I knew before coming here that if they were bold enough to put eggs in the name of the restaurant, they'd better have damn good eggs. They did! I ordered one of the Benedict dishes (can't remember which one), and it was phenomenal. Staff was kind and friendly, we were treated well, and our coffee cups stayed full. My reason for the rating is due to all the other food that we ordered. I got a side of French toast because I'm obsessed with it, so I always get it when I'm out for breakfast or brunch and I see it as an option on the menu. It was horrible!! Half of it was nearly raw -- just a soggy, unappealing mess. The other half was like it wasn't dipped at all. Completely dry. The entire thing was inedible. I can't remember if I had diced potatoes or hash browns, but those were also a disappointment. Cooked well, but not seasoned properly, if at all. I was actually shocked, just because of how well the eggs were executed. I went with two other people that morning, and they had similar feedback -- eggs were amazing (they both ordered omelettes), and everything else was either meh or unforgettable in the worst way. Still, everyone has an off day, and maybe the day that we went was theirs. They were PACKED, to the point where we had to wait about 20 minutes for our table, but I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. I get the feeling that they're always busy like that. Either way, I would go back one more time and try them again, just based on how good the eggs were and how friendly the staff was. Maybe the next time everything will be amazing. read more

My friend and I had a great breakfast here the other day. The cafe is tucked away in the corner of a shopping area, but inside its very modern and beautiful. We got seated in a nice comfy booth against the wall and stayed awhile chatting and they were so kind the entire time. I had the sweet combo with two poached eggs that weee perfectly poached, crispy bacon (subbed out the sausage for double bacon) and beautiful crepes with berries on top. My friend had the same thing but with scrambled eggs and pancakes. We both enjoyed our meals a lot! Their coffee was Segafredo which always tastes good, and they were great about keeping my coffee filled/warmed the entire time as well as my water. Luckily we were there before the church crowd got there and our wait was less than 15 mins. As we were leaving the crowd had arrived and I heard wait times up to an hour!! The food was amazing! I got the sausage and biscuits omelette and the gravy topped it off perfectly. The pancakes were fluffy and cooked just right. My wife had the biscuits and gravy with eggs on the side. The only complaint would be that got busy and we had to ask manager walking around for the check. This was our 1st time here and we didn't know the check out process. It would have been nice if she had given us the check and something along the lines of "Thank you for dining with us, you can check out up front whenever you're ready."
