I chose this restaurant as an alternative to the vast options of small and large chain breakfast spots along US HWY 75. I am so glad that I did! I was encouraged by the crowded parking lot in front of the entrance and seemingly large amount of people inside. I walked in and was immediately greeting (with a smile and a "good morning") and escorted to a table near the front windows. The waitress helping me was very nice, witty, and welcoming. The food options are fantastic. Whether you're looking for a hearty cowboy, ranch style, or good ol' southern breakfast or a healthy serving of fresh avocado on thick grain toast with eggs and fruit (I added a side of bacon), they've got you covered. Honestly there are so many good options that you can't go wrong with this place. Oh, and the coffee was perfect. The ambiance was perfect for how busy it was. Music was faint but noticeable with family friendly tunes to please everyone generation. You could actually hold a conversation without the need to raise your voice over the crown, kitchen, or music. My food was cooked to perfection and i had such a great experience that i felt compelled to leave a review before i hit the road. If you're ever travelling through this part of Texas or if you're a local looking for a change to the mundane, then look no further. Eggsquisite is at the top of my list of breakfast favorites. Ummmmm....first and absolutely worst is that this place felt very intentionally segregated. The front area was all white and I made a joke about it to my wife. Not five minutes later we watched them walk a black family past an empty booth to the back and then sit two white people in the empty booth. Coincidence? Maybe, but I'm not the first to notice. The quality of food comes nowhere close to matching the menu prices. It's not good. The gravy that people seem to like is a powder mix. That's ok, if you have reasonable prices to match. We were a party of 22 celebrating my grandson's high school graduation. There were too many of us to sit at one big table but we were close and able to visit back and forth. Our waiter Antony K was an all star champ! I don't know how he got all the orders straight and they came out hot and in order of how he took them. Amazing!n He did have help with delivery, but after that he took care of all the refills and was congenial, efficient and kind. Eating in a restaurant is always a challenge for me because I eat a pretty pure carnivore diet and getting enough to with out all the sides poses a problem at times. One of my favorite breakfasts is corned beef hash and eggs which they have. It did however have some little potato bits in the corned beef but on occasion I have to fudge a little. I ordered two portions of corned beef hash with two over easy eggs al la carte. The corned beef was tasty and the eggs were done perfect! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I don't know what the rest of our party tipped, I was surprised they didn't add a percentage because we were a huge party, but I made sure he got 25% for my bill. read more

Tried this establishment on the way out of town with my daughter. It was a Sunday morning and busy. My daughter liked their Italian coffee and we both had their fresh squeezed Orange juice. The waitress was prompt. I had biscuits and gravy omelette. It's sounds strange but it is awesome!! My daughter had a breakfast plate that she chose to have crepes with. We used the Yelp! reservation request for this restaurant and when we arrived 5 months later the queue for getting in was large, but we were seated in 2 minutes tops! The service and food were equally fantastic. They were busy but the booth was clean and tidy. I would highly recommend for any kind of breakfast or lunch. The manager is AWESOME!! She is always friendly and is on top of her people. She keeps the place running. We have had breakfast, lunch, birthday parties with large groups and this place has NEVER disappoints. The staff is friendly, funny and makes you feel like they want you to be there and are happy to serve you. It can get a little noisy but the high ceilings help so you can have a conversation. The menu is breakfast and lunch items. The price compared to portion and taste is good. The specialty pancakes, waffles and seasonal items are fantastic. We had a short wait when we arrived. The check in process was very easy and I was notified through Yelp and also via text message that our table was ready. We were set in a booth and was waited on by a handsome gentleman who was on point with everything (expect giving us his name) LOL. Food was on point, and the vibe was fun and fast paced. Plenty of wait staff and a pleasant woman whom I assume was the manager stopped by to check on our table. Coffee was refilled timely and plenty of flavored creamer and sugar options are available on your table. We will be visiting again next time we visit my niece who is attending Grayson College. Ok.... Taken immediately and enthusiastically to my table and shown the menu. Given time to peruse the menu while I enjoyed my delicious coffee. I ordered the Ironman Omelette. Delicious as the first time. Fruit cup was delicious cold and crispy. There is one thing they excel at here. Consistency. The owner came by and we chatted for a few minutes about the operation. She goes to every table, but it is not just checking another box. She genuinely cares and if you observe, there is no doubt she is in charge and truly enjoys what she does. The waitstaff (Gus) gave great recommendations and the food!!! Large (but not huge) portions. Everything is fresh! from the freshly squeezed OJ to the fruit cup.
