Walking in, the country music on the speaker system welcomed us about the same time the Hostess did, and we were escorted to our table. There were a LOT of choices on the menu here. I was tempted by the amazing Breakfast menu, but decided upon a Chili Cheese Burger with Hand-cut Fries. It ended up being a great choice, though looking at everyone else's food around us I am not sure there are any bad choices here!

It was so oily it started dripping with the slightest touch. We've eaten here before and the food was actually pretty good, so maybe Saturdays come with a different and special cook. Today, though, it was a caricature of a true greasy spoon. Here's the thing: you can have rude waitresses if the food is amazing. You can have an old, run-down restaurant if the food is amazing. You can even get away with both. What you can't have is bad food, bad attitudes, and décor that looks like everyone stopped caring years ago.
