Tried out a new breakfast and lunch spot near my friend's place - because vacation calories don't count, but eventually you gotta get back to basics. We both went for the Breakfast BLT, which hit the spot after a week of nonstop vacation indulgence. Just a heads-up: there's also an "Egg Up BLT" on the lunch menu, which sounds like it should have an egg but doesn't. (It's actually the lunch version and is named after the restaurant. Confusing, right?) We requested our eggs runny (and sadly, they were not) but the sandwich still came through with all the right vibes: savory, satisfying, and exactly what we needed to get back on track... sort of. Service was super fast and genuinely friendly. The place is very clean too.

Order for the first time from DoorDash. I can't say I enjoyed the food. At least what I ordered. The food looked amazing but it was just missing the flavor all together. Did not eat there so can't say about the service or the ambiance.

Hello friendly neighborhood diner! Think local Denny's. Atmosphere light and bright. Definitely giving off coastal/seaside vibes. Eggs up Grill is a chain, so no worries there. The staff deserves a 10 out of 10. Welcoming, warm, and checked on us consistently. We loved the management and the staff! Solid food. My biggest gripe would be food temperature, as food was lukewarm- not hot. However, the food is delivered promptly, so there is that. This isn't gourmet dining. On this particular dining experience, I overheard a customer requesting maple syrup. This isn't that kind of establishment. Expect a solid dining experience at an affordable price point. This location is pretty new. Inside is bright and cheerful. Ashley our server was nice, service was pretty slow- she may have had too many tables? We were there over an hour- our water was eventually filled 3 times. Food i had the fried chicken steak, 2 eggs over easy, grits and rye bread. The eggs were cooked correctly, the chicken steak and grits were ok not much flavor at all the gravy was bland. The rye was a mix of rye and pumpernickel it was good (too much butter) I also had the grilled blueberry muffin - that was worth getting! It was crunchy and soft- the flavors were great.

I was so glad this spot opened, I needed another brunchest type spot near me. On a morning post a sleep study @ Sleepworks I awoke hungry and popped in. It was maybe my 3rd time and gladly the food was still impressive.

Really cute little breakfast spot. The staff got us seated quickly and the our server was there quickly. Ordered a "build your own" omelette and the "classic bennie" both were good. The omelette was nicely thin with excellent filling (sausage and two cheeses), the classic eggs Benedict had nicely poached eggs and the Hollandaise sauce was good. The eggs also had a nice subtle spice in the Hollandaise which added a nice layer of flavor. My only concern was that the English muffin wasn't actually toasted, which sort of leaves you feeling like you're eating under-baked, doughy bread. Just showing the muffin the heating element in the toaster and then slapping an egg and sauce sort of ruins the experience. We waited probably 20 minutes for our food, it wasn't overly busy so undercooked/toasted English muffins is sort of no bueno. So one star off for that

If you ever have that urge for an eggs and bacony/pancakey kind of meal between 6am and 2pm, I recommend this place on the corner of W. Millbrook and Glenwood! First time in, ambiance welcoming, service good and the food hits the spot! Never ever to be confused with several other breakfast 'joints' - definitely several cuts above! Enjoy! We will always return when we have that 'urge'!!

Highly recommend Eggs Up Grill for a decent, nutritious brunch. We have visited their other locations several times and recently tried their North Raleigh location (Glenwood/Millbrook intersection). This order I chose the chorizo sampler, usually we go for a bowl or a pancake. As usual I could not finish my meal in one sitting and finished the rest later. This time I ordered a blueberry muffin that had been recommended to me by a regular. The sliced, buttered, then toasted muffin was delicious!

I found this spot on Google, and my husband and I decided to give it a try. We're so glad we did! The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Destiny, was so kind and attentive. We'll definitely be coming back -- and bringing friends with us!

This space was farmhouse cute! The waiter and manager were very polite. The waitress noticed where new and offered us croissant fried donuts which were very good! We ordered the Grand Classic. The food came out quick and was hot. The pancakes and eggs reminded me of IHOP and everything was very well prepared.

After getting to know many of the staff over the years of frequenting there, anything to make every staff member walk out at the same time has to be big enough to leave a sour taste in your mouth. Am truly sad to see such a Raleigh staple not see the value in the community their staff created. The place was crowded but there was no wait. I got seated immediately at a table near a column in the middle of the restaurant and Christy came over and asked if I wanted anything to drink. She brought me iced water and gave me time to look at the menu. I wanted to try so many things and I was too optimistic about ordering 3 things and finishing them myself. Good thing I only ordered 2 things! An order of fried catfish with home fries and one egg. And a biscuit with sausage gravy. The fried catfish was salted and well fried. It tasted delicious for my first bite! The home fries were basically cut potatoes, but they weren't very fried or flavored. I wished I ordered the side of apple sauce instead. The biscuit and sausage was good, but a bit too much for one person after eating a separate order already. Definitely bring more people so you can try more things. Also, I wished I had asked for sausage gravy on the side so I can try the biscuit on its own first as well. Furthermore, I would have more time to eat the catfish so I wasn't worried about the biscuit getting soggy. Christy came to check up on me every now and then. The place was buzzing with people and decorations so I didn't feel so alone. When it was time to pay, Christy brought me the check for me to pay at the cash register. Both Christy and the cashier were so friendly! The restaurant does have a women's and a mens restroom if needed.
