Ordered a pick up order from Papas and Eggs for a chorizo omelette and burrito. We placed the online order and received our food almost an hour after the estimated time it would be ready. I understand if it were busy but when we walked in there were two parties in the restaurant and people who came in after us got their food before we did. Absolutely ridiculous, it seems like they do not have good kitchen management. While the food was good, the terrible service was enough to make me not want to come back. You're better off going somewhere else.

    Country potatoes yum!

I wish I could say I love this place but I really don't. lol. I will say the food here is GREAT, also the service was pretty good too! The main problem we had was we came here for brunch was SHEESH this place is SUPER COLD! Like UNCOMFORTABLY cold. We expected to walk in from the 50 something degree into at least a semi warm /home-y environment? But nope! lol. We almost considered leaving right when we got there but we just laughed about it and ordered. :) Next problem is they told us to pick any place to sit but we had to switch tables like 3/4 times because all the desirable tables were DIRTY. By the time we went to the 4th table we were happy it was clean. Yay! Right? WRONG. It was the most clean but there was a spot with dried out crusty food near the corner. EW. :( Normally I would ask for someone to please clean it a bit extra but I didn't want to bother the server. We decided to sit here because it was the only booth available and most of the other tables have those hard, uncomfortable wooden chairs with literally no cushion. Who wants to sit on those kinda chairs? Hint: NOBODY. lol. These are the kinda chairs restaurants use when they don't want you to stay long, or just don't care about comfort in general. (Also they're easy to clean I guess) Anyway besides the fact that it was SUPER COLD, we eventually adjusted to the cold environment mostly. The food arrived very fast and we were so excited to eat. Everything looked great and the California Burger is definitely a delectable sight to see. lol. Then as we were enjoying our brunch I felt a huge COLD DRAFT hit me, it sent shivers down my spine! lol. They randomly decided to crop their side door open. UM WHY???? It was already cold now it was literally FREEZING! lol. &It was 52 FREAKING DEGREES OUTSIDE. DUDE wtheck. lol. My boo was literally shaking like a chihuahua from the cold, it was literally soooo SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE. Not cool. lol. I jokingly said "They are trying to freeze us out" but guess what? I was right. lol. Before they decided to leave the side door open to start letting in 50 degree cold winds, there was around 8 tables and every table left one by one after that door was left open. I thought they would close the door after a short outside task/duty? But no, no one ever did. We were still eating so we couldn't leave, but we had to rush to get out of the FREEZING environment. The only two tables left were the furthest away from that door. NOT COOL. I will say this could've easily been a 4 Star because the food is awesome! But the fact that they don't care about the customers comfort AT ALL and they decided to freeze us all out gave really bad vibes tbh, and it was very unwelcoming. I was already going to take one star off for the dirty tables all over too because cleanliness is super important to me in any dining experience. Anyway please start considering the comfort of your clientele, instead of making people freeze and leave after they get their food. I could've left a great review for the food tbh because we enjoyed it. lol. If you plan to go for the yummy food, BUNDLE UP or get to go. Seriously wear a parka if you have to! lol. :) Also some cleaning wipes for the tables or maybe ask for assistance. Overall I would say: Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Music: 4/5 Classic 80s bangers Inside environment: 1/5 due to almost freezing to death lol. I will also say the music was fun to listen to it was 80s rock bangers like the throwback Rocky soundtrack. lol. That was very unexpected for a brunch place but still cool I think. lol.

First time coming here and the food was amazing! From the Chorizo Chilaquiles to the tres leches pancakes. Not to mention the cafe de olla mmmmm! I also enjoyed the service our waitress gave us, very sweet, attentive and overall courteous. I'll be coming back for brunch!

    Eggs Benedict w Smoked Salmon
    Amy L.

I came on a Sunday morning with my boyfriend. I got the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon and he got the regular breakfast platter with eggs, sausage, and has browns. We also ordered a latte to share. Everything was SO SALTY. My smoked salmon was already salty and everything else has extra salt in it. Salty potatoes. Salty hollandaise. Salty egg. It wasn't even just my plate, my boyfriend's plate was also very salty. There was also nothing special about the latte either. I would expect a latte at a breakfast place to be more fragrant but it somehow tasted like instant coffee. Unfortunately I will not be back since I've had much better experiences at other breakfast places.

I really enjoyed my visit here. It good and delicious. The service was outstanding. The atmosphere and decor is pleasant and homey. What more can I say :)

Tried out Papas and Eggs for the first time this past Sunday, while in the area for the farmers market. It's located where the old Taco Bell used to be on Aborn, right before San Felipe Rd. It's an open seating area, with a open kitchen set up. Clean and welcoming. The waitress was polite and helpful with our order. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly flavored and tender. All and all excellent visit. The only thing I would maybe change or add, is cushions to the wood chairs for comfort.

Solid 3.7. Found this place very interesting. A lot to like. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Place was well kept open kitchen concept is awesome. You can tell they take care of their place and cook everything in front of your eye. Some frills though. First off. Water.. no ice? Had to ask for ice no biggie. Fresh squeezed orange juice for $9 a bit steep but now days what isn't. Again it was fresh squeezed so was a bit warm. No biggie ask for some ice. Nutella pancakes. Eh. Pancakes were on the dryer side nothing crazy. 6/10. Bacon breakfast burrito was loaded. Bacon egg hash browns. Hot fresh I like salsa was spicy other than the $17 price tag with a side a fruit 7.5/10 the star of the show. Mole chilaquiles. 8.1/10 Very flavorful crispy well done good combo with Beans cilantro and red onion very well done. Came with chicken breast that was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Very nice. $19 with out an egg again steep but what isn't now a days. You can add an egg for $4 again kinda steep but egg was done well. Good place will come again but no rush to get back.

Stopped by on Sunday morning for breakfast & the restaurant was very nice inside. Clean and nice decor! The food however was not that good & service was ehhh. The portions here are quite small for the price. I got a chicharron Chilaquiles and honestly I don't know what to expect but I just got a bowl of tortilla chips and green salsa. There was barely any pork rinds in there and a tiny teaspoon of beans. The eggs on top were an extra $4 and I asked for the yolks to not be running but it was still basically raw (i personally hate running eggs). Overall the bowl just tasted like sour tortilla chips. Eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon was mid. The Benedict were small and the potatoes were mushy. Overall i probably wouldn't come back. I give this place 2 stars because I liked the interior of the restaurant.

Meat Lovers (Protein) Omelette & hashbrowns + iced vanilla latte

Came here for the first time today, and was easily impressed by the service here. This location used to be LKT & Grill, and though I miss them, Papas and Eggs was a great replacement. The restaurant is very cute inside, and has some pretty good breakfast food! Our waitress was incredibly kind and paid great detail in our orders- much appreciated! OKAY THE FOOD: * Meat Lover's Omelette- you can't go wrong with a classic omelette and hashbrowns. I had a pretty busy day ahead, and the dish alone kept me pretty filled from 8:30 until 2/3! * Iced Vanilla Latte- pretty tasty, the waitress had given me the extra brewed coffee w/ ice and it was the perfect amount. I'd definitely give this place a try, and plan on coming back :)

Chicken Waffle With Berries & Maple

Final Thoughts: 3.45/5 Cute little brunch spot within the Evergreen area. Brunch is probably one of my favorite meals and I like going to different places to try their items. Typically brunch items are limited, but I still like those foods, nonetheless. Food: Chicken Waffle With Berries & Maple: 3.0/5 This dish is under their "Maple Plates" and what it comes with is a waffle, a chicken cutlet, sliced strawberries and blueberries, a dollop of butter (I believe it's flavored with brown sugar/maple/cinnamon of sorts), and dusted with powdered sugar. Starting with the waffle, it is fairly dry. When I cut into the waffle, it wasn't crispy like it would after coming out of the waffle iron, but it was more dry and crumbly. On the tongue, it felt almost like this waffle was stale, which is not ideal. Flavor wise, there wasn't anything too significant to note. It's slightly sweet, which is fine because syrup is provided. Moving onto the remainder half of this dish - The chicken portion. The chicken also felt like it was something that had been sitting inside of a warmer versus being freshly fried. Perhaps because the chicken was quite thin, as well, that might have also contributed to the dry texture of it. I'm very used to the chicken being a cut like chicken thigh or the wing, which tends to be juicier. Otherwise, the flavor of the chicken was fine. It did need some syrup on it for additional flavor and moisture though. For the fruits provided, they were good. There is a light dusting of powdered sugar over them, so that contributed to the sweetness of it. Lightened up the dish as the other components were quite dense. Appearance: While my first impression did see it as aesthetic, the color seems very dull because of the components of the waffle and chicken. The fruits added nice color and freshness to the plate, which I did enjoy. --------- Quality: As previously stated, I felt like some of these components were't made to order. With that said, my friend did order these very crispy fries and they came out amazing. Super crispy that the fry would just snap. Maybe it was just that day or this dish is very popular that some items need to be prepared farther in advance to meet the demands within a timely manner. Price: Fair to expensive Pricing here appears fairly average...sorta?? For the chicken and waffles, it was $18 without tax and tip, which leans more on the expensive side given what was presented. However, I understand that this is a fairly average price for chicken and waffles at another café. Price range for the food items here are about $15 to $19 with a few outliers being $11, $22, and $26 for a plate. Service: Friendly The servers here were nice and friendly. I love their energy. Food was brought out pretty quickly. I believe there was a little mix up with one of our dishes, but that was caught upon delivery, so not a huge concern perhaps. Ambiance: Cottagecore This place gives me cottagecore vibes. The interior has simple, but sleek colors. Earthy tones like green, white, and wooden tables too. A little vase was on the table too. Very cutesy and aesthetic for me. The space inside is quite spacious, so there's lots of room. Location/Parking: This brunch place replaced LK Tea & Grill. The line of these shops face Aborn Road, so it's a pretty nice location with the fair amount of traffic happening here. It is right at the corner though and sometimes that can be overlooked. Parking wise, also just a line of parking spots parallel to the shops. There isn't a lot of space, but it seems optimal for the amount of shops that are present. I personally don't go here often, but I haven't noticed any concerns whenever I do.

Lots of parking but, depending on the time you go, you'll find a "close"spot, if not, you'll walk a little & check out the little business's that are in the same center. Located literally in the corner. They are very friendly as soon as you walk in the door,Service with a smile. Looks small & cute inside, but it fits small & big party, so if you're in the area & need a place to go, check them out. Food tastes & look good & the pricing was good enough for what you get. Husband order steak & eggs (med rare) but came out Well Done, so he was not a happy customer, I told him, with any Steak...you "never" know if their gonna get it unless MAYBE you are dining @ a Steak House. But it's all good, this restaurant is in my hood, seems like a nice family establishment & I'll support them & I can honestly say, I'll probably become a Loyal Customer.

The staff was so friendly. Greeted us with an energized happy hello to let us know we can sit wherever. The proportions were perfect I had the eggs Benedict with steak and tres leches strawberry pancakes. The place was clean and comfortable a great place for brunch because of the wide space and bright colors. I'm definitely coming back!

I love seeing decor signs like these in restaurants.

I got the: 1) Egg Salad Sando: -You can tell these were handmade in store. They had cute washi tape to hold the packaging together. -Solid egg salad sandwich. Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. I ended up pouring most of it in a water bottle to enjoy later and put in my bag. But ended up not finishing it in the end. Maybe next year I'll try again or just stick to the food stuffs.

When walking, we missed the restaurant initially because this place is clearly, a hidden gem, especially being hidden along the nightclub strip. We were blown away by the curated vibes. From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. But they only had sparkling lemonade, which actually made it even better. We shared a salad that had some cooked pears and squash alongside the greens, walnuts, cranberries and blue cheese. I do feel like the cooked sweet elements overpowered the salad with their sweetness and textures a bit. Wondering if a refreshing pear for crunch or more dressing could have brightened it up and provided a salty, sweet balance. Both were very delicious and had a very natural taste to them :) They had self-order kiosks but at the same time, their hospitality and customer service was on par. They were very accommodating with regards to dietary restrictions (especially when it came to the milk selections for lattes, matcha was no different). I will definitely be coming back to this place to try more! (Hint hint: I may also try their other location as well -- that to.be saved for another time)

They stated they would send someone out soon. i don't know if it had to do with them seating a bunch a people but at the end of the day we had to check in with them. Overall though the food was great and tasted really good

Great experience here at The Breakfast Club! Awesome waitress, good food, yummy drinks. Cute…read moreatmosphere too! We initially sat at a table but asked to move to a booth due to baby and me comfort and they were super kind about it. Thank you for elevating the experience.... I ordered the loco moco and I'm so glad I did. Everything on the plate was deeelicious, kimchee is good for you, the meat patty was medium cooked as I asked and the eggs were scrambled super soft as I asked! My man got the low carb, and we expected the ingredients to all be separate but it comes in as a scramble. No biggie though. Was tempted to try the latte flight! That's interesting right? But couldn't justify all that sugar so did the nitro cold brew and it was very enjoyable:) Would def come back again for the same course of action.

(4.5/5) Had brunch…read moreat The Table on a beautiful warm Wednesday, and the patio was definitely the highlight. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

Hey there party People…read more Decided to venture into Willow Glen today on the hunt for something new to try. Boy howdy did we hit the Mother Load with "The Table". We hit the Brunch hour and the place was rocking. We were able to sit right down amazingly. There is a fabulous patio to people watch and enjoy the California weather. Our server Charles was really great. He walked us through the menu giving us the 911 on watch to order. Most of the plates were perfect shareable bites. Making it easy to try multiple plates and really get your inner Foodie on. We started with the Seasonal Banana Pancakes with crushed walnuts and cinnamon maple syrup. Inside the pancakes were fresh bananas and the walnuts were crushed very small but added a great texture. Moving on to the Chicago Steak sandwich don't get confused but in Chicago they refer to Roast Beef as steak. The Au Jus dip was very flavorful without being a salt bomb. Loved the potato roll they used all round a killer sandwich. Going a little outside the box we tried the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The pineapple slaw with this amazing peppery chutney type sauce played so well with the acid of the pineapple. Another must have sandwich. I ask you how can you go to a new restaurant and not have some dessert. With everything else being so good our expectations were pretty high and we were not disappointed. The Giant Profiterole is exactly that GIANT and stuffed with White Chocolate Gelato and Hot Chocolate Sauce that you can drizzle over the top. To fricken die for good. If you are in Willow Glen and you don't stop here you are missing out on something wonderful. Be kind to one another
