This is my first time eating at this Eggbred location. This review is centering in my customer experience. This Sunday morning (weekend) I ordered 2 sandwiches and beerbattered potatoes at 10:06 am. I got a text at 10:14 am saying my food was ready (8 minutes from my order getting taken), but when I went to the front the employee said it was not ready. In the span of my 25 minute wait and delay for my food, I saw another customer pick up someone else's order and I noticed 2-3 other customers impatiently waiting for their order too. My food was ready at 10:31 am. It's a bit sad and frustrating to see other customers and myself wait longer, especially if/when they received a text indicating it was ready. The organization and communication seemed off as I observed and waited for my food. I would avoid this location as the morning rush was quite an experience and you might expect to wait 25 minutes. read more

The burritos have a good amount of protein and have some potatoes inside. As far as Sandwhichs the bacon egg and cheese sandwich is another flavorful item. The jalapeño ketchup goes perfect with the bacon egg and cheese sandwich to add a savory feel. A spot I plan on going back for more and more. I ordered delivery this morning and the food was clearly not fresh. The kids' breakfast bread was rock hard, and the entire order tasted like leftovers from the day before. Maybe they don't like dealing with delivery services, but that doesn't excuse the terrible quality of what we received. It's hard to believe you could unintentionally serve someone food this bad. We eat at the La Habra location often and have never received anything even remotely close to the awful food we got this morning. I figured it would be busy, but I was still not prepared for the long wait. Ended up waiting 1.5 hours and was definitely questioning my life decisions in the moment. Despite the long wait, the food was good and fresh which I was thankful for since I was so hungry from waiting. The cold brew which just okay, I wouldn't get it again. The Country Fried Chicken Sandwich was huge and so good. The Ben Franklin was also good. The Beer Battered Potatoes were crispy and seasoned well. Walked into Egg Bred in Santa Fe Springs and apparently being greeted isn't part of the job. The girl at the register was too busy on her phone to notice anyone standing there. When I asked about a kids' menu item, she hit me with a dry "it comes with potatoes" -- cool, but I was asking what the actual meal was. After ordering, she spent more time flirting and laughing with the guy working across the counter than helping customers, while giving everyone else attitude. She was all smiles for him but cold toward everyone paying to eat there. When I finally got my food, all I got was a quick "sorry." After waiting that long, a complimentary drink, would've gone a long way. As a long time fan of Eggbred itself, this location is the worst. I placed an order for online pickup, received a notification that it was ready, arrived within 5 minutes for them to tell me that someone else picked up the order. I asked who they gave the food to, or how they verified that the food was for the correct person, and they just seemed confused. They showed me my receipt and I said "Yes that's my order, so now you need to make it twice since you just gave food away randomly." Just a tip to service workers when dealing with online orders, you need to be verifying them by asking for the receipt or something. I'm genuinely baffled that she tried to tell me someone else picked it up as if there was nothing they could do, when I'm the person who ordered ahead and paid.
