The beef sate is great. Every Thai restaurant has some variation of the Original Thai BBQ restaurant. For the area, the prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were good. Beef sate was great and there are 6 bbq sticks! Drunken noodle could have used a little more seasoning, but it was still tasty. Tom yum khai was ok. I do prefer the coconut version because it rounds out the 5 flavors, but I had to eat in agreement with who I was eating with. Overall it was a solid 4.

My Boyfriend Got Take out for Me Because I Was at The Hospital Over Here At Rancho Springs. I Was Craving Thai Food And Decided To Order Here Everything Looked Great And Delicious. I Ordered Thom Kha Gai Spice Level 6 it Was Perfectly Spiced. Got Pad See Lew Shrimp And Beef. Sweet and Nice. Got Combonation Fried Rice. That Was Yummy. Everything Came Warm And Hot. Would Love To Come Back And Eat Indoors One Day Soon. The Service Was Ok Just Took Abit Cause it Was Launch Time. Boyfriend Said Ambiance Was Nice And Chill.

Came back here after my first visit. Delicious food, and always great service. As a vegetarian I felt they have some good options for me. I usually get Tofu Spring roll. I do wish it came with a little spice options for sauce, but overall delicious.

So far this is the best Thai food place I have been to in Murrieta. The pad see ew is delicious the ingredients are so fresh. I highly recommend this Thai food place.

This is a lil piece of The Original Thai BBQ - such a lucky find after hitting up Murrieta Hot Springs! It's a quiet, quaint spot in a big mini mart filled with other shops, like a boba place & even a place that sells Dole whip. Staff were so very kind, friendly, & efficient here, & the food was delicious! So much so that, after eating, we each decided to buy more food to bring home for dinner! We sampled a lot of food, & everything was on point... very reminiscent of The OG Thai BBQ - papaya salad, beef sate, one of the Tom Yum soups, fried sole fish with sauce on the side, green chicken curry, to name a few. They even had some menu items that were new to us, and they did not disappoint. I'd definitely return next time I'm in the area.

Came here based on the reviews and I have never been so disappointed in my fellow Yelpies before! This is NOT 100% fully authentic Thai, it's more Asian fusion, IMHO. First of all the spring rolls were flavorless and mushy, MINE HAD A HAIR INSIDE! The calamari was soggy with a bad fishy taste, the shrimp pad Thai was the best out of everything, but came with 6 measly shrimp on top. The chicken curry was JAPANESE curry. How do I know? Because I'm Japanese. It was a joke and it didn't have coconut milk in it as stated in the description. This was beyond insulting. Not sure if the patrons who frequent here are not knowledgeable on the differences between Asian cuisine, but this was a miss the mark by many miles. The best thing we ordered was the Thai iced coffees, service was ok, they do offer military discount which I missed because I already paid. Anyway, 2 coffees, 3 apps and 2 entrees was pushing $100 after tip for lunch for two, way too expensive to return.

Very authentic space and service. I like the big bright feeling inside and space between seatings. It is def a casual spot so no need to dress up significantly! Food wise it is portioned well that you can possibly take home left overs. Taste wise it is pretty authentic except for spice level! My friend ordered spice level 10 out of 10 which server even gasped! When tasting it I felt it was def not 10. Felt like 7. To her was like 2. Authentic Thai spice is mighty king so I was surprise the 10 was not truly a 10. It is a come back restaurant for sure!!!

OMG GUYS!!! Im not joking when i tell you how good there food is. Trust me when i tell you my go to when i eat here is there shrimp fried rice and mongolian beef. Im going to start off on there mongolian beef. It is so so so so so so good. The meat is so soft when you eat it (pause haha) and the sauce taste sweet. Get white rice and pour a little of the sauce on the rice and it taste so good. You have a option to add other items with the dish but me i always add shrimp. There shrimps are so big and delicious. The shrimp frid rice is so good too. Fresh and hot when they serve it to you. I admit the prices are a little pricey but i promise you the food is well worth it with great portions. I still need to try other dishes. Also pad thai is really good as well. Please try this place out. If you love thai food, i promise you that you and your family will love it! Thank you Thai BBQ

What a hidden gem in Murrieta! There seems to be many Thai restaurants in the area but this place probably takes the top spot for me. They hit the mark each time for food quality and customer service. So far, we've tried Eddy's Drunken Noodle, Chicken Yellow Curry, Beef Panang, Calamari, Fried Wontons, and the Chicken Sate. The chicken sate is unbelievable and the portions are extremely generous. The restaurants is always clean and can get pretty busy! If you're ever in the area, add this to place to your list.

Ordered Chicken Sate with fried rice, Beef Broccoli and Beef Pad See Ew. Everything was good, the fried rice is a bit different kinda looks like Spanish red rice. Pad Sew Ew came out a little different, noodles were on the lighter side of color than what I normally use to but definitely a great dish. Totally recommend this location for Thai food. The customer service here is also great, we were greeted and seated right away.. Will be back!

We love Thai BBQ! It's our go-to for delivery when we don't feel like cooking. The food is very tasty and consistent every time. Our go-tos are the Pad see lew and chicken sate. Those dishes are always very good. This time we also decided to try one new dish, the drunken noodles, and it was a little too peppery in flavor for our taste. However overall Thai BBQ is a great choice for some good food. We highly recommend and will continue to be regulars!

Nice, quaint Thai restaurant. Service is fast and friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious. The BBQ chicken was awesome! The mango and sticky rice was a perfect ending to the meal. I loved the calamari and chicken wing appetizers. Prices are decent and the portion sizes are generous. Arroy mak! Krab Kuhn ka!

Amazing amazing and delicious food, my new favorite Thai spot in Murrieta. The cashier was so nice and so helpful and I love the art pieces and the fish aquarium and the place is really clean and very organised.

When you first walk into this place you have hope for great Texas BBQ. They options are simple (as…read morethey should be for a real BBQ place), meats and a few sides and some sandwiches. I ordered the loaded brisket fries, 1 lb or moist brisket, 1/2 lb or burnt ends. The loaded fries were awesome and fresh crispy fries with 3 nice pieces of moist brisket on top. Highly recommend Burnt ends - my all time favorite and hard to get at a true BBQ place as they go fast as true burnt ends are limited. These did not disappoint and were spot on. Brisket - I like moist was real real tender and had a great flavor. We also had a side of the brisket baked beans and those babies were amazing. The have not a spicy and a regular BBQ sauce and I loved the spicy for sure. The regular is spot as as well and I just prefer spicy. The pit master and his wife (?) were super nice and the resultant was very relaxed and not loud at all. This is the BEST BBQ in the valley hands down. Both meats were tender, smoky, with a well defined smoke ring with very good color. I got my food to go, but after seeing the nice decor inside, I kinda wanted to stay! What attracted me was the Texas Style BBQ and I've read plenty of positive reviews saying the BBQ is legit. Last Saturday on July 4th we made our way to Temecula to dine at the Swing Inn Cafe & BBQ. The town was packed due to a 250th birthday celebration parade. The parade blocked us from getting to the restaurant. We had to wait until it was over which was like 20 minutes. At the hostess station we were advised it would be a 45 minutes wait for a party of 5. The place was busy with customers but the employees did an excellent job in providing great service. 20 minutes later we were seated outside. There were six parties ahead of us but they didn't show when called. Guess they got tired of waiting. I ordered a full rack of the pork spare ribs with smoked beans as my one side. But when I got my food I had an extra side of smoked beans. The ribs were tender, thick and the meat came of the bone easily. It had a nice smokey taste and the smoked beans complimented the meat. I have to admit one of the best spare pork ribs I had in my life. My mom got the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and gravy. The chicken fried steak was seasoned well and very tender. My step dad ordered Large Brisket plate with coleslaw. And my brother and sister in law both got the 2 meat plate with smoked turkey and brisket with sides of macaroni and cheese and smoked beans. The beef brisket and smoke turkey was very good according to my family. For dessert I got the cinnamon roll a popular item, step dad and mom shared a slice of apple pie and my brother got the coconut cream pie. Everything was very sweet and delicious. We were hoping to catch Dean but I figured he was probably spending time with family on this holiday. We will return and hopefully he will be there so we can let him know how much we loved his food and acting.

I will admit that the long drive has something to do with the negative review, but I've driven far…read moreto go eat before and I still like the places. I believe that what I'm about to say is fair and maybe the drive is 10% influence only. I would like to begin by saying that I saw a video on YouTube and it was the actor from breaking bad, who owns this restaurant and some guy was interviewing him and they had the pitmaster on and overall I was like I would like to check it out, might be fun. sent a video to my wife. She liked it and we made plans to go. I live in downey California, the drive to Temecula is about 60 to 70 miles, but there are parts where there's traffic so this is gonna be an hour and a half drive. Do not let this be your decision not to go, just making you aware, but nothing wrong with a nice road trip. So we get to the place and I was underwhelmed by the appearance, I was not expecting the actor from breaking bad to greet us or Skyker to be the hostess but I was expecting the place to look better, the Place looked old was my first reaction. I asked the hostess if there was a bar area and she told me yes, pointed out where I should go, and so we went to get a quick drink while we waited. the bar area was old and is not designed to host people while they wait for a table. Not Necessarily a bad thing, but it wouldn't hurt to make this area a better place to hang out and while they wait, they buy drinks. I do not work for bar rescue show, but seems to me like this is an obvious thing to do While all of the staff was friendly, I would say that two bartenders is probably the area of service where I think the level was below average because it seemed like they were just part-time bartenders or waiters that are asked to be bartenders because there's not a real bartender during the day my son ordered a beer and the glass was cracked and I do not mean a little crack, I mean it was cracked, and he almost drank it, before his mom stopped him. Then my wife ordered some lavender looking drink. It was OK, but we had to ask for a redo because there was a fruit fly in the drink, it is possible that it landed there, it is an outdoor place, but still bartender should've caught it I think. I ordered the Heisenberg drink, I liked it, it was good, I recommend it, but that was the start to our first three drinks, a cracked glass, a fruit fly in one of the drinks so not a good start . The area right in front of the bar, it was closed to the public or something, not sure but not a place to hang out. so I get it, not fully attended but it looked old as well, maybe you can cover it up better? Put something for the sun? Offer some shade. So once we got seated and got our food, the food looked very good.. The barbecue was not horrible, but it Nothing special. What we got is OK barbecue Our order: We ordered a burger for my son, this burger was massive, if you are the type that likes to post pictures of food, it will make a great picture. It would look awesome the reality is this reminded me of one of those places with very elaborate bloody Mary's, that add tons of olives and celery and this and that.....just because you add more stuff, it doesn't mean it's better, so that's what the burger reminded me, just throwing stuff in between the bun. So the burger was OK. My wife and I ordered a three meat platter, got ribs, briskets and pulled pork. And my favorite was the barbecue beans and the mac & cheese. were the meats bad? The answer is "no" but also not very good or even great, it was just OK like I said. Also, the staff asked us to move tables because they were getting a 14 person party, nice and politely they asked and we said yes, no biggy. But they told us we'd get a free desert. Did we get a free dessert? The answer is no, but we did not ask for it, by this time we were disappointed with the food. A spot where our favorite part of the meal were the beans and we didn't bother asking for free dessert, that should tell you,we just wanted out If you live nearby, going to this place is not a horrible place or bad decision, but do not drive all the way from LA and expect the place itself to look extra nice, it does not. and surely do not expect the food to be extra good, because it is not. If you are from LA and end up in this place, let it be because you wanted to go to Temecula, visit the wineries, maybe hit other spots, and this was one of the places that you visited but do not come here just to visit this place. Again, not expecting the cast of breaking bad to appear or to have actors reenact scenes from the show, (even though that would be great) but driving this long for average food and an average looking location. It's a pass for me. To end on a somewhat decent note, and I am repeating myself, but I did feel the staff was nice and friendly so props to the staff

For some reason, I just never made it back here; probably because the Promenade area isn't usually along our route. Coming here tonight genuinely brightened my day. I had just finished a long shift and a commute, and all I wanted was a good, comforting meal. My nutritionist told me yesterday need to significantly increase my protein intake to help reduce muscle loss related to my autoimmune thyroid condition. KBBQ seemed like the perfect choice; lots of protein without a lot of unnecessary junk. On my way home, I stopped at two other KBBQ restaurants. Apparently, I was unaware of the unspoken rule that some places don't serve parties of one on weekends. One restaurant even had me wait 25 minutes before telling me they wouldn't seat a solo diner during the weekend. Unfortunately, my husband is currently deployed, so being a party of one isn't exactly a choice for me right now! Normally, dining alone doesn't bother me at all, but today it got to me. I was exhausted and simply wanted a comforting meal. Being turned away after waiting 25 minutes just because I by myself was the last thing I needed. When I called this restaurant, the owner or manager immediately answered and was incredibly friendly. He explained that they offer entrée and plate options for guests who aren't doing the all-you-can-eat menu. I honestly don't understand why more restaurants don't offer this. I know the food industry is competitive and businesses have to make money, but having options for solo diners makes such a difference. When I arrived, I received wonderful service right away, and there was no wait, but they were full. The owner or manager recognized me as the person who had called earlier and went out of his way to make me feel welcome since we found out we're from the same area. He even added a little surprise to my order simply out of kindness. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. In an area with no shortage of restaurants, I want to give this place the credit it deserves, not only for the excellent food, but for the heart behind the business. Today, I'm especially grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to me. You never know what someone may be going through, and a simple act of thoughtfulness can make a bigger impact than you realize. His kindness truly lifted my spirits after a long and difficult day. I believe this is a small family-owned business, and they absolutely deserve the support of the community. Great food is easy to find; genuine hospitality is much harder to come by. I'll definitely be back!

Sunday, 6-23-2024: So sorry for another delayed review. Reservations are highly recommended. I'm…read morea member of their VIP club so I receive emails of ongoing specials & events like wine pairings & rare culinary creations. Anyhow, I made reservations for our family of five. Our daughter, son-in-law, grandson, my husband and I came for another divine dining experience. We were seated right away as it wasn't too crowded. We noticed they rearranged the tables and seating. It's still so cozy and pristine with low lighting giving off an intimate vibe. The food was amazing as usual and it came out quickly! Never a bad meal here. Unfortunately, one star off for the service. We have come to expect the high caliber of service offered from Robin & Francesca from past visits. Our server Jessica was nice enough but not very attentive. We had to keep asking for our drinks to be refilled although it was very obvious that our glasses were empty. And there weren't a lot of people there. So our server really missed the mark. Thankfully, the food is consistently outstanding and mediocre service won't dissuade us from returning.

I LOVE me some Phil's BBQ!!! Been a fan for years!…read more I used to drive all the way from Palm Springs to San Diego just to get my fix at least once a year before I made the move to Los Angeles So when I found out they opened a location in Temecula, you already know I had to pull up for some ribs!!! Service was great, and the food was finger-licking GOOD I'm honestly shocked if I ever have leftovers! It's always a great time at Phil's never disappoints Just a heads up: make sure you give yourself plenty of time because it's ALWAYS busy! Expect lines out the door, but trust me... it's worth it

That corn bread be hitting!!!…read more Oh my gosh. I am obsessed with the cornbread at Phil's BBQ. It is by far the best cornbread I have ever had! I didn't know I liked cornbread before Phil's LOL now I know that I like it, just only like it at Phil's lol My husband also loves the cornbread. The maple butter is aaaaaaaamazing on top too! I could eat this all day. We brought the leftovers home and my husband and I were fighting over the last piece! I'm not even joking lol That being said, I also ordered some cheese fries. I also ordered the giant pretzel with cheese. The pretzel wasn't bad. The cheese that came with it was fire. I used that cheese and poured it on my fries to make that better. It was bomb! I did eat some of the pretzel, it was soft on the inside and warm. I would order the cheese fries again, but do the cheese sauce from the pretzel on it instead of grated cheese. My husband ordered one of the rib combos and he enjoyed the ribs. He didn't care for the macaroni salad much though. We both wish that Phil's BBQ had a macaroni and cheese. They really need to add it to the menu. That as a side, would be much better! Service was fine. You walk up to order and go up to get your food, when it's done.

I ordered Uber eats from this place when I was on a work trip and it came really really fast and…read morethe order was 100% accurate and the food was pretty good. I ordered a lunch combo plate and it was really good value for the money. There was enough food for about six people in this one box and I ordered the scallops and the Kahlúa pork. The scallops were good, although there was a lot of breading for a pretty small scallop. The Kalua pork was good, but I felt like it made me needed some barbecue sauce which I requested, but I'm not sure if they don't have it at that restaurant overall the food was really yummy and I also loved the rice and the Mac salad. I'm not able to touch on the ambience of the actual restaurant because I got food delivered however I was really impressed with the overall service of how quickly this was prepared and delivered to me.

I was really excited to try Big Islands in Murrieta because we were craving some island flavors,…read morebut unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We ordered the teriyaki chicken, and sadly, it was very bland with no real flavor. The garlic shrimp I got was also dry and had no sauce, which made it hard to enjoy. Our kids didn't really want to eat their meals either, which was a bummer because we had high hopes for a fun, flavorful family dinner. The location is a bit awkward, tucked in a corner and across the street from the main entrance, and the cleanliness of the restaurant could definitely be improved. I'm sad to say that the food quality just wasn't up to our standards, and unfortunately, we won't be returning. I hope the restaurant can take this feedback and make some improvements because the concept and menu have a lot of potential.
