    Inside - clean and organized

I visit this location a few times a month. The employees are nice and usually pretty quick. I love their online order option for pick up - always ready on time and made to order. They have a good variety of sandwiches - I love the Mr. Pickles and Listen, Linda. The downside is the tiny parking lot - really hard to get in and out. I would park in the lot by Starbucks and walk over.

Really enjoyed the sandwich from here. They have a WIDE variety of sandwiches from here and I really like how you can customize even the pre-determined ones. Reasonable priced and the sandwich isn't crazy big. Its a good size and half of the sandwich can be a snack for the average guy. I do wish they would've put a little more sauce in my sando but I guess that just depends on the person making it.

Sorta funny cause I was looking on Yelp to find a decent salad spot near my work & I was surprised to see a Mr. Pickle's in the area! I've only known of the one in Livermore when my husband used to live there. Although they have salads, I couldn't pass up getting a sandwich even with it being a half! I couldn't decide since they have so many options that sounds all so delicious, both hot & cold sandwiches. I saw that the vegan sandwich had a pesto aioli & I ended up making my own sandwich with turkey deli on dutch crunch without the usual condiments or onion. It was a pretty hefty half sandwich but so yummy with the pesto aioli. I always have to have some chips with my sandwich & they have a great selection. Forgot they give you a chocolate chip cookie too so that was a nice treat afterwards! Staff were so helpful, friendly & patient (I felt like I took longer than usual to order anything lol). They had a good playlist going on too so it was enjoyable to listen to while eating lunch there. Will def be back & perhaps try a hot sandwich although I'm a sucker for cold cuts!

Really good and tasty sandwiches! Decent size! I got 2 since I am a big eater. I recommend it!

This is one of my favorite sandwich places. Every time I walk in I am greeted with a "welcome in" Today I ordered the ranch chicken sandwich and it was fabulous.CeCe who is the person who made my sandwich and she made an amazing sandwich and she was very polite and friendly. Mr. pickles is just an amazing place for sandwiches. The service is great!

The good: Sandwiches are the perfect food. It is handheld and fits tons of ingredients. It's something I've been craving a lot during my pregnancy despite recommendations not to eat deli meat. I tried a turkey sandwich on the Dutch crunch bread. I was pleasantly surprised to get a free chocolate chunk cookie. It was chewy and tasted fresh. The sandwich tasted great and was well balanced in salt and vegetables. I liked that I could bite into the sandwich without it all falling apart. The bad: I keep trying Dutch crunch at every sandwich shop that sells it because it always seems to be a best-seller but I'm realizing now that I'm more of a sourdough or white bread gal. The interesting: Their Dutch crunch was crunchier than others. It had a sweet onion flavor to it.

First time for me at this location but I've been eating Mr. Pickles since I was in high school (20 years ago). The store was nice and clean. The workers were all happy and just gave the place a great feel to be in. Customers were handled super quickly and the vibe and ambiance of the place was just a pleasure to be in. The customer service was amazing. I was greeted immediately after entering the store. They took my order and got everything right! The lady that wrung me up was so sweet and kind. She even gave me a cookie! The cookie was nice and moist! Just what I needed at the end of my meal. My go to is always the roast beef on Dutch crunch. The Dutch crunch was fresh from the oven. So my sandwich was nice and toasted. Definitely coming back again.

Mrs Pickle sandwich with the works
    Alice C.

I was there Thur 5/23/24 at 2:30pm, I asked the woman behind the counter which one was her favorite and she recommended Mrs Pickle with the works and boy was she right. Soft bread stuffed with all the goodness of turkey, cheese, veggies & bacon (on the side for me). What really impressed me was her attention to details and service. Not only did she wrap my halves separately (because I mention I was sharing) but even have me an extra cookie for my Husband. I'm sorry I didn't get your name but your customer service needs to recognized. You and the other nice lady who asked if I wanted it bagged separately. Thanks for doing the extras. I'm going to remember to come back here more often because of this. Love supporting local! Clean, well lit eating area and outside tables. Highly recommend!

Fellow Blossom Valley Yelpers, we didn't lose a BBQ spot! Armadillo Willy's on Santa Teresa Blvd…read moreclosed down, but someone revived the place! In short, it's an upgrade. FOOD (Brisket and St. Louis-Style Ribs) I got the brisket and asked for it to be fatty. It was as good as some Texas brisket, and I don't give that comparison lightly. I'm very serious about Texas BBQ. I'm also realistic because Texas-level BBQ is achievable by Californians, but only if they put the time and love into it. Currently (07-24-2026), this brisket has it. The true test is whether it still has it in July 2027. I also had the St. Louis-style barbecue ribs. I wouldn't give them the Texas star of approval, but they're upper-tier California barbecue. That's very respectable, in my opinion. My sides were Caesar salad and coleslaw. Both were fresh and held up to what you want and expect from both. The coleslaw has that expected sweetness, and the salad didn't have a single wilted lettuce leaf. The general feeling I got from Empire BBQ was that they have a strong food-handling system in place. Having fresh salad leaves is a small but sure sign of that. DESSERTS Under the radar, this place is killing it with its dessert selection. Whoever put together the dessert menu must've had fun doing it. I didn't have room to eat any, but boy do I plan to. I won't comment on them, but I added photos of each one, minus their bread pudding which wasn't in the display case. SERVICE Excellent, helpful, and kind. The person who helped me was knowledgeable about the ingredients used and the pricing, making sure I got what I wanted in a way that made sense with the meat combinations and sides. Even the chef went and checked the ingredients so one of my questions could be answered. AMBIANCE I came at around 1 p.m. on Friday, and it was a great setting to watch sports, hear old rock music in the background, and take in the BBQ smells. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I give Empire Armadillo BBQ 5 stars. This is a must-try, with so many more menu items (especially the desserts) that I look forward to trying!

Service was completely overwhelmed on Sunday (Father's Day) and it took a long time to order and then a very long time to get our food. They ran out of fries (wha?) and the cashier said we could get sweet potato fries instead, but didn't mention the upcharge until I asked. Gee, thanks. I'll jump right to the food though. I love pastrami and I love corned beef. I had checked out the photos here on Yelp before we went, and it looked like it had potential. I don't know what went wrong on our visit. I got the Fresser, which has both of those meats. My sandwich did indeed have two meats on it, but both were incredibly bland. One meat - I think maybe the corned beef? - was sliced paper thin (which can be fine - my beloved Manny's Deli in Chicago does it thin) - but this was for some reason then griddled? It was SO DRY - kiddo remarked it was crispier than the bacon we had at breakfast. No flavor to it at all either. The other meat was a little thicker, and so it was juicer, but if it was the pastrami, I apparently didn't get any slices which had the pastrami seasoning on it. The portions were also skimpy. The kitchen was completely slammed and tables sat with empty plates on them for most of our meal (which was really annoying as folks were moving them from table to table to try to clear spots for their groups). All in all, I should've just waited for a lunch at Gunther's to fill that pastrami need!

It is one of the pricier burger options around, but you can literally customize your burger to your hearts content (or other sandwich type). We have had their burgers, fries, onion rings, chicken tenders and a salad - kale quinoa. Quality of ingredients - really high, really delicious meat. Lettuce and ingredients in salad were fresh, and plentiful. Portion size - a large fry or a large onion ring feeds my whole family - when it says large, it is large.I did not trust the first time and ended up with WAY more fries than we needed. But fun fact - these reheat really well! Some do not, these are great the next day in the air fryer (same as onion rings) The only disappointing item for my son was the chicken tenders, they were very small and mostly breading. Kind of felt like we had the last remnants of a batch. Good flavor overall, just not a lot of chicken and overall this was the smallest portion size, even for a kid size. And we order from them all: Mojo, Habit, The Burger Lounge. I would rank the Stand higher than these others for quality, flavor and menu selection. But definitely at a higher price point. One thing to keep in mind - paying for McDonalds these days is close to paying for one of these higher-quality spots and I will pay more $$ any day of the week to ensure higher quality ingredients and choices.

Yes, both meats are similar, but both were extremely bland. The beef raviolis were a disappointment. Now I understand the highlight of a ravioli should be just that, but sorry, it was mush, not pillow like. There was no constancy. No chewing required. I think the sauces were some kind of chipotle crema and guac mix but honestly could barely tell what it was. - bacon breakfast burrito: same sentiment as the Birria one, but the bacon had some flavor and saltiness to it - iced matcha cream top: beautifully presented drink, the cream was super sweet and in contrast the matcha was bitter, once mixed it was more like a sweet treat - blueberry mascarpone toast: I don't recommend this, I expected something similar to blueberry mascarpone pancakes but I was just confused. The blueberries were very sweet with honey, but the mascarpone was extremely buttery tasting, and placed on top of a whole wheat kind of bread. The flavors were kind of all over the place and did not taste good together.
