Okay, food was ok and service was good . We asked the server what was good and she recommend THREE different steak dishes so we thought "wow, steak must be amazing here." Food was all in all ok. HOWEVER. Why do you market it as a steak "skillet" when it comes out in a bowl?? When you order a skillet meal, you expect it to come out in a sizzling (shocker) skillet. When ordering my husband even said "I'll do medium rare since it's coming out in a skillet" thinking it would continue to cook and end up medium. Steak came out rare and it came out as a bowl with a whole steak on top. He had to pull steak out and take everything off his bread plate to cut the steak and then put it in his bowl. The whole thing didn't make sense and it's crazy that they serve it this way.

The food at Eggtastic is always delicious and reliable. This is one of my go-to breakfast spots because the prices are reasonable the food is consistently great. The service is always great and the ambiance is fun. It is always busy though and the tables/chairs can wobble sometimes but I always have a great time I go and I never feel rushed to order or get out the door. The drinks are always great and the coffees are okay, but also not the biggest coffee drinker. Definitely a must try!

Been here three times. Food is always great, service is friendly and accommodating, ambiance is urban yet comfy, very loud when busy. As someone who is gluten free I truly appreciate their very delicious gf offerings and accommodations. Coffee is wonderful, I'm an espresso drinker and super picky with my coffee, the coffee and espresso drinks here hit the mark. A friend said her strawberry matcha is terrific. Between myself and friends we've tried six various breakfast and lunch items and all the food was seasoned perfectly and tasted great. Being gluten free, I've tried the gf pancakes (fluffy and good consistency), the veggie skillet and chorizo eggs Benedict (hash browns on bottom instead of bread, but fyi they do have gf bread, I'm just not a bread lover). All were wonderful. Daughter had regular pancakes she said were great, friends told me how delicious their regular eggs Benedict, veggie skillet, sausage and eggs with side of berries, and ranch chicken sandwich.

Once again a place that we live right around the corner from and never knew about. We had friends in town for the weekend so look for a good brunch spot on a Sunday. I was impressed that when we showed up at 9:45 on a Sunday morning, we were able to get a table in less than five minutes The service was really good. Our server checked on us quite often. The latte that I got was really good and moderately priced. I got the cowboy omelette and that's the reason for the one star drop. It was way too fluffy and tasted like it had something added to the eggs to make it bigger. But it tasted good. Everybody else said that they enjoyed their breakfast. Overall, I would come back here again, but I may not try the omelette

Fantastic spot for breakfast, brunch and coffee. Not only was the esthetic of the restaurant beautiful (down to the glassware & dishes & the bar) but most importantly the food was spot on amazing! And the coffee drinks were equally delicious too. Loved seeing that they have a giant coffee bean roaster. Me and my family of 12 were visiting from California and were so fortunate to have found this place truly. Each and every one of us was happy with our meals. No mistakes just great food. Our hostess did a fantastic job as well. I feel so bad that I forgot her name but she was a young hispanic woman with beautiful green eyes. She was so polite, cheerful and attentive to all of our needs, I was legit impressed. I truly look forward to my next visit and hope that this restaurant thrives!

Ok I don't give out 5 stars too often, but our server Alex was fantastic. He gave a deep dive description of the menu down to the syrup used on the waffles and how the chicken sausage is cooked. The ambiance is bright and welcoming with the delicious smell of food being prepared. How could I forget we got the signature drinks Mocha Latte and Salted Caramel Mocha Latte.

We wanted to try out a new to us place for brunch and selected Eggtastic Brunch Cafe. Even before entering I was already pleased with easy access parking in a very large, shared parking area. It's trendy decor with sky high ceilings. Our group was all over the menu ordering omelettes, biscuits and gravy, salads, chicken tenders and gluten free selections. I ordered the 2x2x2 selecting eggs fried over hard, chicken apple sausage and crepes. Instead of icing and powdered sugar I subbed whipped cream. The server didn't mention it but there was a small 50 cents up charge. All of us enjoyed everything we tried. As a heads up Eggtastic does not take reservations on weekends and holidays. Also this is one of the places were the servers tip themselves 20% when there's 6 or more in the dining party. There was 7 of us. I definitely recommend as the cafe, menu, location and service are all wonderful.

Our 2nd time eating here and we were just as happy as the first. We came a little later on a Saturday with a larger group (8) so we did have about a 45min wait but we expected that and were happy to wait. The guys went to the small bar to wait and the girls went and walked around some stores in the shopping strip. Service was great. Food was excellent. Everyone cleaned their plates. I tried lunch this time and got the Ranch Chicken melt. My Mom got the turkey bacon club. Fries were delicious. I want to try their okra soon and sooooo many other things on the menu. Their coffee is smooth and delicious. We purchased some beans on our way out to be able to enjoy it at home. I got a abuelita con cafe from cocktail menu and there was no question their was tequila in there. It was strong. I appreciate a strong drink. I did add some more coffee to it to meet my taste preference. Highly recommend this place if you want great food with good service. No reservations on the weekends. Don't be in a hurry if you're going on the weekend because the secret is out.

Food was amazing, our server was Noah and we are going to keep asking for him it was our 2nd time here he is excellent. The ambiance was also great and the food comes out quickly.

My brunch buddy and I love trying all the brunch spots the metroplex has to offer. Eggtastic checks off every must have- good coffee/cocktails, food variety, good service, and good ambiance and vibes. The decor is modern and trendy. I wish I had gotten more pics of the decor but I try not to make it seem like I'm taking pictures of everyone eating. There's great lighting and the space is nice and open. And if you are sat at a table with a booth and chairs, you are squished next to the neighboring tables. The service was good and the food came out in less than 10 mins. We both ordered a cup of coffee...outstanding. It's very bold and delicious and the table has all your coffee needs. I ordered the chicken fried steak, eggs over easy, hashbrowns, and a slice of sourdough toast. The chicken fried steak was great- crispy crunchy batter and the steak was just the right thickness and overed in a cream gravy. My only complaint is that the steak itself was very bland, a little more seasoning and it would have been a 10/10. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the hashbrowns were crispy. The sourdough toast was thick and buttered but didn't really taste like sourdough. We will definitely be retuning to try some of the sweet offerings, they all looked so good!

YUMMIES!!This place is clean and delightful!! The service was on point. The food and the drinks delish! Drinks: we had: avocado margarita, coffee and abuelitas con cafe. Thanks to the ladies that let me take picture of their cappuccino martini, looks yummy. What we ate: coffee cakes, eggs, hash browns and chicken apple sausages all yummy. B-day pancakes and tenders... very good. Avo 'n lox and avocado toast.. both good. They roast their coffees too.

Okay so it's Sunday after early service and we wanted some food so we decided to check this brunch place out. My husband and I were excited about the place the ambiance was family friendly modern architecture and the place smelled amazing. Menu had lots of options for people who eat sugar and other sweet stuff. My husband got the steak and eggs and the steak was a lot thinner than expected and I got the meat lover skillet and it was okay. Both of us sort of disappointed on the coffee, it wasn't the best coffee we've had it was a very safe cup of coffee. The food was the same, nothing out of the ordinary it was also very safe and standard breakfast food. The service was the most enjoyable thing about the restaurant, our waitress was amazingly nice and very good at not invading or hovering over us. Overall we both agree we'd come back for the service and maybe try something more from the lunch menu. read more

Ok this might be my new favorite brunch spot. They have a coffee roaster too so for all my coffee lovers, you're going to love it. I got the Latte with vanilla bean and it is soo good. For food, you have to get the crab cake benefit, the "Usual" omelette and the cinnamon roll pancakes. The crepes were the other highlight for me. This place was MUCH NEEDED for an area not teeming with breakfast outside of the usual chains. But it's so much more....!! Food - This place has quality quality ingredients at incredibly great prices. You feel like you're getting your value but the quality is more.. we had the pancakes Oreo+Strawberry and eggs/sausage/bacon. The sausage was delicious, great links not your standard basic breakfast sausage. They even ask your preferred bacon temp. The pancakes were the star though, perfectly cooked and what must be a home made batter. Crisp edges soft and fluffy. Service - Waitress was fantastic. Incredibly friendly and great about refills and recommendations. The restaurant itself was designed up beat and modern. It's beautiful inside and has tons of great seating. Highly recommended, 5*. Great breakfast spot to hit up before a day of shopping in the area. read more

We were on the hunt for something other than hotel lobby breakfast and found Eggtastic. Clean and bright interior with a nice variety of breakfast and drink options. Hubs had biscuit and gravy omelet and I had the Sweet Combo with 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon and 2 Nutella crepes. Everything was cooked well and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. read more

Cool new brunch spot in Alliance shopping center towards the back by Sam Moon. I love the decor on the inside-- clean, bright, and lively. My son loved the coffee roaster that was shaped like a train. Very small waiting area, but the hostess was very friendly and they turned tables pretty quickly. We got the Southern Combo, BLT+E, and Mickey cake. The pancakes and traditional breakfast was good, but the BLT was lacking a bit. I think the sourdough was just too thick and not nearly toasted enough for a BLT. Next time I'll try one of their bennys! Our server was kind and kept our coffees full and made sure we had everything we needed. They also have an extensive drink menu for a brunch only place so I'll definitely have to come back to try one. Overall, it was a great brunch and service for a busy Sunday and there was plenty of staff to accommodate the crowd coming in. read more

The service at Eggtastic was friendly and good. Good atmosphere. Coffee was good. The food however was a disapointment. I ordered 2 eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy. The eggs were ok, but I got was English muffins instead of biscuits. The gravy was sausage-less and bland. So actually, I didn't get what I ordered! Also, the online menu showed the item to be two dollars cheaper than the local menu. read more

First time here. There was a wait but the list sends a text when your table is ready. The waiting area did get cold when someone opened the door. I ordered the flat white and the Alamo omelette with hash-browns and mini pancakes. Everything was good. The pancake syrup was too sweet for my taste. The service was friendly. Pretty yummy! Love their crab eggs benedict. Can get really busy and the tables are kind of smushed all together so not the most comfortable ambiance. Service is pretty good, have had the wrong thing brought out before but it was swiftly fixed. Bathrooms are nice and usually clean but the sinks are always COVERED in water so be careful not to lean against them. Safe to say I've walked out with a soaking front of shirt on two occasions because of this lol! If you're okay with being a little packed in and it being loud in order to get some really good food then give it a try! I would say, try and get a booth if at all possible though! read more

Long line wait and not enough servers Ambiance is generic nothing special just a wall name of the restaurant. Cortado coffee tasted as American coffee use in a expresso machine which I return due tasted bad The cowboy omelet was a good portion but taste was a generic one nothing special compared to other brunch restaurants. I love to try new places for breakfast and brunch when we're out of town, however I did not enjoy this visit. I was really happy with our server who was so helpful! However, I found it a little strange when our meal was delivered quicker than our coffee. Much to my dismay, I found my eggs ice cold and very dry. I wondered if they were from a prior reject order or just rushed...They seemed more akin to egg beaters instead of fresh fluffy ones. In addition I ordered biscuits& gravy with bacon and decided to focus on that portion of my dish. It was ok, but nothing to write home about. Sadly we will not be back. On a final note, our lattes were flat and foamless. My final tip: skip it, but if you can't opt for regular coffee and stick with the biscuits! read more

I was excited to try this cafe as my friends love it. We arrived at about 9 am Monday morning. We were one of only about three tables and were sat very quickly. Our server seemed to be in a major rush which was bit annoying as I barely had a chance to look at the menu. My friend ordered a cappuccino and the avocado bliss, and I attempted to order the March coffee special, but they were out of everything to make it so I had a dirty chai and a gluten-free version of the avocado bliss. Our food made it to the table before our hot beverages. However, everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. It's a beautiful restaurant, but I imagine when it's busy I'll be very loud because of the ceilings. I would've given them five stars but the service was disappointing with how abrupt and rude our server seem to be I can't imagine what he would be like on a busy day. We will return though and hopefully won't get the same server read more

Great place for a Sunday brunch. I had the vegetable omelette add sausage and it was big, plus it came with 2 sides. I chose hashbrowns and mini pancakes. Both my daughters got the Mickey pancakes topped with Oreos, which they both devoured. Angela was our server, she was super sweet and very attentive. The interior was decorated nicely and very welcoming. We'll be back!! read more

Amazing service, and great coffee. The orange juice literally taste like you're eating juicy oranges, which is great because you can tell it's fresh with nothing added. Highly recommend the avo toast! I don't have a picture of it, but it was great. Def coming back here again. Service was amazing and I can't wait to come back. read more

I visited during lunch so I took advantage of the lunch burger special for $3 off. Horizon 76 turned out to be good for another entree I was craving 2 days later, so I returned a 2nd time. They sat us in the same table unknowingly and I even sat in the same seat. We also had the same waiter and he of course remembered us and our drink order from last time. How's that for customer service? On my first visit I ordered a tea and original horizon burger and added a cup of chili, which isn't really listed on the menu but they can addit to your burger for a few dollars more. I had wanted to try the bone-in burger, but they don't offer it anymore. My friend who lives in Ft Worth had not heard of this place that opened around 2020, but then again he doesn't get out much. Burger - this is a very good burger and I would put it up against the best burgers in town. I don't live here, but I bet it would be in the top 3 for any burger enthusiast that likes thick burgers. The sweet sourdough bun really makes this taste even better, not to mention when you have steak blends in your patty, it elevates it quite a bit. Fries - I've had several duck fries around the country and these were not that good. Not much seasoning at all. Tasted like typical frozen breaded fries flash fried in duck fat. Side of chili - small amounts of anything are usually tasty, this chili is no exception. Filled with beans and comes in like a shot glass. They don't give you much as a side. I guess they prefer you to order the $16 chili entree. On my second visit, my buddy and I were craving a good chicken fried steak. We decided to visit here since you rarely see filet / tenderloin as the protein in CFS, plus knowing the burger was awesome, we figured the CFS was probably good too. For my sides, I chose grilled veggies and loaded baked potato. CFS - This was a good version but I didn't really like the breading due to its color and high flour content. I prefer a darker greasier one. The meat was what I came for mainly and it was really good tenderloin pounded pretty dang thin. Not overly breaded, surprisingly. The veggie medley is truly a mix of about 8 different veggies, which you rarely see. Most grilled veggie sides are 3-4 at most. Overall, my best friend was super impressed and now he wants to return to their BBQ restaurant next door. I was also impressed, but I would come back for a burger or another entree next time.

A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.

Glad I checked out this new brunch spot! Great food and coffee! I thought it was cool that they roast their own beans in house and even sell bags of their own coffee beans.
