Great family owned business. Very honest and hardworking people, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into the food. We had the cheeseburger, crab Rangoon, and buffalo chicken eggrolls and I have to say my favorite with the buffalo chicken. Such a unique fusion of flavors and I heard they have over 20 at their actual store. I know how hard it is to get a spot at an event as a food truck, so I'm glad I got to see them at the Dragon Boat Festival this time.

Disclaimer: 1. Only tried the food truck version, which I had for lunch today. 2. I really wanna give a 3.5, since it doesn't deserve a 4, but it's better than a 3. Friendly staff, easy ordering, though very small subset of the full offerings, with only 3 egg roll types available (the brick-and-mortar location has 16). These are smaller egg rolls, more along the lines of a Vietnamese egg roll or a mini version of a Chinese spring roll. Know going in that this isn't going to be something you'd get on an old school pupu platter. Also know that you gotta order in pairs that can't be mixed. So if getting two, it's two of the same kind. I found a trading buddy. Buffalo Chicken Egg Roll ($5 for 2): Soft, tender meat, a little dry, a little spicy. Served with a tiny container of blue cheese for dipping. Cheeseburger Egg Roll ($5 for 2): Soft, crumbly meat, good moisture, cheese melted in, good ratio of protein to shell. Served with a tiny container of ketchup for dipping. General Gau's Chicken ($16 for plate): Think McNuggets, with a similar size and flat shape, only higher quality. Moist. Batter not crisp at all, but when is it crisp even at a Chinese restaurant? Lacking in the sauce and flavor departments. More of a clear, thin glaze than a sauce, and needed more of it. Served with white rice and pickled cabbage. Solid portion.

Food and boba always 10/10. Quick and friendly service. Crab Rangoon eggrolls are always a fav. Tried the curry fried for the first time and they were so good!

My boyfriend went to school around here and said this place was his favorite place to eat. We stopped by and I got his usual, and it was such a simple meal but it was so good. The food came out very fast and hot. The chicken katsu was crunchy and seasoned well and the rice was perfectly steamed. The meal overall was good and well portioned. The restaurant also had Vietnamese coffee, which was refreshing. There were lots of students around so it felt very chill. I can see why my bf loves this place! If we lived closer, I would come back for sure!

I haven't been to Eggroll Cafe since like 2018 and my husband wanted to try it again so bad, so we went. They had a cute display of merch items like insulated bags(?), shirts, plushies, etc. I noticed the Bossen poster on the window so I had an idea of what the boba tea would be like, as a former Bobarista myself. Our server was very kind and helped explain anything we needed help with. We got both the Raspberry fruit tea and slush, and I got the hot taro milk tea because it was chilly outside. We didn't get boba pearls tho, so I can't comment on the texture. The raspberry tasted just as I expected it to from my experience using the Bossen brand. It was candy like. The taro also brought back the nostalgic taste of sugary taro of the Bossen powder, contrary to what most boba shops use nowadays which is different brands that taste more "natural". It was nice, but I probably should've asked for less sugar. We got 3 orders of egg rolls, which if you're confused on how to order, each order you get comes with 2 egg rolls, and 1 flavor for each order. So we got the original pork, crab Rangoon, and chicken Basil flavors. The original was good, crab Rangoon was good, and chicken basil was also good with a lot of mozzarella cheese inside. It came with dipping sauce as well, but we wanted to try it as it was. It was good, but not good enough to spend $13 on. I also got the takoyaki and was really good, comparable to the taste of Bonchon and Teado's takoyaki. However, it make have been a little undercooked as I went to sleep and woke up with a stomachache. Even though we wouldn't come back to get drinks, we are interested in trying their other food like chicken katsu and supreme beef dishes.

Having had tried 4 different eggrolls, my favorites from most the least would be the duck, cheeseburger, buffalo chicken, and crab rangoon. In addition to the eggrolls, we also got their mango tea as well as passionfruit tea with boba. The pearls must not have been fresh as they were more on the firm side but the fruit teas did the job. Adjusting sweetness and ice levels weren't advertised as with other boba shops so I didn't make my usual adjustments. Overall, we had a good experience in this laid back establishment with fun flavors and options to pick from. Would come again to their some of their main dishes as portion sizes seemed to be huge.

I did not get the chance to visit their location in Lowell but I tried their food when I visited the Night Market in Boston. The egg rolls featured in the image are cheeseburger, Buffalo, and crab Rangoon flavored. They came with their respective sauces like ketchup, ranch, and sweet and sour. Cheeseburger flavor was quite beefy and cheesy. Buffalo one kind of reminded me of kimchi since it had some spice. Crab Rangoon spring rolls just tasted like typical crab rangoons but it was not bad. The takoyaki was aesthetically nice but taste wise too soft. Service was rather speedy despite having a large number of people at the market.

Egg rolls are delicious! Many varieties to choose from. Different twist of sauce as well to go with the egg rolls.

As far as I know, there isn't. If you haven't seen their menu or been there, their prices aren't expensive, they are pretty decent. The flavors will be well worth the price. If you want to get a bang for your buck I'd recommend the Bento boxes or… Read more

They've cut the order down from 8 to 6 wings while raising the price another dollar from 3 months ago. A 10 piece order of wings is now $18; which is on par with every location near me. Even the chicken strips are priced the same. I've championed BonChon to all of my friends and brought lots of people, but these prices are unsustainable. I've gotta say, I've been converted to bb.q chicken lover these last few years but it's always nice to revisit Bonchon's chicken. This Asian fusion restaurant…read moreoffers dine-in, takeout, and DoorDash delivery, a spacious dining area with ample table seating, a full service bar with high soft seats offering 12 beers on draft, wine, and cocktails and sushi bar. For food, they offer the usual suspects such as appetizers (gyoza, spring rolls, shumai crab rangoons, edamame, skewers, chicken fingers, scallion pancake...), soup, salads, noodle soups, stir fried noodles, fried rice, bento boxes, teriyaki dinners, katsu, donburi, sushi rolls, and sashimi entrees and appetizers. The pricing is moderate here. On my way back home, I passed through Lowell and decided to stop in at Koto for takeout, later in the evening before closing time. The place wasn't too busy on a hot weeknight. I decided on the Shrimp & Veggie Yaki Udon Noodles ($16 plus tax), which was hot, ready and bagged in a nice looking sealed Koto reusable bag. The food was still hot when I arrived home about 30 minutes later. The portion seemed modest, but expected since I ordered the thick round udon noodles. This dish had a mix of soft udon noodles, carrots, broccoli, onions, red peppers, cabbage, zucchini, and tender shrimp (cleaned). Other than the noodle dish being a bit overcooked, it tasted pretty good. I will very likely order the pork katsu with rice & salad or a bento box on the next visit to Koto in Lowell.

This place was dead at 10pm on a wednesday. I showed up at 10:30, having read the flyer stating…read morekaraoke starts at 10pm... false advertising. I am standing there while the "DJ" literally sits and eats drinks and smokes, and the excuse to sit around and do nothing is he "has no singers". I arrive half an hour after the official start time and he would not let me do karaoke. This guy does the same thing wherever he goes it's crazy. Then the angry owner protects his friend rather than hold him accountable for not doing his job.. It's no wonder the nightlife scene in Lowell is dead. These people put their delinquent friends and/or family before their customers. Hopefully some business-minded people will take these spots over where, these people are taking the location and the local people for granted. The fact that he even said, "starting at 10pm" is crazy, and shows how out of touch and uncaring these business people are, as any1 with a middleschool education can clearly see the entire problem was that karaoke...from my own FIRST HAND ACCOUNT, hadn't started at 10pm. Yes, please do as this guy says; be there at 10pm like I did and see if the karaoke isn't started by 10:33 pm (which is when I finally left) or even 10pm as he's claiming, make sure you also leave this owner a 1 Star review to prevent more uppity out-of-town business owners who think they run the place from taking advantage of local spots where good businesses would actually thrive and add value to the area instead of more smug, cynical, every man for himself, here today, gone tomorrow turn-key bullcrap. This guy is delusional... everything I stated was a first hand account, for him to flat out LIE is crazy. Also the story he is giving here doesn't match up with what he said in his own restaurant. I had a face to face convo with this guy INSIDE the restaurant.. the karaoke hadn't started and he knew that because he told me, "this DJ had a method where he waits for a bunch of singers to show up". So this guy KNEW and yet he calls out the truth on me, what a snake. What a pompous, nose-in-the-air person this guy is. Untruths, lol a word the news uses to blanket discount anything any1 says. Goes to show even people with money can be crazy, it's not just the guy strung out sitting on trash. Also, this DJ's "method" is him sitting around drinking, smoking, and ordering drinks WELL PAST the karaoke start time. I literally went to another location that "hires" him (more like a charity donation) and it was LITERALLY past 11:30 pm and this same DJ hadn't started yet despite the start time being 10pm.... These big business types want you to shut up and take it and be quiet, they care nothing of the service they provide.
