No hellos, looked annoyed to be there and looked like they would rather be anywhere else but taking my order. I originally tried to use their machine to order for dine in but when I went to check out it said "sone items in your cart cannot be dine in. Remove before ordering" but it didn't specify which items could not be for dine in. The Chic was great, chicken was big and juicy, the sauce that came with the sandwich was a great pairing. Yummy! Having moved in the area we were looking for some nice breakfast places. We liked their menu and decided to immediately DoorDash a few things. We tried the BEC and scrambled sandwich and both were just amazing! The brioche buns were soft and the scrambled eggs were so soft it literally melted in my mouth. The arugula with the cheese made it a very delicious taste. We also ordered a couple drinks including the match with strawberry. Oh how yummy they were. I did like how they some interesting options in the menu and would love to fry the rest of them, especially the one with the chicken. It definitely appears as though the employees as this location do not give a DARN about being here. Terrible experience I went in the morning to get some food for my girlfriend and I. I placed my order at 10:31 am was expected to be ready at 10:59 am. I went to check up on my order at 11:00 am and only found to orange juices I had also placed an order for two bec sandwiches but were nowhere to be found I asked the employee if the sandwiches were ready. The employee made note that they were not even being made yet obviously there was an error by the staff I had an appointment to attend soon so I requested a refund for wasting my time. The employee stated that their system was down so they took my number down. The employee told me to take the orange juice as courtesy so I took them come to find out the orange juice was already watered down due to sitting on counter and they also stated that they weren't going to refund me for the juice because I took it even though the employee told me to take them. If you're looking to maximize your satiety and your money, stick to the sandwiches! About the "right stuff": The Scramble Sandwich was great. But the Eggy was underwhelming because the texture felt one-note and the size of the mason jar that housed it was pretty small. Not sure why they're charging the same amount of money for a noticeably less filling "specialty". About the "right time": If you want to dine-in on a weekend, this place will make you wait. I came on a Saturday morning and had to wait upwards of 30 minutes for a sandwich and two Eggys. 10 minutes of that time was spent looking for an open table. Try to come on a weekday or an off-hour if you don't want to wait. Or just order ahead for takeout! Would have been better if at a fast food drive through. There was a lot of spongy soggy chicken breading. Which sucks because the breading had good seasoning. Made me think I was biting into undercooked chicken. Bread is decent. Arugula was fresh. It's mostly dark meat, which isn't a personal preference but isn't necessarily a bad thing. This is such an amazing addition to any neighborhood! For so long, breakfast food offerings have been so basic and I'm so glad Egghead is here. The Chic is the best and I don't think you can beat the combination of fried chicken, arugula, egg, and that brioche bun. One word of recommendation- get the extra sauce option, you won't regret it. The Scramble Sandwich with bacon added was probably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. The bread was slightly sweet and soft (and bonus points to them for making the bread in house!). The eggs were cooked perfectly, creamy and not overcooked. I don't usually like bacon but I noticed that their bacon was thick cut, so I thought that it might be good. Turns out the bacon was super flavorful and kind of meaty (? lol). The reason I don't usually like bacon is because it's too salty and crispy so this was perfect to me. The only thing I would change is maybe toast the bun a little bit more. But overall one of my favorite breakfast I've had in a while, not too heavy or greasy, unlike many breakfasts I've had. My boyfriend's B.E.C egg (not pictured) was over hard and looked a little sad even though he didn't ask for it, but his was still good! I tried The Chic, which had fried chicken, arugula, and a fried egg. Slightly disappointed, I was expecting the yolk to be runny but it was fully cooked :( The biggest disappointment was the fried chicken though. I fairly enjoyed most of the sandwich because of the juiciness of the chicken and the delicious sauce they used; the chicken was very gooey towards the center though. I later realized it was a very thick layer of fat.. I was not a huge fan of the texture. Overall, I had a good experience because staff was super friendly and helpful. Despite being disappointed with the sandwich, I did enjoy their hojicha latte. It had a very fragrant and roasted green tea taste -- it reminded me of roasted oolong. This is my second visit to Egghead, and I love how simple the menu is, making it easy to select what I want. Because the menu was short and simple, the food was well-prepared and flavorful. The sauce tastes good at first, but you'll get tired of it after a few bites, and it's mostly bland and spicy. The salad is an absolute must-try! I love the cheddar eggs and the freshness of everything. I have to say that their drink menu was not as impressive. I recommend the honey matcha! The bread was soft, spam was delicious as always, arugula was nice and added a good bite, and sauce was pretty tasty. The scrambled eggs looked so light and fluffy but, when I bit into the sandwich, they crumbled everywhere. Overall, the sandwich was quite messy and very salty. The last bite, unfortunately, was a huge egg shell that ended my breakfast on a crunchy and not very pleasant note. Sad to say that I probably won't be coming back. read more
