Looking for Thai food take out (or dine-in)? Visit Eggplant next to Pechanga Resort and Casino. Good traditional Thai cuisine, good service, friendly atmosphere, clean dining area, and clean restroom ().

Phenomenal! We came here because so many of my fellow Yelpers recommended it. Did not disappoint. I love Panang curry and this one was amazing ! Staff was friendly and we were able to walk in as a group of 5 and be seated fairly quickly. The food came out quickly and was very hot. It tasted so good, I'd definitely come back here again. Highly recommend

We have eaten here numerous times. Whenever we have friends visiting from out of town we bring them here for delicious & authentic Thai food! They never disappoint! Love the rustic decor and service is always top notch! As long as they continue to serve their delectable dishes consistently we will always bring family & friends here

First time trying Thai food in Temecula area and Eggplants was the best choice! They already had a line waiting outside before 5:00pm - that's when you know it's outstanding! I arrived a little after 5:00pm and my party of 7 on a Saturday night was seated immediately. Their dining area is very spacious and they do not crowd the tables close together which is a plus. The service was quick and attentive, and the food did not take too long to come out. Here's a breakdown of the items ordered: Tom Kha - mild spicy. Although the sourness was there, the coconut milk was too potent. I felt that they could've add way less so the flavor of the sourness and spice came through more. This was the least favorite of the party, but I would just try the Tom Yum soup next time. I really like my tom kha soups with fish; however, they only had meat or seafood options. Pad Thai - outstanding dish and flavor profile is on point! I actually love they didn't add bean sprouts but did have a spoonful of crushed peanuts on the side to mix in with the noodles. The Pad Thai was slightly spicy and savory. The noodles were a perfect texture and I would love to order their pad thai again! Rad Na - Flat, wide noodles are my favorite and they got this dish down! It's a great balance with plenty of gravy but there were too less noodles. It was drenched in gravy and I wish there were more noodles to soak it up but the flavor really was perfection! Three Chili Swai Fish Filet/Panang Salmon - not sure if I got the name correct, but this was a protein entree. The fish was battered and biting into it was airy and light. The chili sauce on time reminded of a sweet and sour. It came with rice automatically and this was a rice thief. I loved it! Another rice thief was the panang salmon! The curry was super good, I could drink it. Kidding but not really. The salmon was generous although a bit dry but dipping it in the panang solved it. Came with an abundant of veggies too and CAN.NOT.GO.WRONG. Drunken Noodle - Flat, wide noodles and it's a staple for me to try at every Thai restaurant that offers it. Verdict? I loved it!!! Will definitely order it again. Mild made the spice level super comfortable and the dish was very umami in every bite. Thai Tea - too sweet! Price is decent. Quick service. Great food. Comfortable seating. Close to the casino! What more can you ask for?

We've eaten here a few times. Enough to know it's amazing! The food and service are top notch. Sadly, the location is tucked away in a little strip mall just south of Pechanga resort. If you get distracted by the lights of Pechanga, you'll undoubtedly miss it. We've enjoyed so many different meals here. Started with the Tom Yum or Tim Kha. Both excellent. We've also enjoyed the fresh spring rolls or fried egg rolls. For entrees, we've enjoyed various curries, Fish Three Flavors and the Thai Basil dish with either tofu or chicken. Can't forget about the Khao Soi Noodles. Whatever you do, don't skip out on dessert. The fried banana cheesecake is to die for! They often sell out, it's that good! Keep on Yelp'n!

Thai Food Tasting Party: 12 People, 12 Entrees, and Awesome company!!! 12 of us descended upon this Thai spot like a squad of culinary Avengers, each armed with an entree and a dream. It was a full-on food swap meet... we each ordered one dish and passed it around like it was a sacred artifact. I personally went with the Pad See Ew with tofu because I enjoy wide noodles and making good life choices (naw FR, i just like tofu in my thai food). Now, I only got a tablespoon of everyone else's food (rude, but fine... tbh i am super picky and prefer my food made a certain way), yet somehow managed to confirm: everything was good. Most importantly--no fish sauce flood! You know it's a good Thai place when your dish tastes flavorful without smelling like Poseidon's cologne. Service? Snappy and friendly. I'll definitely try other entrees from here, when I'm back home. Company is always great. I love hanging out w these girls who enjoy food tasting as much as I do.

Yum, yum! Janet T. was so right, the food here is so delicious! I came in with a big group of beautiful yelp ladies and ordered several dishes to share & try. My favorites were surprisingly things I don't normally order. The cashew chicken & the chow mein. The pad si ew was one of my top favs too. But honestly everything was delicious and flavorful. I loved it so much I almost came back for dinner. I cannot wait to come back and try everything on the menu. Service was great, food came out fast, & lots of easy parking.

I came here for lunch with a group of amazing ladies I met for the first time. Great food, great times. For a party of 12, the service was remarkable. Dishes came out in a timely manner and were all delicious. I would definitely come back again.

UPDATED REVIEW 3 YEARS later!!! We are still coming here at least 2 times a month... Their food is still consistently great! We went to President Thai in Pasadena for CHRISTMAS LUNCH and it does not even come close to Eggplants Thai CUISINE quality... PAD THAI CHICKEN: Tasted amazing right off the wok while dining in. You get a nice smoky aroma and a balanced flavor of sweet, tangy & salty. You can add your own spiciness with the condiments ;) TOM KHA FIRE POT: Coconut milk soup that has a similar flavor to TOM YUM. It's so rich and creamy. We order this every time we eat here! YEN TA FO: very RARE street vendor dish in Thailand. The pink color comes from the fermented bean paste... The soup usually includes tofu, shrimp, fish balls, calamari, and wide rice noodles... THE UNIQUE FLAVOR of the soup is sweet, sour, and a little spicy, with a funky umami-rich sauce!!!! I DARE ALL FOODIE ADVENTUROUS to try! It's one of the BEST things you can ever try once in a life time ;) ROCK ON & WE LOVE YOU EGGPLANTS THAI CUISINE

Was craving some good Thai food and saw some great reviews here so thought we'd give it a try. Small quaint setup and not really good for larger groups. They only had two servers with a full house but the staff did their best and some patience was needed while waiting for the food but it was worth the wait. The only dish that was off a tad was the chicken pad Thai noodles. It was quite sweet for some reason. Tue dessert of mango sticky rice was very tasty and The rest of the food was quite good and I would come back again.

First time here on a Friday night . Got seated right away luckily before the rush. Relaxing ambiance. Fast and courteous service. Delicious yellow chicken curry and tomyun soup. Shrimp fried rice seasoned well. Overall a great experience. Definitely will come back on our next visit since is so close to the casino. We drove all the way from Long Beach .

After a gorgeous drive through Carlsbad, I couldn't have asked for a better spot to unwind than Eggplant Thai Cuisine. Carlsbad itself is pure magic--those stunning beaches with golden sand, the endless stretch of the Pacific sparkling under the sun, and the laid-back coastal charm that just pulls you in. We'd spent the morning cruising along the shoreline, soaking in the beauty of the waves crashing and the salty breeze, and by the time we were ready to eat, I was craving something comforting. Thai food is my go-to when I can't find Indian food--it's like a warm hug in every bite--and this place delivered in the best way. We stopped by around 2:00 PM, and it wasn't too crowded, which was perfect after a busy morning. The restaurant is wonderfully spacious, with big windows letting in tons of natural light that made the whole place feel bright and airy. It's simple but pleasant, with a relaxed vibe that matches the chill energy of Carlsbad. You can tell it's a spot where locals and visitors alike come to enjoy a good meal without any fuss. We ordered the tofu curry and the panang curry, and oh my goodness, both were out of this world. The tofu curry was creamy and rich, with that perfect balance of spice and smoothness that just melts in your mouth. The tofu was cooked just right--soft but not mushy--and soaked up all the flavors of the coconutty broth. Then there was the panang curry, which was a total standout. It had this deep, nutty warmth from the peanuts, a little kick of heat, and a velvety texture that made every bite pure bliss. The portions were solid, too, leaving me full and happy without feeling overstuffed. Paired with some fluffy rice, it was exactly the kind of comfort food I needed after a day of beach-hopping. The service was friendly and quick, which added to the whole experience. It's not the cheapest Thai spot I've been to, but for the quality and the setting, it felt just right. After driving through Carlsbad's picturesque streets and stunning coastline, sitting down at Eggplant Thai Cuisine felt like the perfect way to cap off the day. It's a little slice of comfort in a beautiful town, and I'd happily come back next time I'm exploring this area. If you're craving Thai food that hits all the right spots, this place is a gem!

That said, the chicken was still tasty, and we both really enjoyed it. The shrimp spring rolls were also amazing, but the real star for me was the peanut sauce. It was so good that I had to order an extra side because I kept adding more and more to every bite. The customer service was excellent as well. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere is great whether you're grabbing a casual meal, meeting up with friends, or having a date night. It could use a little more variation of vegetable but when I make it at home I like lots of veggies. The Thai Fried Rice was good, spicy, and I am not sure if it was on purpose but the great variation of bell peppers (red, orange, yellow, grean) allowed each bite to be distinctive based on what the pepper added. There were not too many but I thought they added to the dish. My only question was the interior design. It is aged, and just pedestrian. Last night my wife and I ordered Pad See Ew and Drunken Noodles to go. When we got home I opened my…read moredrunken noodle container and poured in 2 little cups of the chili flakes oil the restaurant gives away at their register area. I mixed the chili flake into the drunken noodles and start to eat. After about 5 bites a hear a large crunch and feel a large amount of pain coming from my lower left rear molar. I instantly spit out the bite I was chewing and go through the my half chewed food to find out what caused the issue. After some poking around I started to find big hard shards of transparent material and small shards of hard white material. The transparent shards I bit into were clearly glass and the white material were chunks of my tooth. My mouth was bleeding and in pain and I could feel my lower rear left molar had a large chunk missing. This place is really fucked up for letting glass into their food. It was clear they broke some glass around the chili flake oil or around one of the ingredients that makes up the drunken noodles and instead of throwing away everything that could have potentially had glass in it, they tried to salvage some of that contaminated food and serve it to their customers. This was my first and last time eating at this place. What really pisses me off more about this whole situation is that my wife and I are currently introducing various solid foods to our 1 year old daughter and we both gave our daughter noodles from our dishes. It really makes my blood boil that this restaurants cheap and lazy owner and employees would let this type of shit slide and make it other people's problem just to save a few dollars from product loss. Now I have to take a day off work to go to the dentist and get my tooth fixed or if the tooth is past repairable I'll have to go through the process of getting it removed and replaced with some artificial tooth. It sucks that all of that will end up coming out of my pocket. I would suggest everyone to stay away from place. This type of shit happening is never worth the risk from a place that disregards their quality control like this. There are plenty of other great Thai and Asian restaurants in the area that I have gone too over and over again without one issue. I hope this review helps others avoid the same bullshit this restaurant is currently putting me through. Also incase any other customers found glass in their food, I purchased my order around 8pm on April 22nd 2026.

It was actually pretty good. We got the beef drunken noodles (which was what was lopsided in the container), sticky rice, papaya salad, and beef salad (which spilled a little but not too much). They were smart enough to bag the papaya salad up in a bag and put inside the container. I also requested the papaya salad be Lao style and they didn't charge me for that. Did not put it in a bag and just put it in an open container. That genius also put that container on the top of everything and tried to fit all 4 stupid containers in 1 bag so the papaya salad that was on top of everything spilled all inside the bag. Not only that but it leaked everywhere I'm sure in the driver's car as well. It leaked on my front door and all the way until I ran with the bag to my sink. Learn how to pack or stop being cheap and get some decent containers for the stuff that needs special attention! Everything was drenched in PADEK and dripped all over my floor! Good thing it wasn't real Lao style being dark and funky. I hate to give such a low rating because their food is actually pretty good. But man, get it together!

One of my favorite dishes she had in rotation once was the brisket truffle fried rice. My favorites that are always on the menu are the beef jerky with the yummy garlic green sauce, the yellow curry, and all the noodle dishes. My husband also loves the pork belly with Chinese broccoli. Currently, there's no longer a bathroom for customers. There are also only three tables and a couch with small tables now.

There was a man , who I thought was the cook all the way in the back of the long kitchen. He saw me come in. I waited few minutes and no one came up to greet or seat me. Then I realized there is a digital screen at the counter next to me, started to realize I have to order food through the screen (again no one came to answer any questions on their own) i finally flagged the guy in the back to ask a question. A few other people came in and went straight to another digital screen around the corner of the counter. I had seen other yelp posts of a lunch menu, I asked the guy that finally came and he said they don't have lunch specials. So they must have got rid of those on the menu a while back. I place my order on the digital screen. No wear did I see carry out or eat-in. I sat on a bench at the front waiting for my food. There was 2 other customers also waiting at this point for food to go. There is only a couple tables inside to sit. Everything is self service - I saw water cups , chopsticks, utensils all just sitting on each table. I ordered a chicken curry dish , the curry was tasty and had a good variety of vegetables but there was some herb in their like small strips that I had to keep picking out because I didn't like the texture. I gave 3 stars because of lack of acknowledgement when coming in , no clear instructions that I had to order on the digital screen. No service for a place that I thought was a sit down restaurant. I suggest this place for to go only orders

The Thai food is amazing!!…read more I love me some Thai food and Rose Garden Thai Cuisine in Murrieta does it right! The pineapple fried rice is my favorite. I've ordered it with tofu and shrimp. Both are great. My go to is the mango sticky rice. It's cute and in the shape of a heart. The mango is fresh and I love the sticky rice and coconut milk. Service is fine. I feel like they kind of rush you out though. I'm not a huge fan of that.

I loved that the lunch plate came with a salad, soup, potsticker, and an egg roll. It's such a great value. At first, the soup looked plain, but once I tried it, I was shocked by how much flavor it had despite being so simple. The salad was very fresh and the dressing was delicious. Everything was served extremely hot, which I appreciated. Even after finishing the salad and soup, I still had to let the chicken cashew nut cool down a bit. A really cute touch was that the rice on my plate was shaped like a heart. Customer service was great, and I will definitely be returning. The inside is nicely decorated and very clean, which is a huge plus for me. I was especially impressed that they had a changing table in the restroom, I wish all restaurants did. If you're in the area, definitely give them a try. The lunch special is a great deal, and they offer many options to choose from.
