We tried the BEC and scrambled sandwich and both were just amazing! The brioche buns were soft and the scrambled eggs were so soft it literally melted in my mouth. The arugula with the cheese made it a very delicious taste. We also ordered a couple drinks including the match with strawberry. Oh how yummy they were. I did like how they some interesting options in the menu and would love to fry the rest of them, especially the one with the chicken. If you're looking to maximize your satiety and your money, stick to the sandwiches! About the "right stuff": The Scramble Sandwich was great. I was really impressed by the buttery brioche bun with fragrant chives and onions accompanying the egg in between. But the Eggy was underwhelming because the texture felt one-note and the size of the mason jar that housed it was pretty small. Not sure why they're charging the same amount of money for a noticeably less filling "specialty". About the "right time": If you want to dine-in on a weekend, this place will make you wait. I came on a Saturday morning and had to wait upwards of 30 minutes for a sandwich and two Eggys. 10 minutes of that time was spent looking for an open table. Try to come on a weekday or an off-hour if you don't want to wait. Or just order ahead for takeout! Would have been better if at a fast food drive through. There was a lot of spongy soggy chicken breading. Which sucks because the breading had good seasoning. Made me think I was biting into undercooked chicken. Bread is decent. Arugula was fresh. It's mostly dark meat, which isn't a personal preference but isn't necessarily a bad thing. Spent the day in San Jose with my cousins and decided to try this spot out for brunch. We ordered the eggy, waffle fries, the breakfast burger, scramble sandwich, the chic sandwich, and the Hawaiian morning sandwich. For the drinks we got a strawberry hojicha latte, summer breeze, pink dream, and a caffé latte. The Eggy was a really interesting appetizer! We all thought that was good. Wow, I'm surprised my local shopping center has an Egghead now! I've only been to the one in Cupertino last year and although the food was amazing (seriously one of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had), I remember it was slooooow AF. Luckily you can place an order in advance online, and it's nice that they open early at 7 am so you can get a breakfast sandwich and coffee. I ordered the egg sandwich with chives and cheese and my husband had the chic. I also had the iced matcha coffee with 50% sweetness. The drink was just okay, wouldn't go out of my way to order it again but I'll try their other iced coffee/tea drinks later on. Egg sandwich was delicious as expected and very filling! Turns out the bacon was super flavorful and kind of meaty (? lol). The reason I don't usually like bacon is because it's too salty and crispy so this was perfect to me. I come here pretty regularly to pick up breakfast for the family on the weekends. It's definitely a delicious quick meal that's easy for every one to get something they'd like. I fairly enjoyed most of the sandwich because of the juiciness of the chicken and the delicious sauce they used; the chicken was very gooey towards the center though. I later realized it was a very thick layer of fat.. I was not a huge fan of the texture. Overall, I had a good experience because staff was super friendly and helpful. Despite being disappointed with the sandwich, I did enjoy their hojicha latte. It had a very fragrant and roasted green tea taste -- it reminded me of roasted oolong. The eggy was smooth and seasoned well, went so great with the toast. Lastly, waffle fries were on point - wouldn't normally be available for breakfast but so happy it was! I enjoyed how big the chicken was since you could eat it as part of the sandwich and on its own. The bread was soft, spam was delicious as always, arugula was nice and added a good bite, and sauce was pretty tasty. The scrambled eggs looked so light and fluffy but, when I bit into the sandwich, they crumbled everywhere. Overall, the sandwich was quite messy and very salty. The last bite, unfortunately, was a huge egg shell that ended my breakfast on a crunchy and not very pleasant note. Sad to say that I probably won't be coming back. read more

When I saw this place I was immediately excited because I'm a huge egg fan, and this place truly did not disappoint! I have gone here when the original location was in Cupertino. I love the Eggy where it has the mash potato base, topped with a poached egg, chives, bacon, and a secret sauce. It comes with three slices of baguette. Delicious. I just wish they have provided more baguette. If you like something more meaty, the Chic is also good.
