The curse of the early riser. It's a good thing that I love breakfast. Not many breakfast places are open at 6am (other than McDonald's, Dunkin' and Starbucks) but I found one for you. Extensive menu, lots of beverage choices, friendly staff. Quiet at 6 am, gets progressively louder and crowded as the rest of the world wakes up. Solid breakfast choice in the area, which isn't as dense with options some of the areas a bit closer to the city or the Palatine/Arlington Heights area. The restaurant is pretty large and not super busy on a Sunday morning. The decor really pushes the rooster and almost farmhouse style theme throughout. Portion sizes are fairly large and prices are a bit higher than what you'll find elsewhere but still reasonable. Food here was pretty good, I didn't care much for the specialty coffee drinks but find the breakfast options to be quite solid. I like the spongy feeling of the waffle french toast which tastes fairly eggy and has a unique texture that was enjoyable. The corned beef skillet was fairly balanced in terms of protein and potatoes, with plenty of corned beef. It wasn't overly salty, though it seemed like an additional element could've helped to tie the different components of the dish together. The egg white delight omelette was quite large and airy and prepared quite well, this is a nice healthy option when served with a side of fruit. Overall, if you're in the area shopping at nearby Heinen's or Mariano's, this is a nice and convenient option. My husband and I met a friend for breakfast at Eggspresso. I love the decorations in this restaurant. The decorations are colorful, plentiful, and make the place feel fun and relaxed. We were seated right away. I had the waffle French toast (housemade waffles dipped in our French toast batter) with chocolate chips. My husband had the corned beef skillet with pancakes. Our friend ordered the Work out Omelette (egg white omelette with chicken breast, broccoli florets and Swiss cheese, served with fresh fruit). Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Highly recommend for a private party! We hosted a family breakfast and were so incredibly pleased. They set-up a table for 15 adults and 3 children allowing us to easily talk to each other. There is not much to say about this rebranded Eggsperience. It is baffling to see it even popular at all. It's almost like the restaurant is trying to see how little it can get away with while still coasting on its reputation. Our food was in hilariously small portions, and I say that not as someone who likes big portions or seeks them out. It's truly the type of place where they bring out your plate and you think, "This is it?" My husband's sandwich barely had the ingredients peeking out from the bread. It almost looked like two sets of two pieces of bread smashed together. I then realized that my food had pretty much zero flavor. My tastebuds were searching for any but came up short. I really liked the decor and the layout of the restaurant as well- it sort of gave me new age diner vibes with it's traditional looking indoor dining room along with it's large and modern looking patio. I ordered steak and eggs, and oatmeal. The steak and eggs were great, although the oatmeal lacked a little bit. They forgot to give me milk that is supposed to come with it, and the brown sugar they gave was not nearly enough to sweeten the entire oatmeal portion, which by itself was not sweetened in any way. I found this place wanting breakfast for lunch at work and they serve breakfast until they close in the mid-afternoon. I enjoy all of the options and I have been coming back every once in a while since. I most recently went a week or so ago and pretty much right when the opened. It was fairly empty. Tables were spaced at least 6 feet apart or booths were closed off for social distancing. All employees were wearing masks. I got a Chorizo Omelette which is one of my go-to options here as I don't usually buy chorizo at home to make. It also comes with hash browns and pancakes or toast, but I usually opt for pancakes as I don't make pancakes at home too often. The coffee was decent, not my favorite, but much better than many other breakfast places that I have gone to. I really enjoy the variety of juices and definitely the smoothies that they offer. I had a smoothie to go as I was going to be running errands afterwards. Overall, service was really quick and efficient. Everything inside was socially distanced and since it was early, there wasn't a lot of breakfast goers to begin with. Ok Hello! Why this place has a three is beyond me. DING DING DING!!!' We stopped in for a quick local breakfast. Looking a nice cafe this gem is hidden behind the McDonald's in the corner of shopping mall. I had the chipotle eggs Benedict with chorizo, it was excellent full of flavor. Wife had the strawberry crepes, they were good not the best, daughter had the avocado toast, she rates it as excellent the portions were very good. We had juice mango and orange both were excellent. The waiters are on it never wished for anything. Ambiance is smooth soft jazz and very friendly. I highly recommend this non-corporate cafe stop in and eat at this hidden gem!. read more

There's nothing like the experience of sitting outside on the front patio at Eggsperience, taking in the weather, the scene of coming and going shoppers and other diners with their dogs and families! Other guests here are always so friendly, happy and engaging. I've been coming here for many years and always have a happy experience. The shape of the dining room inside is such that while it is one large room there are various sections separated by circular walls and so on and it allows you to have a little bit of privacy within this big space. It also dampens the noise a little bit if you're in the right spot. That being said, this is never a very noisy place. Wait staff and the family who owns the restaurant are always very polite and greet you with a smile. Water and coffee are consistently refilled, staff checks in on you and keeps your table clean. Owners handle the cashier station with a friendly "how was everything" and "thank you." A typical Greek diner (am I allowed to say that on Yelp!?????), the Greek omelette HERE is delicious...and so are their other omelettes, frittatas, etc. And the portions...BIG...plus they come with sides of fresh bread, pancakes, fruit. Come starving, leave stuffed. I am a big fan of fresh-squeezed juices. Eggsperience sports their juice squeezer machine right up front. Coffee and tea here is decent but not special. We had a wonderful lunch here. We are new to the area and were looking for a place to get lunch. We sat outside even though it was a little chilly. Our waitress was Yahaida and she was fantastic! Even after all of these years together, when my husband says those three special words, my heart goes aflutter. Out for breakfast. My in-laws were staying with us for a night before flying out of O'Hare and because my bed and breakfast skills are lacking, we took them out for the breakfast portion of their visit. We debated between a few local favorites and landed on this one because it was the most directly on my route to work. As it turns out, that's maybe not the most solid grounding for making a decision. The place was nearly deserted, which I expected because we were there early on a Tuesday morning. I was more surprised, though, at how slow the service was given that we were among only a handful of patrons. Our waitress was excellent; it was the amount of time it took for our food to come out that was unusual. I started getting concerned I wasn't going to make it work on time and we had allotted more than enough time. The food was okay. I had the strawberry yogurt filled crepes. The crepes were well-cooked; the yogurt was... well, it was yogurt. The portion was ridiculously large - it came with three crepes and I could only eat one. I stumbled into Eggsperience after I was quoted a 2 hour wait to get my oil changed down the street and needed to pass the time and fill my empty stomach on a Sunday morning. I was a fan of the Mexican influence in the breakfast menu and went with the Chorizo Eggs Benedict - absolutely delicious with a spicy kick to it. I also nursed a hot coffee and orange juice along with it. I was pleased to learn there were multiple locations within Chicagoland and plan on visiting one closer to my home to try out the Chorizo Corned Beef Hash (I have a slight obsession with Chorizo). Only docking a point because my waitress was trying to rush me a bit to turn her table which made me a little uncomfortable, and I did box up my food and leave before my 2 hour wait for my car was over due to her rushing me. This isn't a place where you can post up for awhile with a laptop like I had originally thought, so if you have time to burn, you'll be rushed.
