Just left Eggsellent cafe 10 minutes ago and probably will be last time go back. My girlfriend and I both ordered the traditional breakfast platter and the hash browns on both plates came out under cook. I always loved Eggsellent for their fluffy pancakes but today they were outright disgusting. I rarely leave bad reviews but this place is terrible! The food is low quality, the service although friendly, very poor and the environment is not welcoming. The staff was all over the place which is a sign of poor training. My son ordered the chicken and waffles and it looked and tasted like Walmart's frozen in a bag chicken. The food presentation is also bad. I was offered a coffee refill that never made it. Needless to say I will not be coming here again. read more

Awesome food and great service! The staff is so friendly and the portion sizes are huge! They are always packed but the longest my family of 4 ever waited was 15 minutes. The menu is enormous but it's a breakfast/lunch menu and everything is always fresh! We go there at least once a week and have never had any issues! read more

I'm sorry but this place is really horrible... the service was really bad. She gave me attitude every time I asked for something small, like hot sauce which she didn't even offer (most places do after they set your food down). The food took over 30 minutes to come out and it was very slow, there were maybe two or three other tables besides mine. Our food was stone cold! I asked for hot syrup and when she brought it, it was cold...asked if she could warm it up and she goes "I put it in the microwave already" and then walked away!???? I asked if we could talk to the manager and she said they aren't here...ok. Went up to pay and the cashier said "give me a minute" and proceeded to walk away. I told him we were in a hurry because we were getting late for work and this kid literally said "just leave cash then..." and left! Never coming here again. Really trash. read more

This is my favorite breakfast spot. This place is a family owned/run and the staff treats you like family. The food is always fresh, every dish is delicious and the prices can't be beat. Great bunch place in little elm area. It's pretty much packed on weekends and the food has always been great.

The food here is legendary. The service was top-notch. The only downside is the wait to get in. Once inside anything you point your finger at will end up being a well put together top-notch breakfast. My personal favorite is the country fried steak. My wife likes the fruit crapes those are pretty amazing I must say. Overall this is a place you want to take people visiting from out of town, this is the place that you want to crack open your piggy bank and use your extra money to go have a nice meal. The meat lover skillet was amazing!! The fresh squeezed orange juice was great, steak ribeye and eggs was delicious. We love this place.

Arrived and was promptly seated at around 1:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Server was quick and very friendly, thank you Kristen! Coca Cola products so got a Diet Coke. Just a tad watery but happy it was Coke. Large menu with lots of tasty options. Got the southern combo w/ sausage gravy and biscuit, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon (gave to other diner with me) and salsa on the side. All so delicious and came out super fast!! Everything was top notch and was able to enjoy portions with not much left over. Biscuit and sausage gravy was great size and warm. Hash browns were actually cooked as described crisp and hard, not soft which is great. Eggs were delicious and perfectly cooked as specified. Had a couple bites of my companions waffle and it was AMAZING. Syrup brand was hush-hush and deserves to be so. Salsa is made in house everyday and was great addition to eggs, or even by self.
