I normally try to visit a restaurant in person before reviewing or at least try their foods at least twice via food delivery, before I leave any reviews. However this place just gave me the wow factor even through food delivery on GrubHub! I just had to jump on here right away to share! As mentioned I've never dined in and today was my 1st day getting takeout from here. Not going to lie, I was a bit skeptical I'm not sure why. So glad I pulled the plug! Ok the wow factor came how they were so brilliant and mindful during packaging takeout orders! Wow they definitely thought outside the box of how to take care of their customers and I'm assuming how they'd want their food delivered. So I ordered 3 salads basically; squid, papaya, and beef. All contains liquids. They put the papaya in a big closable container with a lid. Smart; you'd think everyone would do that. You'd be surprised who just dumps papaya in a styrofoam container! Anyway the squid and beef salads came separately from their salads. They made sure to pack the dry salads in a takeout box and put the mixed proteins in their marinades in another soup containers which was perfect and made it so easy to add on top when ready. I really love that idea! Not only that but the food was good. I really enjoyed the squid salad it had a nice sour balance. The papaya salad I requested Lao style to be the spiciest level 10 but it actually wasn't too spicy. Other restaurants definitely need to take notes because I really just had a bad experience with another Thai restaurant being so careless and my papaya salad sauce spilling not only in the bag but dripped all over my floors. This was probably the blandest Thai food I've ever had. I asked for 8/10 spicy but there wasn't a hint of it. They also adjusted my order to charge an extra $17 on grubhub with no reason given. Thankfully I was able to get that reversed. Will not return. read more

I came in for the lunch special and wings. -Thai Basil Chicken and Rice -Thai wings Spice level was roughly 7, but to me it wasn't that spicy. I did enjoy the sauce that the wings were covered in and when you have the lunch special it came with egg rolls. The sauce had a honey, garlic, peanut texture with it and I thought that it paired perfectly with the piping hot roll. Prices are pretty reasonable for lunch, so I would recommend coming in for the specials. Plenty of seating, unisex restroom, and fairly clean as well. read more

The beef sate is great. Every Thai restaurant has some variation of the Original Thai BBQ restaurant. For the area, the prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were good. Beef sate was great and there are 6 bbq sticks! Drunken noodle could have used a little more seasoning, but it was still tasty. Tom yum khai was ok. I do prefer the coconut version because it rounds out the 5 flavors, but I had to eat in agreement with who I was eating with. Overall it was a solid 4. read more

This is a lil piece of The Original Thai BBQ - such a lucky find after hitting up Murrieta Hot Springs! It's a quiet, quaint spot in a big mini mart filled with other shops, like a boba place & even a place that sells Dole whip. Staff were so very kind, friendly, & efficient here, & the food was delicious! So much so that, after eating, we each decided to buy more food to bring home for dinner! We sampled a lot of food, & everything was on point... very reminiscent of The OG Thai BBQ - papaya salad, beef sate, one of the Tom Yum soups, fried sole fish with sauce on the side, green chicken curry, to name a few. Came here based on the reviews and I have never been so disappointed in my fellow Yelpies before! This is NOT 100% fully authentic Thai, it's more Asian fusion, IMHO. First of all the spring rolls were flavorless and mushy, MINE HAD A HAIR INSIDE! The calamari was soggy with a bad fishy taste, the shrimp pad Thai was the best out of everything, but came with 6 measly shrimp on top. The chicken curry was JAPANESE curry. How do I know? Because I'm Japanese. It was a joke and it didn't have coconut milk in it as stated in the description. This was beyond insulting. Not sure if the patrons who frequent here are not knowledgeable on the differences between Asian cuisine, but this was a miss the mark by many miles. The best thing we ordered was the Thai iced coffees, service was ok, they do offer military discount which I missed because I already paid. Very authentic space and service. I like the big bright feeling inside and space between seatings. It is def a casual spot so no need to dress up significantly! Food wise it is portioned well that you can possibly take home left overs. Taste wise it is pretty authentic except for spice level! My friend ordered spice level 10 out of 10 which server even gasped! When tasting it I felt it was def not 10. Felt like 7. To her was like 2. OMG GUYS!!! Im not joking when i tell you how good there food is. Trust me when i tell you my go to when i eat here is there shrimp fried rice and mongolian beef. Im going to start off on there mongolian beef. It is so so so so so so good. The meat is so soft when you eat it (pause haha) and the sauce taste sweet. Get white rice and pour a little of the sauce on the rice and it taste so good. You have a option to add other items with the dish but me i always add shrimp. There shrimps are so big and delicious. The shrimp frid rice is so good too. Fresh and hot when they serve it to you. I admit the prices are a little pricey but i promise you the food is well worth it with great portions. What a hidden gem in Murrieta! There seems to be many Thai restaurants in the area but this place probably takes the top spot for me. They hit the mark each time for food quality and customer service. So far, we've tried Eddy's Drunken Noodle, Chicken Yellow Curry, Beef Panang, Calamari, Fried Wontons, and the Chicken Sate. We love Thai BBQ! It's our go-to for delivery when we don't feel like cooking. The food is very tasty and consistent every time. Our go-tos are the Pad see lew and chicken sate. This one is set back from the street (Murrieta Hot Springs) behind Sonic so we've been overlooking it. Not anymore! Excellent food and service. Clean & simple ambiance. Usually when I DoorDash food I have lower expectations because, ya know, DoorDash. But the food was excellent. The Dasher was also excellent for what it's worth. We were staying at a local resort and were starving after a full day of spa activities. We ordered the Pad See Eww, Larb Chicken, Yellow Chicken Curry, Papaya Salad and Brown Rice. My favorite Thai dish is Pad See Eww,band this one was excellent. My other favorite dish is Yellow curry, and this was delicious too. Ok, I love all Thai food. All of these dishes were very tasty. S-1 and S-2, extra sauce! That's our order on repeat. Occasionally we'll add a curry or some noodles sprinkled in our order, but the two combos are always pretty solid. The portions are good - mind you we haven't ever really dined in because, well, kids. And my experience with dining with kids is a sad rotation of trying to watch them while also shoveling spoonfuls of food in my mouth. Not enjoyable for anyone - and hey, props to those parents that can! We do what makes our dining experience the most comfortable haha. My wife always gets her nails done at hot spring nails across the parking lot.. and after waiting an hour for her beautiful nails to be done I work up quite an appetite.. she finally agreed to take me here and we LOVED it! We started with the crab rangoons and we almost fell out of our chairs with how delicious they were. They were cooked perfectly and almost didn't need the sauce because they tasted so good. We then got the pad Thai.. we ordered pork but accidentally got chicken but we didn't even care.. it tasted delicious! It was so hot and fresh and yummy. So coming to Murrieta for an escape at the hot spring, this place was a last minute decision and it was a great one. We tried out this Thai bbq place and from the pictures of their food it looked delicious. We had the Spring Rolls that were really really filling, large and fresh. Then ate Orange chicken, white rice and Eddy's Drunkin noodles that had chicken and shrimp. The orange chicken was so delicious and fresh I finished that entree first. Good selection of traditional Thai dishes, good balanced flavours, friendly staff and clean place. We ordered spring rolls with chicken, curry with duck and Tom Kha soup. The food arrived on time starting with the appetiser. The rolls were nicely prepared and came with side sauces (the rolls were big). My curry was mild as requested.
