Wait for good was terribly long. We have been waiting approximately 20-25 mins for our food. Had to constantly ask out waitresses for items such as re fills. We actually spoke to the manager about our service. We actually just ended up leaving without even seeing the food we ordered. read more

We always forget about eggs up but I am so happy we remembered it this morning!! My husband loves the corned beef hash and I got a waffle and it was freaking delicious. My entire meal was cold and barely edible. I ordered the steak & eggs. The steak was the hardest piece of meat I've ever had. I couldn't even cut it with the steak knife. As the fella said, it's better than an IHOP... but that's really not saying much. We got there around 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning, and by the time we left, there were quite a few people waiting. What's odd is that booths line the perimeter, and in the middle is a huge amount of space with only 4 tables - it looks and feels weird. They could definitely add more tables. There was also a manager who just kept uncomfortably stalking all the tables and walking around aimlessly. For breakfast, I ordered the fruit and yogurt parfait with an English muffin, and it was pretty good. I appreciated that they put fruit throughout, not just on the top. The fella got the corned beef hash, and he said it got worse as he ate it, but the breakfast potatoes were okay. It took an unusual amount of time to get our food though. The coffee was super weak, and it took FOREVER to get a refill because our waitress said the first pot she made had coffee grounds all in it, so I had to wait for a second pot - to be fair, it was decaf, but still. I have been here twice and both times I have waited ten or so minutes to be greeted by my server and only after asking for someone to ask my server to come by. Opened recently. In first three days my wife and I were there twice. Once for breakfast and once for lunch. Manager greeted us both times at our table, very professional. For breakfast I had their loaded platter. Their famous home fries covered with two eggs. My wife had bacon, eggs and hash browns. Both very good. Coffee was also good. Did not make it in to try the food as my fiancé had a bad experience with the hostess. They were a little busy which is totally fine, we were in no hurry. Saw a sign outside the restaurant advertising to join the waitlist via Yelp. I did this so that we would not need to go in and stand in a crowd of people waiting for tables and sent my fiancé in to check in with the hostess, as instructed by the app. After waiting for someone to come to the hostess stand for a while, someone finally walks up and he lets her know that we are on the waitlist via Yelp and that he was just checking in to let them know we were here. She turned to him and said "Okay well it's still going to be fifteen minutes" and then briskly turned away to help somebody else waiting for a table. We were not trying to jump in line or get a table before anyone else, he was only checking in as the waitlist service that THEY ADVERTISE said to do. This was our first visit and we did not even bother to stay and try the food and likely will not be back. I don't mind waiting and the fact that they were busy was not the problem, it was the attitude of the hostess that we were trying to help by joining the waitlist online. read more

If you are black do not patronize this business. The hostess barely greeted us when we walked in. She asked us to wait while she sat another patron, which was not an issue. When the hostess finished with the patrons she proceeded to greet another couple who'd come after us. She took their names and the amount in their party, then asked us to wait once again. Tried this establishment out for the first time a couple weeks ago and I will be honest and say I will NEVER be back!!! Food was okay but the service was horrendous. My waitress was a sweet girl but one of the older servers left a bad taste in my mouth. Becky? I believe it was, she was horrible. We were extremely disappointed this morning with Eggs Up. Although we were seated quickly, our server was too busy and we had another server take our drink order then food order. Open booths were available, which I requested and was told they couldn't seat us there! Several minutes later, booths were seated and they received their food and paid before we received our food. We asked to speak with the owner and were told it's an average of 16 minutes per order and our food happened to be on the grill that was backed up! Really?? Because our food was cold (butter wouldn't melt on waffles or grits) we barely ate and picked up food on the way home so we wouldn't be hungry! Owner didn't seem to think it was a big deal that we counted (5) tables come in after us, ordered after us and ate their food before we were ever served! Will probably never go back after this visit! My husband and I went for breakfast on a Sunday morning to meet his mother & sister. It's a nice size restaurant with mostly booths.. great menu. We ordered and waited and waited. We have a 2 cup rule. If we don't have our food by the time we finish our second cup of coffee we drop a 5.00 bill and leave. It doesn't matter if the food is walking to us. We don't drink coffee fast; it's usually about 30/40 minutes. Needless to say the mgr came over and apologized and by the time the food did come out it was cold. The mgr came back over and said the food was on him and he asked that we come back and try again. So I'm sure we will.. we usually give 3 tries. If it still hasn't gotten their act together we don't go back.. consistency is the key** read more

We tried Eggs Up Grill this morning for breakfast. It has been open less than a week and is a wonderful place to eat. The staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, friendly and attentive. The manager is constantly checking with tables and visiting with customers. The noise level makes it easy to visit with the people at your table. The food was outstanding and very well priced. I guess this is exciting to me because we have tried two other newer close by eating places and they had horrible service, food, noise levels and attitudes. First time at this location. Came with my father. Ordered an egg white omelette. Omelette came out with a long strand of hair running across part of the omelette and half the plate. There is no way that you could miss it. I brought it to the waiters attention and cancelled my order in fear they would just remove the hair and bring me the same omelette. My dad had eggs on a bagel which he liked. I was surprised nobody from their staff asked if I would like something else. Customer service is not good at this location. read more
