It was my first time visiting this spot and can say I was pleasantly surprised. Most breakfast places tend to jam in seats everywhere to make the most of their space and then it's a noisy, packed mess. Eggsperience is a big open and airy room in an antique white and light blue coloration making you feel at ease and welcome like a nice Spring day. We were seated at a table for four, but an additional person joined us and we figured we'd make room for five at our table. The staff insisted we move to a five-person round table despite them being busy. It was a nice sized table and gave plenty of room for five to six people, Our server was a lovely girl who was always coming by. The menu is huge and since we were all talking and having a good conversation, I never really was able to focus, so I ordered a traditional two eggs any style with meat and toast or pancakes. I got my eggs scrambled and dry, with bacon crispy and added diced potatoes (the ones that are just potatoes and nor peppers and diced onions), a toasted English muffin, and asked for a Diet Coke. She asked if I wanted Diet Pepsi or Pepsi Zero. PEPSI ZERO?!!! No one ever has Pepsi Zero. I said absolutely yes to the Pepsi Zero. So she brought me two mason jar mugs because she wasn't sure which was the Diet and which was the Zero. Apparently a staff member attached the two drinks to the wrong fountain heads and she wanted to know which I wanted. I was able to pick the Zero out fairly easily. How cool, Pepsi Zero. Anyway, we all got our food nd mine was made perfectly the way I ordered it. The eggs were made dry (not cooking with butter or oil), the potatoes were just roasted potatoes, the bacon was crispy, the English muffin was toasted (so my whipped butter filled in all the nooks and crannies - as they should do as advertised on TV), and the drink was Pepsi Zero! And our server was quick to replenish drinks. Plus, the cost does not break the bank. Many breakfast places tend to overprice their breakfast items. I wish I came here sooner. Eggsperience in Wheeling, IL on Dundee Road We were pleasantly surprised by the modern, elegant dining area with high ceilings, and there's plenty of parking for customers. One tip: the parking is a bit tricky to find. You will need to turn into the lot and take a hard left around the building, so don't worry if you miss it on the first try! We ordered several different entrées, including some of their breakfast specialties. The food was decent, though it didn't quite stand out for us compared to other breakfast spots in the area. That said, the servers and staff were all very courteous and attentive, which made for a pleasant visit overall. If you're in the area, it's worth a try to see if it suits your taste. This place is pretty nice, warm, cozy and lots of natural sun liggg. we got seated right away, the cafe mocha was tasty and my chicken and waffle was perfect! Crispy deboned chicken breast on top of a bacon infused waffle with jalapeño syrup. Yummmmsssss! Also the tres leches French toast with ample fruits and condensed milk was also very fresh and delightful. Pricing is fair and our server was nice and efficient. I met a friend at Eggsperience Breakfast & Lunch - Wheeling for breakfast. The first thing you will notice is how open and bright the restaurant is, even on a cold and cloudy winter day. We sat at a booth which had plenty of room for two tall people. I had the chocolate chip Belgian waffle and pancakes as a to go order. The waffle was crispy and warm and full of chocolate. The pancakes tasted great when I warmed them up the next day. Skip the Ghardelli hot chocolate, it tasted watery and plain. Our sever was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. For my regular Saturday brunch with my mom, we always try to find places we've not been to before. We aren't always successful, but we did run across Eggsperience in Wheeling. I'm certain I've been to another one of their locations before, but it would have been a long time ago. We were seated right away - always a plus. They have a nice brunch menu. Of course, being limited in diet, there wasn't that much I could have but they accommodated my allergies. My mom had the Avocado Toast, which she said was very good. I had scrambled eggs with potatoes, link sausage, and gluten-free toast. The eggs and potatoes were good. The sausage was very good - and the three links were enormous. Until coming here, I had never had good Gluten-free bread. I don't know what brand they get or if they make it in their kitchen, but it was actually very good. Their portions are large, the service is good, and their prices are reasonable. In all, this was a great breakfast. When we want to go somewhere we've been to before, this will be on the list. read more

I've been to the Eggsperience in Mount Prospect tons of times, and was happy when the Wheeling location opened, as it's a little bit closer. I finally visited for the first time Nov. 28, and was surprised at the differences. The decor at the Wheeling location is extremely trendy/modern, with gray plank floors, gray booth upholstery, etc. It looks nothing like the diner-style location at Randhurst. The second surprise was that even the menu was different! Unlike Mount Prospect, the Wheeling location offers no wraps or paninis -- and those are my favorite items. Instead, I tried the chicken avocado sandwich. It was good, although messy to eat. I'd order it again, but I hope paninis eventually make an appearance at this location! While I was there, I turned in a form to join their loyalty program and receive a discount on my next order. The form's instructions said to hand it in at the front desk. When I tried to do that, the employee there said I needed to give it to my waiter. When I gave it to my waiter, he said he'd pass it along to his manager. I'm not sure what ever became of it - I assumed I'd get a welcome email or something, but a few weeks later, I have not. read more

Stopped by here for a casual breakfast and enjoyed my experience. Fortunately, when I visited, the restaurant wasn't extremely busy so it was very easy to park and they kept spacing between tables so that the dining room didn't feel too crowded. It was also nice how they have an exposed ceiling, so there is plenty of air to circulate and the noise level was low enough that it was easy to have a conversation. Prices are at the usual $10 per dish and there is a good variety of both sweet and savory options available. Service was also quick and friendly and we didn't feel rushed to finish our meal. In the dishes I tried, I was happy with the flavor combinations they created. In the oreo pancakes, the pancakes were large, fluffy, and uniform size with a good firmness to them. The syrup matched nicely with this and the oreo crumble was spread evenly over the pancakes which had everything tied together well with the vanilla bean sauce. The chicken and waffles were a good mix of sweet and savory. It was better than the average chicken tender preparation since the meat was fried well in a crispy buttermilk batter and the chicken breast was a generous size. The belgium waffle was infused with plenty of bacon and the jalapeno maple provided a nice kick and sweetness to tie everything together. The food here was pretty delicious. I'm not a huge breakfast person, but when I'm in the mood I go big. The tres leches French toast was moist and is definitely for people with a sweet tooth. The diced potatos were fairly average for a breakfast side dish. My caramel macchiato was quite large, and very well made. Pretty good breakfast spot, and it was also fairly quiet when we went during the weekdays. Service was pretty solid, the waiter was pretty attentive. We've been enjoying various Eggsperience Cafe locations for years; the chain with the punny name continues to eggspand. This was our first visit to their newest restaurant, located in burgeoning One Wheeling Town Center near Burper King and with ample free parking. Brave to give it a go before the pandemic lockdown was lifted, the café opened in "soft" mode with carryout service plus service at ten tables outdoors. We peeped through the window to see what the dining room looks like. I would describe the décor as eggcentric. Though the menu here is not as eggstensive as at other locations, it's fun to eggsplore. It offers a variety of egg and batter-based dishes, and a smattering of lunch items. On this visit, my Missus and her sis enjoyed build-your-own-omelets. Eggcept for one of the omelets having an eggcess of feta cheese, both were eggcellenct. Preferring lunch, I ordered a chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. Served on toasted 9 grain bread, the salad was studded with cranberries, golden raisins and pecans. This and the accompanying fries were eggceptional. It was a windy day and our server, who had a great sense of humor, eggspediciously chased down items that blew off tables and cartwheeled across the parking lot. The ranchero omelette was nicely spicy. Chorizo in omelettes can sometimes be greasy but this was not. Extremely nicely made. Tomatoes and jalapeños were great. The ham on the sandwich was lovely and thick. The egg was cooked hard, so it's not messy at all. Perfectly done. Not too much avocado either. We will return for sure. read more

Had a wonderful breakfast at Eggsperience. We had the Tommy boy Skillet and the Rocky Mountain High omelette with sweet potato fries. Our server was very nice and attentive. Food came out so quick and was fresh and hot!! Everything tasted great. Coffee was poured for us, and she left behind a carafe of coffee so we could top our coffee when ever we felt like it. Just okay, nothing to run home about unfortunately. My fiancé and I checked this place out a few weeks ago after reading all the great reviews about the place. I ordered the Country Benedict and he ordered the Two Eggs Any Style, he chose over medium. When we got ours dishes, we were a little disappointed that both of our eggs were under done. I don't think it was too much expectation to think that the eggs would be perfectly cooked considering the restaurant's name. Hash browns also weren't done all the way; can't comment on any other side dishes as we both got hash browns and toast is just toast. Servers were nice, nothing to complain about service wise. The restaurant as a whole though is not what I'd consider "cozy" like in their description. It's bright, it's modern in color scheme, but definitely not what I would describe as cozy. Overall it wasn't a horrible experience compared to others we've had, but it just wasn't the eggsperience we were anticipating. read more

The ingredients are fresh, the portions are large and the coffee is good. Liliana was our server, and she was EXCELLENT! She was attentive, polite, and professional. She was pretty busy and kept her good attitude the entire time. She never seemed frazzled or overwhelmed no matter how busy she was. After we paid, we were still (3 of us) sitting and talking and without us asking her to she brought us 3 more hot cups of coffee! We already paid, we already tipped her, and on her own she brought us 3 new cups. Her service was impeccable and I hope management knows just how lucky they are to have her! read more
