We go to First Watch often after church, but today's visit truly stood out. From the moment we were seated, the experience was exceptional--largely thanks to Chad, who has been our server before and once again went above and beyond. Chad immediately brought our drinks, took our orders, and offered thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes. We had a child with us, and he was incredibly attentive by making sure her breakfast came out first, which was so appreciated and made the experience even smoother for our family. That level of care does not go unnoticed. The restaurant was spotless, including the bathrooms, which always says a lot about a place. Our food was delicious, fresh, and exactly what we were hoping for. This continues to be our favorite First Watch location, and after today, we will absolutely be requesting Chad every time we visit. My friends and I had breakfast at First Watch, one of my go-to spots, so I had to bring my friend who was visiting from out of town. I ordered the Traditional Breakfast--scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a side of gluten-free toast. I also had their organic Morning Meditation juice, which was fresh and delicious. My friends enjoyed their meals as well, and our server, Tony, was amazing. He checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, and was very attentive throughout our visit. My family and I came in yesterday for brunch. My sister had joined the online waiting list, but before she had done that she called them in and was told the wait would be 10-20 min and to join the waiting list. We thought that's perfect because it will take us about that time to get there. We arrive only to be told their waiting list online is down and that the online option is for their other Prosper location. So that was a bit off putting. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes but were able to be seated on their patio. Our waitress took our drink orders and I had ordered the million dollar Bloody Mary, however that didn't arrive until after our food arrived. That was a bit off putting as well considering I ended up only drinking about half of it because at that point I was pretty full off of my meal. The drink itself was good and the bacon with it was very tasty. Our meals very great though. I loved my avocado toast and eggs. And I also had a side of cheese grits too. Grits were great, almost like polenta. My kiddo ordered the orange juice with her strawberry tres leches French toast. It looked very delicious and I heard no complaints from her. Overall, food wise it was great. Customers service just needs to be tweaked a little bit. I realize it was a busy holiday weekend but an online system confusion and missing a drink are still easy things to overcome no matter how slow or busy a location may be. read more

Really wanted to love it and the photos looked so good but it just missed the mark. The wait was about 25 minutes which wasn't too bad but then once we were seated we had to wait another 15 for anyone to come to us and had to ask a random server walking by for some water. The server was very nice but she got our order wrong. We ordered the million dollar bacon and after our meal came out we didn't see the bacon so we reminded her. After we were pretty much done with our meal she brings out a regular side of bacon so I ask "Is this the million dollar bacon" and she says oops.... So we just cancelled the order of the bacon entirely as we were already getting ready to leave. My wife got the french toast which was honestly very basic. She didn't go for the lavender french toast but instead went with a slightly modified floridian french toast (no kiwi). It was fine, a solid 6/10. I got the B.E.C. which was alright but the flavors just didn't mesh well. The eggs were piping hot and impossible to eat in a sandwich and they were wet so the bread became a soggy mess. I had to take the eggs out and ate just the sandwich with bacon (thin slice, mediocre bacon) and the pickled peppers. The sauce was also very spicy and just didn't really taste all that good. The breakfast potatoes were pretty good though, probably the tastiest thing on my plate but the overall dish was a fail. 2/10. Then we got the bill and sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for somebody to pick it up. Once we got the attention of a server we were told to go to the front to pay. Nobody was behind the register so I asked the hostess to ring me up. I really wanted to like this place. I like that they make their own ketchup and seem "trendy" but the food just look good on pictures but doesn't actually taste good or the flavors don't mesh well. read more

We were seated immediately and had pretty good service. Inside is really cute, more of a modern farmhouse vibe decor wise but felt nice and clean. Drinks: They don't have any lattes or espresso coffee just hot coffee. I tried the Iced Honey Caramel Crunch latte and it was very sweet. A little too sweet for my liking. Pineapple express juice was decent would order that again and my mother enjoyed her Bloody Mary cocktail. Orange juice was fresh squeezed as well which was quite nice. Food : We all enjoyed our food, and also to-go a BLT but could have done without cheese for the BLT. French toast was brioche so big love for that, pancakes are whole grain so they tend to fall apart more than a basic pancake would. It's alright. We got the kids portion and the sausage wasn't very good. It was super mushy. The French toast was good and a nice size. The bacon was nice and crispy. Orange juice was good and so were the potatoes. The online orders are right in front of the door to the right. Literally walk in and look at the three tier shelf on the right against the glass. I didn't notice it at first and asked an employee where the pick up is for to go orders and she responded in a condescending manner as if I was stupid I didn't see it. I'm not much of a breakfast girlie but the group wanted to go eat and First Watch didn't disappoint! It's a very clean and nice looking establishment. The manager Brody immediately greeted us once seated, apologized for the long wait and comped us some million dollar bacon and sausage to nibble on while we waited on our orders. The lemon ricotta pancakes were sooooo delicious and melted in my mouth. The sausage was delicious too. As was my breakfast drink and my sangria which I didn't get a pic of. Fast delivery. Nothing to write home about, but good. Cost: Not so good. $28 for an omelet, potatoes, toast, coffee, and an *added* pancake. $8.29 for a pancake. I get that inflation has been bad for the last 5 years, but not 8 bucks for a pancake bad. It seem a little extreme. I would say give it a try, but pay close attention to the menu. I really wanted this place to be good since close and convenient. This store needs to mirror the other Prosper store (Preston) since that staff has never messed up our order. I was there since day 1 where invite only for a free meal for their stress test. Knowing they were learning i knew i was there to help them more than them helping us. Each week after grand opening there was always some kind of mistake on almost every visit. Each time we got our check, we received an apology and $40 gift card to come back. Since we have free meal coupons we used them to see if any improvements. Summary of reasons for gift cards: - 45 min wait for food - a cook didn't show - After saying allergic to avocado, still inside the Chorizo Omelet - hair found inside their Bacon Cheddar Cornbread Other mistakes: - Million dollar bacon comes after meal - receiving someone else's meal - did I mention the wait time? Because they are a mile away, i wanted this to work. Will travel the extra miles to go to the other Prosper location. Just this last Sunday, we just don't understand the 30 min wait for a party of 2 and over 10 empty tables both inside and out. Just poor scheduling. My husband and I have been to First Watch a few times since it opened near us and we have had a good experience. We have eaten both inside and on the covered patio outside. We have had a good waiting staff each time. The food has been good and they didn't mind me bringing my own teabags since most of the time I don't care for their choice of teas. I like Irish Brekfast, English Breakfast and the like. I am not much on herbal teas and I do not like green tea. With that said everything else has been great. I am not reducing the starts just because of my tea preference. The resuraunt has always been clean and accomodating. We try to not go when they are at the peak busy time. I usually get the classic breakfast of eggs, chicken sausage, fruit or potatoes depending on my mood and the artisan bread. It has all been very good. read more

I have this place two chances for a take out order and they failed miserably both times. The first time the food was cold, order was wrong and the food was just tasteless and not good. I responded to their automated survey and the GM reached out and offered a small gift-card to come back. Ordered a take out today for the family, they have the bags sealed with a managers signature saying it was checked for accuracy. Got home with meals completely missing. Returned the food to be told they were slammed this morning, as if that justifies me having to make two trips to their restaurant and then to another to pickup breakfast.
