My first time to have a meal here, even though they've been open for quite a few months. First of all, they need a sign when you enter to say, 'Wait to be seated", or, they need a sign in sheet. The person at the entrance had her back turned taking another customer's To-Go order. When I asked her do we seat ourselves or wait to be seated, she coldly replies to give her a few minutes. NOT a good first impression! Food- wholesome, warm and good. Service- questionable beginning with the hostess, and then another person seated two of us on a table that seats 6 people, & there was a booth available and also 4 tables that seat 4 empty! Our server made up for the terrible seating. She was awesome, quick, and professional. Didn't get a name though. Atmosphere was clean and updated. I wish I had given this place a visit awhile back. We have liked the one in West Virginia Charleston when traveling and thought yay a new breakfast place. Been here three times since opening and the food is a joke. Potatoes are always cold and smushy like microwaved. When I walked by I see they r made once for the whole day. I seen eight huge trays made ahead of time and then some how reheated. Always arrives at table cold and gross. Ordered egg white omelette. It was flat thin and rubbery. Ugh, NO! So so mediocre and we will not return. Drive the extra ten mins to downtown Raleigh for real breakfast at Parkside or Whiskey Kitchen. We will pass here. You could do better with making at home or going and getting an egg McMuffin I hate to say. read more

Disappointed. We tried this place twice. The food was okay. Nothing to complain about but not great. We were seated quickly the first time and the table was very sticky. It took a long time to get someone to come back and clean it. It actually took a long time to get attention for anything. Place an order...wait. Refill on coffee...wait. Get the check...wait. Can you please attend to your customers? It was not busy, but you complained to us that you are short staffed, but you had 4 people standing around doing nothing. That is not my problem and I don't care to hear about it during my meal. Unfortunately, I did not see improvement the second time which was 2 weeks later. Really glad to have this new spot in the neighborhood! We visited at 10 am on Sunday and there was a 45 minute-1 hour wait. (20+ folks waiting standing outside... could definitely use some benches, etc.) We got our six takeout orders in just over 30 minutes and with a 20 minute drive to our destination, the food quality held up well. As an area for improvement for the new business, front of house could make more use of their technology... they collected a phone number for each reservation and to go order but didn't use them for notification or status updates... they kept coming outside and vocally trying to locate groups. We look forward to coming back for dine-in service at an off-peak time. read more

I want to start out by saying thank you for building this Eggs Up Grill establishment in Garner, N.C. But, Im not here to praise the corporate side, but want to say that the three times I have visited Eggs Up Grill, the food has been fireworks to my palate. I ordered hash browns potatoes cooked crispy and they came back perfect. Not over cooked, nor undercooked and soft. The veggie omelette was great and I'm not a big drinker but the strawberry mimosa was good too. Last but not least, the main reason of writing this review was a specific waitress I've had at the bar seats named Kaylie. Very sweet and soft spoken young lady with a slight smile that makes you feel warm and welcomed to be there. It's hard finding personable and friendly waitresses/waiters (Or any service industry) these days, so when I do, I try to thank them in person and sometimes online. Thank you Kaylie! Now I just hope people will not start sitting at the bar wanting her to wait on them! Geeez, should have just kept my mouth closed!! read more

Crab cake Benedict was so-so. Corned beef hash Benedict was better. The Corned beef hash is better by itself, though, than getting their Benedicts which they serve on a toast. Hollandaise sauce was too thick (I imagine one of those instant ones). Gluten-free banana pancakes had an off flavor to it (like cheap imitation flavor). Grits were fantastic. Unlike many restaurants that serve breakfast, and lunch, then close by 2, the staff, and restaurant seemed genuinely glad to have me as their guest. The place was spotless, including the restroom. Tables were clean, floors spotless, and no one running around with a broom, and a dustpan trying to run off the tables that were occupied, Not just Leah either, all of the staff appeared happy with their work, their Customers. The food was excellent, the chocolate chop waffle with fresh berries eggs, and bacon were too much, and the waffle tasted refreshingly like a cookie. Came on a Saturday. The service was alright besides having to wait an awkward amount of time for each part of our visit. They were definitely felt understaffed even though there were a few workers up front just standing there. The food was good and the wait wasn't bad. My mother had asked for no seasoning as she is alergic to MSG. The food she was served was fully seasoned so we just boxed it and took it home. Our server with blonde hair was really sweet and understanding! Me and my friend had ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancakes unaware that it was a lemon custard as the topping, i am allergic to lemon and once i told another worker she kindly took it back. i noticed a few minutes later they were mocking what i had said, laughing and saying "oh im just deathly allergic" at this point my friend was very disappointed with her food as her eggs were extremely cold when they came out. when i sent my food back so did my friend, a worker came out and wasn't very understanding of why she sent hers back aswell. overall we are just disappointed with the disrespect coming from the workers at this restaurant. they stand around constantly laughing and making jokes, it is also very obvious that they are talking about the customers. they aren't very aware that customers are listening to what they are saying, we heard one of the guys talking about his last experience being drunk in a bar. i am just very disappointed. read more

This was a great place for breakfast/brunch, they are only open until 2:00pm, and do not serve dinner meals. Good sandwiches, try the Turkey BLT, very good.($$) Happy to hear that they are opening new stores in the Raleigh area. The key is you can't normally walk in without a long wait but the good news is they have and online or on call wait list and they will call you when your table is ready. Waited close to 45 minutes when there was plenty of staff available to serve and clean tables - they were sitting around talking with a huge amount of people waiting. Got sat and took 10 minutes for waitress to greet us. Food took a long time then had long black hair in food. Took 15-20 minutes to try to get waitress back to our table to even pay bill. Finally asked hostess who said she'd get her to pay it but waited even longer and finally asked manager. Pretty rough experience. Location at Holly Springs is a ton more efficient. We won't be back to the Garner location. read more
