Eggs Up Grill is one of the newer places in Midlothian for breakfast. My friend had been mentioning this place for months and we finally found our way here. The service was prompt and tight. I found this to be refreshing to say the least. The restaurant is fun and decorative. Eggs Up Grill is easy to describe. It's your basic fare breakfast food; DONE RIGHT. You don't need to re-invent the wheel or offer over the top egg's benedicts with flavored mimosas. Sometimes we Americans just want a classic diner breakfast, but have it done well. Those eggs and potatoes need to be good quality and cooked properly. That's what Eggs Up Grill is to me, a place that takes the most classic breakfast platters and does them right. The food is delicious, and the prices are right. My homies Maria and David gave this place 5 stars and I'm also bestowing a glowing 5 stars.

This was our first time at this location. We saw reviews indicating that they were shorted staff so I went in "guarded" and there might be some truth to that, but "we" didn't experience any significant delays. I think some of the larger groups that showed up might have. Prices are on point. Breakfast was delicious. Good coffee. We will return to try a few other items that caught our eye. Keep up the nice work..

I came here while on a business trip for breakfast of a Tuesday. It was pretty empty inside but it was early on Tuesday so maybe it got more busy after. We were sat right away. The food came out quickly which was perfect to fit in breakfast before work. It was pretty tasty. I would say food was 3.5 stars. Was a very standard breakfast/diner place.

Service was quick and friendly. Food was good and pretty affordable for the current time. I'll definitely be back! Even my 7 year old son loved it!

Very friendly folks, though not quick to greet people walking in. The service was fast, as promised, and our to-go sandwiches were bagged and ready to go. Opened them in the car and discovered that my wife's eggs were a little undercooked, which actually turned out for the best as I am an idiot and ordered it incorrectly. I ordered the "Egg Bomb", and was a little underwhelmed with the amount of egg, and it had a TON of mayo. We both agreed that the brioche bun was too much bread and not enough "guts". Pricing was fair for the quality and size of the sandwiches. Overall, we both said that we enjoyed it and would definitely eat there again, but it didn't "wow" us to the point that we can't wait to go back.

Ordered this food through DoorDash. The food had great seasoning and large portions. It took me about 2 days to finish it.

I am we have ordered from here many times last year and they have consistently provided very good food. We have a "usual" order and have not been disappointed at all. The flavored drinks are good as well. The strawberry spritzer is tasty. I did not care for their flavored coffee as the creamer was heavy and overpowered the drink. I believe they the only issue would be an inconsistency with their omelette that includes avocado as sometimes it comes sliced and other times it's mashed. It was sent sliced initially and that was the expectation in subsequent orders. The portions are plentiful and that has been consistent. Very filling.

    The order I recieved!!

Eggs Up Grill you charged 28.00 dollars for this trash?? The order was build your own breakfast sandwich, bacon (extra bacon) and cheddar on toast and a sausage egg and cheddar on muffin. The cheese on the bacon and toast was pretty much non- existent and clearly no extra bacon. No egg on the muffin, sausauge patties were were rock hard and cheese put in a side cup. Eggs Up Grill is this the Quality of food you really want to serve your customers?!?! It's a shame to spend with tip (which wasn't warranted) over 30.00 for what was served to me. DO BETTER!!! I certainly will never come to your restaurant again and advise anyone I know to avoid your establishment!!! Ridiculous!!!!

Not much flavor. Kids chicken strips were a chicken patty that was overcooked and cut up. Also came out lukewarm at best. The Rueben was soggy and had about three slices of meat on it. Very little sauce on the sandwich no and was charged for extra when I asked for more. Added the Parmesan truffle fries which were powered Parmesan with some truffle oil sprinkled on top. Again all lukewarm. The Timberwolf burger had maybe two jalapeño's on it and the onions were burnt. The regular burgers and kids are the same size. Housemade pickles were soggy and the cucumber skins were tough. The quality of food from when we had eaten here a couple years ago was subpar in comparison. If you are going to charge for upscale items then they need to be upscale in the quality of what you are serving. Will not be back.

Parking in the area is a little difficult and Sunday at lunch is no different. We were able to find street parking a few blocks down and were happy to enjoy the Spring weather. The menu has so many tempting options that it was hard to choose, but we both landed on the Hot Chicken Sandwich with cayenne butter--and we're glad we did. It had the perfect amount of heat: enough to bring some spice without overpowering the flavor. On the side, I ordered the green beans after our bartender/server highly recommended them. Normally, green beans wouldn't be my first choice, but they were seasoned perfectly and ended up being one of the biggest surprises of the meal. My partner chose the mac and cheese, which was the superior side (although both were excellent). The service was friendly, attentive, and genuine throughout the evening. Despite arriving on a Friday night without a reservation, we had no trouble getting a table. They only accept reservations for parties of 5-8, so I'm glad we decided to take our chances. One of my favorite parts of the evening was chatting with another guest at the bar. He and his wife shared several entrées with their young son, and they couldn't stop raving about the short ribs--which their son happily claimed for himself by the end of the meal! They also highly recommended the salmon, so we've already got ideas for our next visit. The only real downside has nothing to do with the restaurant itself: parking in Scott's Addition can be a challenge. I'd recommend allowing yourself some extra time to find a spot or, even better, taking a rideshare so you can start enjoying your evening right away. Lunch. Supper! has earned its reputation as a longtime Richmond favorite. Great food, excellent service, and a relaxed atmosphere make this an easy five-star recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

It's a very popular restaurant, so today, when we entered, while we were greeted right away, there was a 30 minute wait. There's no physical menus, instead you scan a QR code which brings you to their menu. They have lots of drink options, including several specialty cocktails, beers, and ciders. Our waiter was super sweet and attentive, and the food came out relatively quickly. For my drink, I ordered a local cider from a Virginia ciderie, as well as the It's A Wrap, which has cheddar, ranch, mixed greens, tomatoes, onions, peppers, and your choice of protein (I got tofu). I also got a side of the Mac and cheese, which I could tell was made in house. Super creamy and flavorful with a hint of spice. My wrap was also insanely good! I'm impressed by the amount of vegetarian options here. Any burger can be made both gluten free or vegan, and the choices of protein make it more accessible for everyone who comes in. I'm really happy we were recommended this place!
