you're looking for an interesting place to eat, with some good dishes, at the far Southeast side of DTLA, near the lofts district, and you want a place without a long wait to get a table and/or your food, this may still be your place to go.

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I've ever had at Zinc. I've been coming here on and…read moreoff for the past four years and have never experienced customer service this bad. We started with coffee. My boyfriend ordered a mocha, and I ordered a salted caramel latte. His drink was fine, but mine had absolutely no flavoring. As a former barista, I could immediately tell it was just a plain iced latte. I politely asked the waitress if they had forgotten the syrup, and she insisted, "There is syrup in it, but I can ask them to add more." I knew there wasn't any syrup, but I didn't want to argue, so I said, "Sure, please add more." A few minutes later, the manager came over and told me they actually didn't have salted caramel. So I asked if I could just get a regular caramel latte instead. She then told me they couldn't make that either because they were out of caramel sauce, the very reason they couldn't make the salted caramel in the first place. So why hand me a plain iced latte and tell me it had syrup when you knew you didn't even have the ingredients? Why not simply come back and let me know you were out and ask if I'd like something else? Instead, I was given a regular latte at the price of a flavored one (plus they later charged me for the syrup they never even added). For context, I had originally ordered a dirty chai, which they also couldn't make. So that's two drinks they didn't have, yet no one thought to communicate that before serving me something completely different. When I told the manager I'd look back at the menu for another option, she responded, "Okay... are you going to tell the waitress what drink you want?" I just looked at her, confused, and said, "Well... yeah?" How else was I supposed to order a replacement? The interaction came across as unnecessarily rude. Then it was time to order food. My boyfriend ordered the truffle burger, and I ordered the French toast. The waitress came back a few minutes later and said they couldn't make the French toast. No problem, I told her I'd also have the truffle burger. She acknowledged it, wrote it down, asked how I wanted it cooked, and what side I wanted. I ordered it medium-well with fries. So both burger orders were sent in at the same time. About 20 minutes later, the food arrived, but only my boyfriend's burger and an extra side of fries that we never ordered. At that point, we didn't even bother saying anything about the fries because we were trying to avoid making things more difficult. We waited another 20 minutes (even though it was so slow). My boyfriend finished eating, and my burger still hadn't come out. Finally, we asked for the check and requested that my burger be removed since it never arrived. That's when the waitress told us I had never ordered a second burger. I was honestly speechless. I reminded her that she had taken my order after telling me they couldn't make the French toast. She had written it down, asked how I wanted it cooked, and asked what side I wanted. Her response was that she thought I meant only my boyfriend's burger. That explanation made no sense because my boyfriend's order had already been taken before she took mine. It honestly felt like we were being gaslit over something as simple as ordering a burger. To make matters worse, after we paid and were finally leaving, I looked at the receipt and realized I had been charged for the salted caramel latte that I never actually received. We had to go back yet again. Thankfully, a different employee, not the waitress or the manager helped us. They were friendly, understanding, and quickly corrected the charge. I'm not sure if management has changed, but this entire experience was unnecessarily frustrating from beginning to end. Everything that could have gone wrong did. Honestly, I should've taken the "B" health grade posted on the window as a warning. We ended up walking over to Blue Bottle next door for coffee instead, and I'd absolutely recommend going there if you're looking for a place that actually values customer service. After four years of coming to Zinc, this experience has me seriously questioning whether I'll ever be back.

I will also shout out their breakfast burrito, which is crispy, crunchy and filled with delicious inside. My only regret was not adding avocado, but it's a lovely place to catch up with friends and or do your work. I even saw some people bring some books to read outside in the sun on the benches and while I don't have that free time yet, it's definitely a goal to come back to do that. Shout out to the lovely cashier who is very patient with my order and everyone who was very kind.

I think there's only 4 or 5 dedicated parking spots available out front so you'll likely have to street park unless you get lucky. It can be difficult to find as the entrance is more on Santa Fe than it is on Mateo. I ordered an iced chai latte and my date ordered a pour over. I think he was pretty satisfied with his drink but my drink was mediocre. Chai lattes are my go-to so it's easy for me to compare and the drink here just doesn't have as much flavor as I expected and tasted watery. Not itching to return but if I did, I'd order an açaí bowl or a pastry as those seem pretty good.

That level of guidance makes all the difference when you're nervours... that patience and guidance it's exactly what you want in a venue partner. Prank was an excellent choice for our event. The location is fantastic, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the drinks and food were outstanding. Thank you so much. We will absolutely recommend Prank and keep it on our radar for future events in LA.

The open patio, the bar area and how it wraps around the corner where there is a smaller intimate section. The music was awesome, the bartender has a great pour and the people seemed to be really having a great time. Plans are made to come back and I must try the food when I do. Cheers!!

Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with authentic flavors and quality ingredients that stood out from the first bite to the last. The ambiance was welcoming and the art was tasteful. What truly elevated the experience was the service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the meal. They were quick to offer recommendations and ensured everything was perfect without being intrusive. We ordered the tostaditas de atún agua chile negro, beet salad, carne asada taco and Al pastor taco and watched the World Cup game. Distrito Catorce combines exceptional food, a great atmosphere, and top-notch service. It's the kind of place that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even finished your meal. Definitely plan on coming back to watch more World Cup games.

To be honest, I was already biased because his Smorgasburg pop-ups were consistently good. But Distrito Catorce is different , it's like art. My favorite dish was the tacos de papa with salsa macha. The crunch of the potato taco riding into the salsa macha and crema felt like home, but with some extra pop. His salsa game is on point. The scallion salsa on the ribeye taco was also gas. Lastly, I really dug the tostadita de atún. It hit perfectly on these hot summer days. Low-key, I still want to try the El Rey de Noche. Tacos de beef trompo are starting to hit LA, and dude was ahead of the curve making picanha-brisket tacos de trompo. Service is smooth too. The servers are helpful, and solid at the bar. Overall, it's a cool spot with a menu that feels unique to LA.

Made a reservation and our table was ready inside the air conditioned dining room with a fantastic view of the open kitchen. Dining is also available on the outdoor patio or at the kitchen counter! Service throughout the meal was excellent. Started off with the biscuits with cured ham and it was world class. The biscuits were super light and went extremely well with the butter-like spread along with the cured ham! The cucumber appetizer was also excellent and super refreshing for a warm summer afternoon! This was also served with slices of super fresh toast. Thse soft shell crab was excellent as it was lightly fried and served over a bed of super fresh vegetables! The hen of the woods mushrooms dish was also a standout dish served over some polenta cakes which were also excellent! The hanger steak was decent and may have been the weaker dishes for lunch. The barramundi entree was perfectly cooked with super crispy skin along with a moist interior. Ended off lunch with dessert which was also excellent! Parking may be trickier within the Arts District. Parking right outside the district may be the answer! ~$65/head after tax and gratuity for lunch.
