Sesame bagel with baby greens, egg, bacon (well done) and cream cheese!!!

Shout out to Layonel, Marian, Ken, Xion & the rest of the team for always serving up the most impeccable breakfast sandwiches in Los Angeles !!! There's always attentive, organized and the cleanliness from the restaurant to the way they operate is the reason why I keep coming back despite the old bakery's closure.

The bacon, egg, avocado, & cheese sandwich with garlic cream cheese on the cheese/onion is the most incredible bagel I've had between both coasts! I've heard from native New Yorkers that they approve of Brooklyn Bagel and I had to follow the suggestion. Their classic tomato open-face is also super refreshing. I like their wide selection of bagels to choose from. We came at a good time and got straight to the cashier, but a line formed quickly behind us. Our 1.5 bagel order came out within a decent amount of time for my hunger to build up but it was worth it for the warm bagel sandwich. The iced vanilla latte is very decent and priced well. Unfortunately, they only have very limited outdoor seating. It would be great to have a little more seats because I needed to stand outside the store and eat my bagel immediately because they're so good when it's hot.

Brooklyn bagels was great. I had the egg bagel and my partner had an everything bagel. We really enjoyed the bagels. We went late in the day so the options were limited but the full menu is solid. The staff were helpful and happy to answer questions. The vibes give off what a bagel shop should be like. The parking isn't easy but isn't impossible either. I will be back!

tl;dr one of LA's longest tenured bagel specialists, this Westlake bakery is firmly average at a relatively reasonable price Brooklyn Bagel Bakery is only of the oldest bageleries in Los Angeles, originally founded in 1953. This makes it over half a century older than the LA's trendiest bagel specialists. But Brooklyn has been a player in the LA wholesale game for decades, supplying some of LA's most reputable cafes (including Langer's just a few blocks away). So it's no wonder that the brand's direct-to-consumer brick-and-mortar shop off Beverly is routinely ranked among the city's premier bagel destinations. Outside, a few benches sit beneath the sprawling awnings and the vertical, royal-blue bagel sign. The contemporary rap shaking the walls is a sharp contrast to the retro decor. The whitewashed walls are adorned with old-school photographs of the Brooklyn Dodgers and the original red, white, and blue menu board from 1978. Filamented bulbs cast a warm glow around the stainless steel and worn-wood trim. Even deep into the morning, the ovens churn out steaming hot bagels. With just a narrow standing-only bar counter, most customers opt for takeout. My partner and I visited late on a weekend morning, and we faced a short wait after placing our order. The bagels were bready like grocery store varieties, and the dough leaned toward soft pretzel. The main advantage of Brooklyn was the unique bagel varieties. Our favorite was the Pizza Bagel (decked with baked mozzarella and Italian spices); it was just a dollop of marinara away from being a serviceable pizza alternative. Otherwise, the Everything and Egg Poppy Bagels were average, and the Cranberry Apple Bagel was subtly fruity at best. Meanwhile, the cream cheese was light and whipped. The lox variety was slightly gritty owing to the thinly sliced, well-proportioned lox mised in, while the Nutella-infused spread was overpoweringly sweet and chocolatey. Our bill worked out to $15 total across 4 bagels and 2 small spreads. The service seemed efficient but was mostly transactional. Prices felt reasonable (loose bagels hovered around the $2 range), even if nothing stood out inherently as premium. Brooklyn Bagel Bakery may not be worth a dedicated visit out of your way, but it can accommodate an adequate bagel if you're already in the neighborhood.

Delicious! The perfect place to stop before our long drive back from LA. Great customer service and yummy bagels and orange juice.

I bought 2 dozen bagels here this morning for an office baby shower. Workers were cool. I was so excited to eat it since I waited an extra 6 mins to get fresh sesame and plain from the oven. The bags were still warm when I dropped it off in the conference room to set up. But what happened was embarrassing: some bagels were good and some tasted stale. My everything bagel was dry and I was horrified to think the rest would be like that. While we were cleaning up I started to ask the committee folks if they ate a bagel. I found out the everything bagel and another type were definitely the wierd ones. Ugh!

Stumbled upon this place by happenstance and boy am I glad I did! I got a vanilla latte, a chocolate chip bagel, and a bacon, egg & cheese. Latte was good, the chocolate chip bagel was great, but the sandwich... DAMN was it amazing! I can't stop thinking about it. The size was even too big for me to finish, and I like to eat! But mama didn't raise no quitter, so after a few minutes I took the last few bites and put it to bed. The gal at the counter was super sweet and helped with this first time customer by giving me a few suggestions of what to try. A appreciated her patience and eagerness to help me out. Walking into this place felt like taking a step back in history, felt like an old time corner bakery, there were half a dozen folks running about working, made some friends in line, and the wait was practically none. The whole place had a familiar and welcoming vibe to it. My new go to place whenever I make a trip down to Silverlake. Highly recommend to everyone. Sorry, no pic of my food, I was so hungry I forgot to take one!

Top notch bagels! Stopped by with the fam to enjoy an open lox bagels , one of the most delicious lox bagels I have had in a very long time super fresh. The staff is A-1 great people. It's always a vibe coming here. Come check them out!

This bagel shop offers a variety of bagel flavors. I ordered one my favorites, the cheese and jalapeño bagel with an iced coffee. The bagels are always so fresh and the staff are always friendly. What makes this place truly special, though, is the nostalgia that it brings. Revisiting after many decades felt like stepping back in time. When I was younger my grandma and I would walk here to pick up bagels, back when it was where the gym is now. Truly a special place with amazing bagels and friendly staff.

my friend and i got the bacon egg avocado bagels and they forgot the bacon on both of our orders! the shop itself is quite small but the there weren't more than 3 people ahead of us so i couldn't even justify it as they forgot cause it was busy. i also got a pizza bagel and that' was good, overall it was alright aside from the missing bacon

I have only tried this place once (07/30/25) which is a shame because they're not too far from where I work. My coworkers love this place and have been multiple times. I decided to place an order and wasn't disappointed. Onion bagel with garlic cream cheese - sign me up!!! Love that it's unpretentious in an area where everything else is pretentious. Will be going back to try something else.

Went on a Sunday at 6:30am. It's all street parking, so good luck. But the time I went it wasn't a problem :). When I went it was busy with locals and pickups! The atmosphere was quite friendly and although it was busy, people there were all nice. There is not inside or outside seating so everything is to go. I got the LOX bagel with 6 assorted bagels and a pumpkin latte with almond milk. The lox bagel was good and thick. It all tastes pretty fresh. The assortment of bagels all feels nice and soft and I equate that to fresh... (I'm not a bagel expert :p) The latte was good. I only wish that there was a larger option :), but all good! If I am in the area again and the parking is easy, I'll definitely be back!

This location on Wilshire Blvd in Koreatown is the smallest of the three I've visited, with under 10 seats available. It's a compact shop, and most customers opt for takeout. It's a narrow shop, and most customers take their orders to-go. I've previously enjoyed the La Paradiso and La Toscana, with the La Paradiso being my personal favorite. For our first visit with our son, we asked the staff for recommendations, and they suggested either the Venice Beach (Turkey) or the New Yorker (Roast Beef). The staff was incredibly generous, offering a roast beef sample, which our son loved! We also appreciated them providing ice and straws for our water. We ordered the New Yorker ($19.00) with roast beef, porcini cream, tomato, and arugula. The sandwich was thoughtfully cut in half, perfect for sharing. The schiacciata bread boasts a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, which beautifully complements the meats and cheeses. We opted to substitute the porcini cream for mozzarella, which was sliced into perfect bite-sized pieces and tasted incredibly fresh. The roast beef was thinly sliced and tender, the tomatoes were fresh and sliced to perfection, and the arugula added a delightful peppery crunch. It's a well-balanced sandwich and one of the best in LA. We would definitely order it again. A big thank you to the female staff member who expertly cut the meat and offered samples, assisting us in making the perfect choice for my son's sandwich. This experience was truly a positive one for our family. I would definitely return to AAV for the excellent food and service. Given the small size of the shop, takeout is recommended, especially during peak hours. The sandwiches at AAV are so good! Fuggedaboutit!

Order online and have some jump out of the car to pick up your order. There is no seating inside but maybe a chair or two outside. The neighborhood is a little rough around the edges so you may want to get that food to go. We tried three sandwiches and they were all huge. The crispy chicken caesar wrap is phenomenal and I am not one who usually orders this particular sandwich anywhere. It comes with a creamy sauce that I might have drank directly from the little cup. The wrap is packed full of chicken and it is refreshing and excellent. It doesn't look huge but trust me, the wrap is packed full and you will be plenty satisfied. The Antonia sandwich comes with turkey, cheese, avocado, tomato, and garlic aioli. It isn't all that unique a creation but for what it is, it is very fresh and very good. It came loaded with delicious turkey. The Martha sandwich (chicken salad, apples, fennel, argula, herbs, etc.) is on special right now. Personally, I am not a big chicken salad guy but you get a lot of it and the person in our party who ordered it liked it a lot. We also tried the arancini and they were excellent. You get three arancini balls and fantastic vodka sauce on the side. This is a winner. To be honest, practically the entire menu sounds great to me. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home.
